Tired but restless, worried, and unable to sleep, Bree wanders in to talk to Daniel about what they'll do when the sun comes up. Struggling with their confusion over the present situation, and with fear and exhaustion after all they've been through, they both finally admit their desire for each other. Daniel actually puts the camera down for once, and they make crazy shrieking monkey love, leaving several stains on Jonas' Italian silk sofa.

After which Daniel disentangles himself and goes to his room to fall fast asleep.

Bree takes over the rest of the night watch, and whiles aways the long cold hours before dawn preening Purple Monkey and eating tiny dust mites she finds hiding in his fur (hey, it's a social thing between cult members and their stuffed animals--you probably wouldn't understand). Then, in the gloaming just before dawn, she hears her foster dad's voice calling softly to her from outside the cabin. Scared, she takes the camera and goes to alert Daniel, but Daniel is missing!

Just then, Jonas' phone, which he's left behind at the cabin, rings. Bree nervously answers it, and hears a voice whispering ominously. "Check the children!" All alone, and scared out of her wits, Bree dashes to the kitchen, finds a large knife, and ventures out into the darkness, knowing she must escape. Knife in one hand and camera in the other, she reaches the edge of the dark and snowy forest when a twig snaps behind her. She whirls around, gasping as she does so, and screams. Before the video ends, we see what she has turned to face: In the badly shaking video frame, standing there in the midst of the dark forest not 10 feet away, we see....

But you would have taken Jonas' car, but he seems to have taken his keys with him?

Okay, so THEN, you decide to just hang out and wait for Jonas at his cabin to maybe forgive you and come back, and now he's probably freezing to death out in the woods somewhere?

Radio: *static* Bob, you there?

Bob: Yep, what is it Shirley?

Shirley (on Radio):  Bob, we got a fellah, half froze to death, just picked up by the highway.  Says he was held hostage in his cabin... name of Jonas?  Wants to press charges.

Jonas isn't in the Order, but feels very untrusted, betrayed and used by all that he has done for Bree and Daniel. Because of that, he feels no need to help them since they don't trust him. Secretly he too desired Bree and from all the recent pain she has brought him, he decides to go his own path. Soon the Order finds him and takes him captive, mocking Bree in her words "I've got Jonas, and we're not letting him go" The Order tries to get Jonas to talk  and try to brainwash him to believe Bree and Daniel aren't his friends. From that point, Evil Jonas arises.

Could Tachyon have taken the keys? Or Brother? Could they have taken Jonas to maybe flush information out of him? Could they have known that he was part of the Order - or at least he had information he was not aware of - and used Bree and Daniel as "bait" to get to Jonas? Regardless, we know that Bree and Daniel are "wanted" at the cabin, and walking away from it now could be deadly. SEARCH THE ENTIRE CABIN! Here's the sitch: Jonas is a bad guy. Here's why: He's obviously fleeing to get away before something even worse happens. If he was the gentle Jonas he claimed to be, he would have gotten out of the ropes, walked calmly over to Daniel, and talked. He was a boxer. He can take out Daniel.

He left the other two stranded up in the cabin because he's coming back. He probably was worked up about being tied up because he couldn't use his phone to contact the Order. And if Bree and Daniel were smart, they'd have looked at his phone while he was tied up...checked for texts, looked through recent call lists, looked through his address book. And they should have held onto the phone while he was tied up to see if he received any communication from anyone.

Remember when they were driving to the cabin, Jonas said he was calling ahead to make sure the power was on and the place was heated up? Who would he have been calling??? Hmmmmm??? There's nobody else there.

Here is my theory (Disclaimer: sorry, Tachy fans!)

What if Tachyon is the evil one, not Jonas! Here we go:

Tachyon obviously knows where they are since she dropped off the package, maybe she left something else behind... (aka, Order popsicle stick)

Bree said she wanted to "prove herself like Tachyon". How far is she willing to go?! Bree mentioned that just as Gemma was evil, Jonas is a plant, too. 

Well, Tachy&amp;Bro supposedly KILLED Gemma. Is Bree ready to do the same to Jonas? 

Hear this: What if Tachy is setting things up to push Bree into killing Jonas. Then Bree&amp;Tachy will be bound forever.

Bree would then have to believe ANYTHING Tachy told her was out of Tachy's "goodness". Even if Tachy came back and told Bree, "You know, we've been researching these Order people for a long time now, and we believe that really the best way out for you is to do the ceremony."

Bree would have to trust her. Why? Because if she didn't, that would mean admitting to her self that she not only spilled innocent blood, but the blood of a good, honest, close friend.

Then Oppy's got her hook, line, &amp; sinker. No need for multiple plants (i.e. Gemma &amp; Jonas). All the Order needed was Tachyon, who eliminated Bree's friends one by one and used their deaths to tie Bree indelibly to the Order.

I dont think walking outside is a good thing, these are California kids. They dont have the safety wood/snow smarts. Though by judging by the amount of snow, it is warm (compared to most of Canada during the winter) As the roadway was clear, so there must be a regular show plow (someone to take them into town?), and no new snow.

I think Jonas is just terrified for his life, and just camping/staying in a nearby cave that he knows about. (He grew up in the area, so he knows alot more about the area than Bree and Jonas)

Then she finds the symbol and BAM, Jonas is from the Order and tied up, let the yelling begin!  So was that her male side taking control?  Is Bree an XXY chromosome?  What are we to infer here?  And then Daniel seems willing to talk things through, look at different possibilities, be reasonable - what a woman!

Wow another video.  

My theory still holds.

Jonas called up the caretaker person over at their house.  He is wondering what he should do.  Next video will be Jonas (before end of today) he will be like whats wrong with you Bree.  Shortly after a Tachyon video disucssing the sibling bond will come forth.

The only way the three can get back together and forget any of this happened would be through a bond of blood.  Jonas and Daniel can make up because guys just do..  thats how we work.  Bree on the other hand will only trust Jonas if he is her brother.

There is a tie in as well here.  Jonas said his parents were lost along the 140th parralel if you assume that is Longitude then by definition that would have to be the 40th latitude which would put that very close to New Zealand..  I dont quite know how that ties it to bree but she lived there.

There definitely isn't anything suspicious about him taking off when he had the chance. Why would he stay somewhere where the people he trusted with everything are now convinced that he is a threat to them? That they tied him up tells him that he can't trust them anymore. If we have a single set of footprints leading away, Daniel must have cut the wrist bindings as a way of loosening Jonas's bonds. Even if he doesn't want to abandon them, I'm sure he would be too angry to have a coherent conversation with them and would need to get out of the cabin and get some perspective on things.

I agree with the people who think Jonas took the other camera to film his own side of this. Taking the keys but not the car tells me that he does intend to come back and talk things over with them, particularly if he wants to prove his innocence (which taking the camera seems to indicate). Bree HAS already taken off with one of his cars before, so he wouldn't want to strand himself up north either. As pissed off as he rightfully is for Bree's use of force, if he truly is a good guy, he would not want to abandon them to the Order. He would probably want to save them from themselves, for as long as he can ensure his own safety. There is currently a conflict between ensuring his own safety and protecting them, so he left for his own safety.

If Jonas is a little more implicated...

He may have other reasons for trying to strand them in the cabin. These could be good guy or bad guy angles.

I like the sibling angle, though Marcus's geographical speculations don't really make a lot of sense to me, since longitude spans from the north to the south pole and has no inherent latitudinal reference. Maybe he knows he is her brother and has to protect her, but still needs to blow off steam and decide how he's going to tell her finally.

The bad guy angle is pretty obvious - he is certain his cover has been blown and has gone to escape or get reinforcements. The only uncertain thing, in that case, is why the camera? Unless he thinks he can try to salvage his cover by acting like an innocent person would act.


Regardless of Jonas's disposition (good or evil), his intentions when leaving are not a guarantee of the outcome of his departure. He could have been intercepted by other forces (like Tachyon or the Order).

24 videos in 24 hours!

Yes, kind of like the TV Show 24, or some really unwise drinking games from college, you would post a video every hour on the hour for 24 hours, each one moving the story along in real time.

If this is as great as I imagine it could be, you could plan such an "event" periodically to generate a lot of excitement in the LG15 fan community, and at the same time, give the story some milestone points that everyone can start to anticipate.  End some big story threads, start some new ones.  A few big KAPOW! moments when everything changes.

Periods between these "milestones" may or may not be considered "seasons" - but I wouldn't want things to get too regular, just enhance anticipation... your storytelling friend.

What I think is ironic is how Daniel and Bree's roles have switched...when they initially met Jonas, Daniel wanted nothing to do with him and refused to trust him as far as he could throw him, and Bree was all for being open. Now, Daniel is defending Jonas and Bree is the one being suspicious of his motives. 

I can't wait for the next video to come out, I really want to know what Jonas is up to! It'll be an interesting video regardless of the author, at any rate.

I really want to see these actors in other roles other than LG15, I think they have really great potential.

I don't see Jonas having left the car meaning that he is with the Order.  If I had been tied up for a couple days by people I thought were my friends, in my own house, I'd be equally ticked off and scared.  

If I were trying to sneak out of a house where people were holding me hostage, I certainly wouldn't be starting up a car in the middle of the night and alerting them to my escape.   If they are really out in the middle of nowhere, they are bound to hear the car's ignition.

That's also why I don't think he is necessarily with the Order.  Assuming that they are being watched at the cabin, if he took the car then the Order would realize that something was up, at the very least that there was one less person in the house.  If he wanted to sneak out to get away from Bree and Daniel until the situation cooled off (which is what I think he is doing), then it would make sense to leave on foot, in the dark, so that neither Bree and Daniel nor anyone watching them would have an easy time of noticing.

Just my theory.

5.  Did you have a weapon at any time?  A gun?  A knife?  A taser?  Now it's armed robbery and intent.
6.  You set up trip wires?  With flares?  Flares are incindiary. Congratulations.  You put up potentially dangerous booby traps.  Flares are fire hazards.  Now you're not only in trouble with the cops, but the fire department too.  You're in the forest?  Now it's forestry service.  Is that a national forest?  You better hope not. You know, we hear way too much about the "four food groups": Proteins, dairy, grains, and fruits/vegetables.

Few people know about the fifth food group. It's called "Brown" and includes things like chocolate, doughnuts, cinnamon rolls, latte, and peanut butter. Even some non-obvious foods--like fried potatoes and gravy--are part of the Brown food group.

I have it on very good authority that maintaining optimum health requires two or more servings of Brown foods to be consumed every single day. So really, when you ate those mini eggs last night, you  were doing yourself a favor.

As for me, I just felt like getting a head start on a healthy day as soon as I woke up this morning. Of course a number of people fail to realise that chocolate is made from cocoa beans - being beans they therefore fall into the fruit/veg category... handily... this means you are eating your daily requirement of two very important food groups in one go - or looked upon in a different fashion... you can eat twice as much!

I, myself, am about to have a (very) late lunch or toast and marmite (vegemite) - also members of the brown food group. 

As for the Jonas issue... I've got a bagging feeling that it won't be as easy as evil/innocent... I think there are different levels of people in play here...

I already did, came up with the theory that Bree gets her new clothes by crapping them out of her ass.<br /><i>by Joe on 2007-03-03 14:32:24</i><br /><hr />I have followed the story long enough to think that it can go any which way; Jonas or any of the characters can be bad or not bad, depending on the whim of the creators and the comments of viewers. I really think at this point that it's their whim. Therefore anything I speculate can be wrong simply because we can't tell the future. If we were to deduce based on the story and what we know about the characters, we couldn't because there is no logic. 

Therefore I can only comment on certain stupidities and inconsistencies as they are presented. First, Bree finds one piece of card with a symbol and automatically suspects Jonas and arrests him. She has no proof and no right to do that to anyone. So what if there is a card? So what if they belonged to his parents? She is a hypocrite. Has she forgotten that her parents are/were members of the Order? She could have very well had loads of those pictures in her own home. Didn't she herself have a shrine for Aleister Crowley? Didn't she know about his history? Did she ever question that? Instead of doing more investigation, she goes berserk and ties up Jonas. How fanatical is that?

How long did she intend to hold Jonas? Until she found out everything from him? Then why was she angry with Daniel for having interrogated him? Isn't an interrogation the usual way of finding out information, besides torture? 

Then she blames Jonas for everything that had happened. Jonas was about 13 when his parents disappeared. He was a child. He is not responsible for his parents' actions and he does not have to speak for them now. Even if he were to be an Order member, the people she should blame are her parents. They involved her through their own actions. Her father's death is a consequence of choices that THEY made. He was not an innocent. Her parents are the ones who put her in danger. Her fate was decided the day they took her into their home.

The dumb girl who died after her father's death? No, she was still dumb, and dumber after that. Don't forget how she acted for two weeks after.

Jonas took the keys? It is HIS car. He didn't TAKE HIS keys -- he HAS his keys! They speak as if they had a right to the car! If I had a car in the mountains in the middle of nowhere, I would have my keys with me all the time. It's MY car. I own the keys. No one should accuse me of taking my own keys! And the same with the camera. Jonas had his own camera! He didn't take the camera -- as if he stole it from them! He took HIS camera!

I don't know why Jonas didn't just take the car and leave them there. So what if that alerted them to his escape? He would be gone and they would not have been able to go after him.

Bree and Daniel act as if they have every right to  everything that Jonas has done for them. Even if he were an Order member, he has not harmed them yet so they could just very well have run away and not be any worse off or better than they were two months ago. At least they didn't have to eat garbage during the last two months!

Bree wants to handle this herself? She can't because she is too stupid. She pushes Daniel around. She could not have gotten by without him, yet she acts as if this is all on her shoulders and that she has to prove something now. She is too stupid. I don't care if we have been told that she is smart. At the most she is book smart, but that is only repeating everything you read. That's regurgitation without critical thinking. She is not rational and has no wisdom.

Together she and Tachyon came up with a plan to save Daniel? I doubt she is capable of any planning. I bet Tachyon came up with the idea and she just wanted to take credit too.

Bree annoys me more and more. She has not done anything. She says one thing, but she doesn't follow through and what she says goes out the window. She contradicts herself. It's insulting my intelligence!

I would like for Jonas to be good because I like his character and everything he has done so far has been humanitarian. Even while he was held captive and interrogated, he had not acted unusual for a captive. He was scared, not evil like others have said. If things turn out otherwise, it is a whim and not anything anyone could have predicted, except that they were lucky with their guesses if they turn out to be right. The creators are out for dramatic effect. They don't read the comments for nothing and the comments will have consequences on the story.

Even if the creators made Jonas bad, my above comments still stand, because it does not excuse irrational and wrong behavior on the part of the protagonists. Bree acts like the world owes her something and she drags Daniel along on her journey of self pity. Why should we root for them when they fight all the time? I think you are being a little harsh on the Bree character... A number of people have commented that they wish she'd had more fight in her after her Dad's death. And to some extent I agree.

But she has lived a very sheltered life until now and she has to cope with her Dad dying, the truth that her parents aren't her real parents, that her religion wasn't quite as it seemed and that there are people following her. 

I quote you: 'Has she forgotten that her parents are/were members of the Order? She could have very well had loads of those pictures in her own home. Didnâ€™t she herself have a shrine for Aleister Crowley? Didnâ€™t she know about his history? Did she ever question that?'

Until now she didn't see the need to question anything. She held the blind faith that every child has for a time.... her parents were her greatest influence and gave her no reason to question anything... Why should she?

People she trusted before have turned out untrustworthy (we believe) such as Lucy, Gemma and the Deacons... and her Mum. She can't tell who is bad and who isn't and she also has normal teenage girl emotions to work through - and no-one to support her through them. If you remember she was still very much a child when we all first met her, an intelligent and bright one, but still very naive. If you remember how she acted after her first kiss etc... 

I think for this type of character, in an unusual situation it must be very hard to decide how she should react. She has to decide who she can trust and who she can't. LG15 is trying to be more realistic than a movie... she's bound to make wrong decisions... and the Jonas thing was probably an over reaction spurred on by irrational panic. 

We also have to remember that she knows more than we do - and her recent meeting with Tachyon probably didn't help.

As for Daniel - similar things... and for Jonas. I mean it's not everyday a group of young kids gets messed up in situations like this...

As for the car keys... if I saw the car was still there I'd expect to see the keys there too... they were probably surprised, and probably worried when they saw the car still there but no keys or Jonas... it opens up questions like - was he abducted... or did the people he works for rescue him... or did he just leave and is he now lost somewhere freezing to death.

I agree though that they seem to be taking Jonas for granted... although we don't see them off camera and they're not likely to film a soppy thankyou to Jonas when they have other things to worry about...

I agree Bree has alot to learn to handle herself... but that is part of what we watch for. Early on we all wanted Bree and Daniel to get together... because it would be a steep learning curve for them both I guess, but especially Bree. Now she is getting a very fast lesson in the need to grow up - and we are seeing her change. Yes she lacks the common sense of some... and she is no way street-wise... but she'll get there...

I'm quite sure that the Creators of LG15 are overjoyed to see so many people hanging on their every move and demanding new videos all the time.

But really, maybe it would be cool to say an honest and sincere "thank you" now and again if you're also going to do the all-caps shouting thing for a new video.

After all, the Creators don't sound as if they're raking in the dough hand over fist doing this right now. Sure, they're making a name for themselves and courting development deals and all, but I can guarantee all of you that producing this series is taking up a MASSIVE amount of their time and money.

I know they're doing this because they want to do it, but it's just not in my nature to take something for granted when I enjoy it as much as I have LG15. I'm sure that some of you are the same way. So while we're waiting for a new vid, how 'bout some thank-yous to the people who make this possible instead of shouted demands?

Still I've also written, produced, and directed experimental work for live audiences in "black box" style theatres. Considering all of that, what you (the Creators AND everyone else involved) have accomplished and ARE accomplishing here is amazing--and obviously hugely entertaining. THANKS! But anyway, it is kind of an interesting idea that Jonas might be a sibling, not to Bree, but to Cassie.  That would give him a connection to the Order (thus the symbol in his parent's cabin), and might explain why he invited Bree and Daniel to stay in the first place... he could be trying to get Cassie back, and maybe was planning to trade Bree or help influence Bree or something, but then his feelings got in the way, etc. ...

Thank you as well for your considerate response to my comments. My statements may have been harsh â€“ thanks for letting me know â€“ but they did not come suddenly. These were formed after months of having followed the story. My double apologies in advance to everyone for the long comments.

As you have been considerate enough to explain your point of view, I should respond and clarify what I have said. Since you quoted me, I will re-quote myself: â€˜Has she forgotten that her parents are/were members of the Order? She could have very well had loads of those pictures in her own home. Didnâ€™t she herself have a shrine for Aleister Crowley? Didnâ€™t she know about his history? Did she ever question that?â€™

By this I was not saying she should have questioned her parents or her beliefs, especially when she was still at home. I realize she was 16 after all. I myself believe in the faith I was raised in. What I was questioning was why she didnâ€™t use her background as a basis for reasoning when she found the card with the symbol in Jonasâ€™s parentsâ€™ cabin -- that perhaps there was a possible explanation given the possibility of a card like that also being in her own home. As has been seen repeatedly, Bree was acting like the pot calling the tea kettle black. Her parentsâ€™ affiliation did not mean she was Order herself; yet a possible clue to Jonasâ€™s parentsâ€™ affiliation, or not, meant that Jonas was automatically evil? Someone with her intelligence â€“ at least as it has been conveyed to us â€“ should be able to think it through before jumping to drastic conclusion. She has reached the age of reason after all.

I did not mind the innocent Bree before. I used to like Bree. I can see a reason or message for that Bree. I am all for young people staying pure and innocent. I have in fact considered all the things she has gone through: fatherâ€™s death, her true parentage etc. But I still think something is not quite right, especially for a main character. Even children know how to behave. They know what is right and what is wrong, even if at times they may be driven by reaction rather than reason.

Also, I donâ€™t think that Bree is that much more sheltered than anyone else her age. Most children up to early teen, letâ€™s say 12 to 13 years, have been sheltered to a large extent, raised to believe in their parentsâ€™ beliefs and values. What Bree lacked in social interaction with her peers, she gained in having been exposed to other cultures, much more so than most people in the U.S. They are not the same thing, but it makes up the difference in many ways, and gives one a different and more well-rounded perspective of the world. So yes, she may not have known what a date was, but she certainly knew how to live in community. I have lived in community so I can say that the latter is a much more valuable and more life-learning experience. Also, donâ€™t forget she had summer camp with her peers, and she had also been exposed to some pop culture through the movies that she watched with her father. So she wasnâ€™t completely sheltered. People speak about her inexperience, but only from one point of view; who is to say she is inexperienced in other ways? So the point is that she may have been sheltered from American teen culture, but she was not sheltered from exposure to other things that have given her a solid foundation, albeit different, whether it be communal life, religion or knowledge of science or cultures. As for exposure to death, no one can determine death whether they have been sheltered most of their life or grew up in a city ghetto. Death happens when it happens.

But letâ€™s say that her issues are as you say, not knowing whom to trust, having been betrayed by virtually everyone. So if she didnâ€™t trust Jonas, I would think the first thing for her to do is to run away. That would be reaction too. But to tie someone up? Not only is it criminal, it indicates a cold and calculated mind. Jonas had not attacked her, so she canâ€™t even call it self-defense. I will accept an initial panic stricken moment, but it sounds like he was tied up like an animal for two days. She should have calmed down some after two days, especially when he repeatedly said he didnâ€™t know and was pleading to be let free. They held captive someone who has fed and clothed them, as a prisoner in his own home, someone in whose house they have lived for over two months.

I donâ€™t really understand Breeâ€™s anger towards Jonas. I can understand the anger towards the Order in general. But if Jonas had indeed been a plant, she must remember that she willingly went to him. Yes, he offered to help them, but then so did some other LG15 viewers who were also strangers but had sympathy for her plight (meaning Jonas was not so unusual in his offer as a character since it was seen that real people would have offered to help too). Jonas never forced them to come, even if he be an Order member. She herself said she trusted him, even before she met him, for a reason for which she could not or would not explain to Daniel. She was practically slapping the camera in Danielâ€™s face in that parking lot when she was â€˜flying to Jonasâ€™s rescueâ€™ (â€œYour Decisionâ€). This was before her fatherâ€™s death and before he told her about her real parentage. So if an unknown situation has turned bad now, it is her own fault. She was warned but she didnâ€™t listen. Some of that anger should be aimed towards herself instead of at Daniel or Jonas.

At the least, Bree should be questioning her actions, acknowledging her wrongness for attacking someone without provocation. Yet she is in the right and everyone else is in the wrong. If she does not acknowledge her wrongness, then they should make her an evil character and that would be a justification.

Didnâ€™t she say she was bored and there was nothing to do? That sounds like a lot of free time to me. Anyway, I would not expect nor want to see a filmed â€˜thank youâ€™ to Jonas either. That is not necessary. But since the story is relayed to us through video logs, then there should be a reference to that since there are references to everything else; until something is referenced, directly or indirectly, we have no knowledge of it having taken place. And the reference does not have to be explicit, just implied. Gratitude can be relayed through small acts of kindness. So can repentance and forgiveness. 

Anyway, I understand what you are trying to say by the character struggling to grow up and mature, with pains and mistakes along the way. But one can struggle and still be kind, if one were kind to begin with. She forgot that she is a beggar, not a chooser. I would not mind as much if she had no fight in her and were spineless, or lacking common sense, as long as there are other redeeming qualities. A childlike Bree is not a problem; the problem is mixing that with heartlessness and acts of untrustworthiness, yet still trying to appeal to our senses by now shallow gestures of innocence and childlike facial expressions, and the next minute resorting to criminal acts. She is too childlike to plan and reason, yet not too childlike to steal a car and credit card or tie someone up like an animal? What is hard to take is the contradiction. If the creators intended her to be like Jekyll and Hyde, then fine and I hope that that will be revealed; but it seems they only make her smart where it is convenient in the plot. The Bree character right now is someone different than the Bree before. This has been going on for months now. She has become annoying and that makes it very difficult for us to sympathize with her. Even bad characters must have an appeal. Daniel, despite his being dragged along by Bree and annoying at that, is struggling with his conscience; he has some compassion for and gratitude to Jonas. And Jonas, in the midst of his anguish during the interrogation, never said â€œGet out of my houseâ€ which he had every reason to; instead he pleads, â€œLet me help you figure this out.â€ Bad motives or not, this is a character with substance. It makes us question and wonder. Bree does not have substance, only self-pity and selfishness. Daniel may be hanging on to his memory of the old Bree, but Jonas has no reason to help her; she was mean to him even when she believed him to be her friend. Therefore she has no excuse now.

Bree does not deserve her friends. Her friendship has been one of take and take, fleeting like the clouds expecting the sun to follow. I feel that this, among other things, must be addressed, and I would be very insulted and annoyed if the creators glossed over this in the interest of dramatic effect and surprise.
