However, I want to make sure that we don't end up with yet another Republican administration. We clearly need a change. I'm afraid that Hillary attracts as many passionate detrcators as she does passionate supporters. There are alos plenty of people in this country who, sadly, still can't wrap their brains around the idea of a female president. I think it would be tough for her to win. Obama is charismatic and impressive, but for my money, he has WAY too little experience to take on the job. And similar to Hillary, he will also start off with an entire population that are not yet ready for a black president. So, right now, I'm leaning towards Edwards. He's sharp, experienced, charismatic in his own right, AND could carry a bunch of southern states that neither Hillary or Obama probably could. The SATs and IB scores don't get averaged in but colleges look at both SATs and IB scores and if you did well in both, you're better off than someone who just did well on the SATs and didn't do IB (or did poorly in it). Plus, at least in Florida, if you get the IB diploma you automatically get free tuition at any public school in the state. You can also get that with SAT scores above a certain score (can't remember it now). And, with IB and AP points, you can get credit that goes towards college so you can come in to your first year of college having enough credits to be considered a sophomore. In fact the government offers a ton of really big scholarships for PhD students ($20000 a yr for 3 yrs) to cover living expenses. Its a super hard test on math, biology, biochemistry, anatomy, chemistry, phsyics etc. There is also a weird personality test aswell and an interview where you have to demonstrate you have the characteristics of a doctor. They ask questions like "if you saw a person get hit by a car what would you do?" etc. As for vet science it is a 5 year degree that strats out with general sciences and then becomes more specific.
