I think it was evident that it was a show from like the 3rd episode... i figured it was official.  The whole thing is narrated and put together with great sound and the editing is done with proffesional dramturgical precision. If they wanted they could have made it crappier and tricked more people but that was not their goal. Their goal was to create great fiction and they truly succeeded IMO. I have been a subscriber to the lonelygirl 15 web blogs on youtube.com every since the begining and I also subscribe to the danielbeast video blogs on youtube. In my opinion, Daniel needs to learn to except Bree for what she is and he needs to pull his head out of his butt and go opologize to Bree, but, at the same time, Bree needs to go and calmly talk to Daniel and let him know her true feelings. I can tell from thier blogs that they do have somthing there and they both need to act like responsible young adults and just face facts, religion shouldnt break a relationship, they need to except each others beliefs and work around them. And in the end, I hope Bree and Daniel get back together and start being friends again  and it's my wish that niether of them ever stop making video blogs because I enjoy watching them and they actualy help me understand things about myself and my life and my relationships. I hope everything works out.

 You simply can't put the men, technology, and tax money behind finding someone who doesn't exist. Someone gets caught doing this, they're in for a lifetime of trouble.
 Also, I'm fairly certain their being 'busted' was no accident. 
Now that we know it's a show, they can take the story in a darker direction without upsetting people.

The reactions of Bree and Daniel don't make sense.  Here's an example -- Daniel either knows Bree's religion is associated with evil, or he doesn't.  If he doesn't know, his spaz attack in terms of Bree having to miss a "special dinner" to go to a religious celebration makes no sense.  He can reschedule.  The main characters are teens, not boyfriend-girlfriend or husband-wife with a long history of special dates that have to be observed.  And it makes no sense at all for Daniel to give an ultimatum to Bree about her religion if he thinks it benign.  If he does know that her religion is associated with evil, then the ultimatum makes more sense, but he should be doing a whole heck of lot more:  Calling child services to investigate her parents, talking to Bree on camera about the problems with her "religion," and asking her to question what's going to happen at the upcoming ceremony her parents won't even be in attendance for. Ok, he was following her around and I guess you could call that sort of behaviour stalking - but he was following her because he was WORRIED, for heaven's sake, and I don't see what is so creepy about that.

So I don't really believe that he has "decided not to be there for her" - he's trying, but as we all know he's not allowed around the house anymore, so what else can he do?

He did make a lot of mistakes, but I think giving her the ultimatum was much more of a mistake than deciding to try and look after his friend again and thus "stalk" her...

Darybite means one of the Plymouth Brethren--link to wikipedia article--http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plymouth_Brethren
The brethren were a CHRISTIAN movement in ENGLAND (Bree used to live in England) and Ireland.  The wikipedia page also states that members of the exclusive "closed" brethren--
"...maintain a very isolationist and traditional view, with many of their children home schooled, a strict dress code for church meetings, and members commonly self employed or working for Christian organisations...".  The page also states that the brethren are/were Evangelical, explaining the what-seemed-to-be attempt by Bree's father to get Daniel to come to the play.  This may have been an attempt at a conversion.  I don't know how strong my theory and I understand that this does not explain the Crowley shrine and the iron pills. I did notice in another vid where she said NOTHING about the bandage on her arm. You usually don't get a band-aid with <b>gauze</b> unless it was in the crook or the arm, like in a vein, not in the muscle.
