I had some reservations about the whole kidnapping thing but it seems pretty clear to me that we aren't supposed to think it was a good idea. Heroes make mistake and Bree, Daniel and Jonas are FAR from flawless heroes. I honestly didn't even find it that out of character. Daniel and Bree are a couple of kids in over their head. It would be unrealistic if they always knew what they were doing and made the right choices. They don't have the age, wisdom or life experiences (I mean Bree was homeschooled most of her life for crying out loud)to make be able to do that. Jonas is older and more worldly then the other two and he was the one who knew from the get go this idea was going to fail. I think this has actually been good character development. The fact Jonas mentioned intervening with the ceremony is a good sign also. It implies we might finally find out what exactly the ceremony is. I do wish that they would show us what has happened with Taylor and her sister (forgot her name). They were all on board helping them find Julia and now they aren't even being mentioned. Is that really all we saw of them? Seems like a lot of work for a small role. And frankly after all they did their not even chiming in on this thing is wierd. I also liked the scene between Jonas and Bree at the end. It was very well done. I will admit that I have some concern about where this is going. I am enjoying the Julia storyline so far. I even didn't mind she was such a bad actress at first. But I do hope the producers know where they are going with this. I have a feeling they do have a long term plan with this particular story. But yeah if they don't and are making this kindapping stuff up as they go along there is a big chance it will end up not making sense. I mean they are going to have to make sure they have the resolution for how the trio isn't going to end up in jail worked out. And it will make sense. Especially since both Daniel and Jonas have acknowledged the very real fact they throw people in jail for this kind of thing. But right now I am enjoying it.
