Has anyone ever heard of a normal religion with a surprise ceremony?  No, the whole point of religious rituals is that there is repetition and the celebration of history.  Familiarity is the watchword of religious ceremony.  Otherwise, it wouldn't be a ceremony that gets repeated.  The surpise here is only to Bree.  Everyone else at the ceremony knows the ritualistic/repetitive aspect of it, and exactly what's going to happen.  Isn't that scary?

It's like the aborted sacrifice of Isaac by his father Abraham.  For Isaac the ceremony was a surprise.

Here, that kind of logical point isn't something I would expect someone of Daniel's age to get.  But you'd think the target of the ceremony would ask lots of questions about why the actual events at the ceremony are being withheld from her. there were actually two Enochian words i found that corresponded with the numbers 0049.  

LIL   and   PAID

at first there didn't seem to be much connection, as PAID is defined in Enochian as simply "always."   however, when i looked up the meaning for LIL, I came upon something interesting.

LIL is defined as "the first aethyr"  

I looked up the meaning of the word Aethyr... and THIS is what i found!!!!!!!

after further research... 

i discovered passages in the Sacred Texts of Thelema which use the words Aethyr and Ceremony together.  here is an example:

THEN  (this just keeps getting better haha)  i found a passage ALSO including the word "initiation."  ahhh!!!!!

I know you feel really good about the ceremony and your religion but, what does it mean when you say you "crossed over"...it means you crossed over from sanity to full on crazy(IMHO). All this time I've been very forgiving of the religion thing.  Looking up Aleister Crowley, it seems he's been "black-listed" but I'm not so sure he was such a bad guy.  It seems he believed in finding your own true individual purpose, and finding that usually involved getting in contact with a "spirit guide."  Also, he seems pretty accepted among the...should I say..."occult" circles, although that word is so loaded.  He designed a tarot deck...Thoth, which is very popular and well-known.

BUT, they seem to have latched on to the "creepy" aspect, or possibility of the ceremony and the religion.  I too want to know what the shots were for.  Iron for blood...seems there's going to be some blood spilled...and that could be totally fine or totally creepy.  I don't know.  The shots, though?  That seems weird.

Also, that she's totally willing for an outside person to tell her how her life is, what Daniel's about, etc., without knowing the situation, seems controlling to me.  Bree seems to be purposefully ignoring Daniel and his posts to take the higher ground.  hmmm...before today, I would never had said this, I would have said the ceremony seems cool, and maybe it is.  

But I have to join the contingency that urges Daniel to find WHAT THE FUCK THIS IS ALL ABOUT.  Secrecy in a ceremony is peculiar.

I think the two of you are correct.  I think that there's something up with blood here.  She's probably going to sacrafice (give up) some of her blood and that's why she'll be weak.

As far as Brees mother knowing about what happens in the ceremony...Bree said herself in the 'learning to drive' vlog that her parents didn't know what was going to happen and neither did she.  She also said that her parents weren't in the order of denderah (sp?).  Her mother was never part of  the ritual...or so it may seem.   Lucy has been, and that is why she is helping Bree prepare.  She was part of the ceremony.  Some have said that Lucy looks like she might be in her early thirties...if the last time they proformed this ritual was 15 years ago (I am just supposing)then Lucy was also a teenager around Bree's age.  

Aleister Crowley was "black listed" by the british press (we know how they can be) but he was still a disgusting person (IMHO).  I have spent more time reading up on Crowley.  There is a whole lot of lies and exhaggerations out there...There is also the truth.   The man was a drug abusing pervert.  If you don't believe me, read his personal diaries.  They are all about his disgusting sexual conquests, favorite sexual posistions, sex magick orgies (sp?), and acid trips.  I know, it sounds a lot like the 1960' and 70's...no big deal right?  I guess, I have a problem with all that...CALL ME OLD FASHIONED, I don't care.  

Anyway, my last two comments here are really over the top.  I don't think Bree is going to be killed (Lucy is still alive...right? ooh, unless she's a zombie...now thats what I call an interesting twist) but I don't think she realizes what she is getting herself into.  Actually, we all know that she DOESN'T KNOW what she is getting herself into.  

I have defended Bree's religion in the past thinking everyone was jumping to conclusions and freaking out over nothing.  After watching this vlog, I don't think I can defend her religion any longer.  I have watched her vlog over and over again and things don't seem like they are on the up and up.  Something is wrong.

It's doubtful that the creators want their vlog-series associated with heroin, but maybe they are going for a darker bent. A Crowleyism would be for Lucy to get her hooked and then tell her that her "initiation" is to use her True Will to get herself off of it. BUT, she wouldn't be moaning about the restrictive diet, or excited about milk and cookies if she'd been getting heroin.
And a hallucinogen once a week?.. an injectable hallucinogen?? That seems unlikely.

Maybe the injections are sub-lethal doses sodium pentathol, a.k.a. "truth serum" but long used for brainwashing/programming. This is indead a great series. The creators had real imagination, putting only so much in and hiding a lot more while letting the fans vent on the posts and stirring up even more speculation. "what if this happens, what about that, etc." It's like commercials where people talk about the last scene and guess what's going to happen next. Very creative. Unfortunately, it seems that any future endevor like this will automatically be spoiled because everyone will know it's a copy of LG15, even if the story is no where near the same. 

What do I think will happen? I really doubt the creators will do anything serious to our "pristine" Bree. I have a feeling Daniel will come to her rescue by following her to the ceremony and interupting at some key time. It's classic Hollywood - though this story has been anything but. 

Hats off to the creators who even found this obscure cult. I'm sure it took a lot of digging to decide what to base the story line around. What worries me though...is that they haven't even told you what this ceremony is about.  That implies that they wish to hide something from you.  Normally, one is told what a ceremony entails so they don't just get up there and then forget what they are supposed to do when the unexpected happens.  If this is as important as you say, they at least should have told you what exactly the whole thing means.
Whether or not you "like" Daniel doesn't matter anymore, because he's going to care about you no matter what.  Just give him the heads up so that neither of you do anything stupid tonight.
