If Jonas's parents were NOT in The Order, some reasons why they would travel a lot:

A. They were so rich they didn't care they had kids.

B. They traveled trying to find their daughter. Got too close to The Order and were killed or captured.

C. They were in negotiations with The Order to have their daughter returned, and they were killed or captured.

It just seems a little iffy to me that Jonas would have willingly sat down in a chair and let Bree and Daniel restrain him with zip ties, unless he was really really desperate to maintain his innocence. I dunno. We'll have to see where it goes.

P.S.-I think that Jackson Davis is a great actor. Again, without ammo, you can't interrogate someone. You have nothing to use against them, nothing to gauge their reactions by. It's a waste of time without research to back you up. Bree and Jonas enjoyed each other's company - maybe there is a reason they are drawn to each other ... they have some connection (whether sibling or something else, a genetic imperative of some kind...)  That would make Danielbeast just a friend ... and an obstacle.

I also think she could've done a lot more digging before tying him up, before he thinks she's onto him. Probed him a little. Then, if necessary, you go for the whole tying up thing. But after you tie him up, he's not going to be cooperative. Bree tipped her hand prematurely.

The problem I see here is that Jonas helped Bree escape from the Order. Maybe it was staged to make him seem heroic or trustworthy, but here's the flaw there: Tachyon's pretty canny. I don't see her falling for an Order set-up. And she hasn't dropped any negative info on Jonas that we know of. Plus, he was the one who confronted the Watcher. Maybe that was staged, too. But it just doesn't add up just yet. We need more information. (Hence the need for Bree to do some digging.)

S.A.R.A.H, I know what you're saying, but she's presented thus far as being unnaturally mature in a way, or at least incredibly intelligent. Even if she is meant to be more average, average people aren't usually interesting characters to watch. If they were, there'd be more people sitting on the couch watching TV and eating TV dinners on TV shows and less 20-somethings with crappy jobs living in NY lofts and wearing expensive clothes. You know what I mean? I think there's a fine line: you don't want her to be too unusual because then you can't identify with her. But she has to be unique, or there's no point to the show. So I think her intelligence is a key factor, and she also showed a lot of poise early on in the show. I'd just kind of like to see her return to that poise and pull herself together a little. Bree's a neat character, but she's been unhinged too long for my tastes. I don't mind this plotline... if it goes somewhere useful. 
Maybe I'm thinking just to my tastes. :P I think there's probably a crowd here that don't mind Bree being more true to the average 16 year-old. There is something up with Daniel.  I think the point of having him kidnapped goes further then just to introduce Tachyon to this part of the plotline.  The past few vids, I've half been expecting him to show his brainwashedness and screw everything up.  But Bree did that right and proper all by herself.

Remember how Bree was taken from her birth parents to be put into a controlled environment/family within the order?  

We figured that the symbols represent different branches/ranks of the order.  The OpAphid/Watcher symbol is one branch.  What if...the "two-legged" symbol represents a lower-level of the order...perhaps representing the families that the girls are taken from.....Families with different disciplines and depth into the order.

This type of theory can lead to the Jonas/Bree sibling thing....not sure if I want to go there though...

He was a plant to lure Daniel &amp; Bree. But then he became friends with them, because he isn't such a bad guy and he has no family or other friends. So then he begins to actually protect them against the Order, but no more after what they just did to them. Jonas acts all crazy, saying that now he hates everyone and everything. He hates the Order, he hates Bree &amp; Daniel, etc.

3. Final video is a news clip. Reporter comes on for the evening news and says, "three teens were found dead in a house at a remote location. two teens were murdered (referring to bree &amp; jonas)by the third (jonas). the third teen then committed suicide." The clip could show photographs of bree, jonas, and daniel like they always show on the news when someone dies. Then there could be footage of a helicopter from above the house showing the bodies being carried out on stretchers, bodies are covered with white sheets of course. Police are all around, the whole deal.

I just think that she has decided Jonas is part of the Order like Gemma was, so she is thinking over what to do next. Maybe Bree's last video was a test to see whether the Order shows up to save Jonas (and stop him from giving secrets away).  If the Order knows where the cabin is and comes running, that means Jonas was a traitor all along ... so she is forcing their hand... and she knows they don't want to hurt her (for some reason).

It would be really dramatic at this point if the Order goons show up at the cabin while Jonas is still tied up, and Daniel and Bree have to escape, deciding at the last second whether to free Jonas or just leave him there...

That would be cool if the Order showed up and Daniel &amp; Bree had to quickly decide to either untie Jonas or leave him. Then the next video shows that they did untie Jonas. And although what they're doing to Jonas is absolutely horrible and ridiculous, I think he'll forgive them because Jonas is such a nice and sensitive guy. So it seems like an innocent person would try and reason with their captors and try to explain and justify the symbol.  Seems like an innocent Jonas would be trying to make a case for himself, not going bat-shit-crazy like he just did.

But if he were someone in the Order and was trying to play the role of the innocent person, then it seems like he would try to act normal and be prepared to make a case for his innocence. 

But instead he goes straight to violent yelling and demands.  So either he's a random guy with a bad temper and a serious need to be in control, or he's in the Order and feels like he has some authority to control things.  He was so forceful in this video, that it makes me lean towards thinking he's part of the Order.

I hope he's innocent though- apparently a bit unstable- but still innocent.  (And IMO angry Jonas was WAY to scary to be hot. In 0131 "Rescuing Daniel," Bree tells us there are some things she cannot tell us, but that Tachyon contacted her after the weird Daniel OpAphid "they have spin art" video, and they planned the rescue together.  Bree is excited by the success and the adventure, and expresses a common bond with Tachyon, since she knows what it is like growing up as a girl in an Order household (like Bree).  Then at the end of this video, Bree says that Tachyon left her an encrypted disc, and would contact her when the time was right with instructions on how to decrypt it.

In 0137 "Jonas Sucks" Daniel finds the package from Tachyon with the clue for the password, and asks "Why is she making me jump through hoops?" (to read the encrypted disc).  Good question.

In 0140 "How Dumb Am I?" Bree shows us the art thing with the symbol matching one of the ones in the (now decrypted) file, and has concluded Jonas has betrayed her, announcing to the world that she has him tied up and is going to get answers from him.

We know that Jonas admitted the "artwork" thing had been around for a long time (so, if true, it was not just recently planted or created).

I'm just questioning a lot of things about who Tachyon is, and how she is working with or manipulating Bree to win her trust.  

Why the encryption and package to decode the disc?  Was this meant to be a puzzle that a Nancy Drew expert would figure out, but others might take longer?  Why the mysterious contents of the disc - where did the images come from?  Did Tachyon know Bree would find one of the same symbols at Jonas' cabin, or was that another coincidence? 

How did the Order find out where Jonas' old house was?  (which is what sent them running for the lake cabin)

And why doesn't Bree want to call Tachyon right now? Every personality is different I guess, but... I am usually a really mild-mannered guy. It takes a lot to get me PO'd, but once I'm there I am really, REALLY there.

If I had provided food and shelter and safety and money for two people who then tied me to a chair, kept me prisoner in a locked room, and interrogated me on camera in my OWN house, I can GUARANTEE I'd be a HELL of a lot more freakishly angry than Jonas in this vid. The acting here is GREAT for the character, don't get me wrong; it's just that I know if I'd been betrayed like that, chances are good that I would lose it. That chair and most of that room would be splinters in short order though I might break a bone or two to do it. And when I got out, well...Daniel and Bree would do well to get far, far, far away until I'd calmed down enough to think twice before I jumped into that SUV and plowed through walls to get to them.

I have 2 theories after watching this video.

A.)  Perhaps the whole point of the ceremony that has been set up for Bree is to get her to "destroy," which is the pinnacle of the OPAPHID philosophy.  Perhaps there truly is no "ceremony" in the traditional sense of the word, but the Order has set up her entire life as a training to get her to become the ultimate assassin/psychopath, and this is the first real step she has taken towards it.  Jonas' asking "are you going to kill me?" is a legitimate question if it is directed towards Bree.

When she kills of her own free will, she will have officially joined the Order and even though she will then realize the whole "chasing them down" concept was all part of the farce involved in the training, the damage will be done and she will not be able to turn back--she will become a true OpAphid agent.

B.)  Perhaps Bree has been a member of the Order all this time and the two boys don't realize it.

I'm leaning more towards A, it fits with the whole "they want me to do the Ceremony of my own free will" not realizing that destroying the lives of these two boys proves she is full swing into the ceremony already.

Daniel could have always worked for the order, and he's really creepy now, like really really creepy since the order 'kidnapped' him. But it doesn't make sense that Daniel is working for the Order, He has stuck with Bree all this time, living on the streets etc, he even got sick of it and went home, something any normal person would do, to find that his parents couldn't care less, which doesn't surprise me, lots of kids have parents that don't care. So the order probably have brain washed him or done something to him.

If Daniel's not working for the order, Jonas is, or his parents were. Or even better, they both are. Jonas has always been a little creepy, living on his own, in a big house with lots of money and a strange story about his parents lost at sea. He offers these kids he's seen on you tube to stay with him, he wants to 'help them out' or whatever. Its a little strange. 


Also when he was talking about the way he was brought up, we have no idea how they bring up the boys in her religion, only the girls. So what he said could be load of rubbish, Like in most religions boys are favoured above girls so maybe the boys are allowed to do what they want and girls have a harder up bringing. 

Jonas looks really really pissed that he's tied up in a chair, which is normal really; I'd be pissed off if I was tied up in a chair. He looks really evil though, like if he were let out he'd probably kill Daniel. 

Gemma is supposedly 'dead'. Maybe she was trying to help them out a little, because she knew she was going die anyway. She told them not to go to Jonas. anyway bree comes in and shes like, what the hell, and does her screechy voice yelling thing she always does with daniel and accuses him of being in the order because he free'd jonas.

either bree trys to take off on her own or she may just flip and start to attack them. I dont see her as much of a fighter but she may need to be restrained.

hence the tables are turned and bree is the one being held captive as they try and talk some reason into her.

Finally tachyon posts a video, either explaining the symbol, the order do the whole raid thing ont he cabin with previously mentioned horror movie style( I'm gonna keep hoping you do this one ) and jonas and daniel prove themselves to bree by fighting back the watchers or doing something to help her escape, or I guess Opaphid can just mauk them in her next vid.

I'm sticking with my jonas is innocent, and is just having some very lousy house guests theory. So I'm not theorizing down that road.

Daniel keeps disappearing- once he just abandoned bree and went home, the next time he was "kidnapped"? Sure. Daniel's supposed to be the smart one, the cautious one-what if the whole "Bree I love you so much I have to drink myself into oblivion.." thing was a ploy? what if it was the only way the order could get in touch with him?

And Jonas- on his cellphone all the time? Even though he knows they can use that to trace him? And that symbol in his house?

There's only two explanations for that-

It's interesting that Bree is now strong enough to dominate Daniel - is she evolving to the leader the Order intended her to be, but will be working against them instead like Tachyon?

We got swearing, we got intensity, and we got our interogation scene. But we also got questions to alot of answers.

If Jonas was apart of the Order, or his parents were, wouldn't he have been raised like Bree. DOesn't seem much like Bree to me. i think Bree's paranoia of the world is becoming a bit to much. Daniel and Jonas are going to side against her, well I think anyway. Maybe they'll tie HER down until she calms down.

ANYWAY

There is alot of different reasons why the symbol is in the house. Hell they could have picked it up on their journies, or maybe they were just researchers for the order. Who knows.

This was a very strong video - great job with the acting/editing ... but it does raise the thought that maybe a little warning on the front end would be good for the subset of viewers who might be watching at home with kids etc.

I wouldn't want the show to compromise or walk on eggshells with the titles and content, but some kind of blanket warning at the top of the page that some videos may contain violence, adult themes or language, etc, may be appropriate.

Also, I am ready for the next video and for Gemma vs. Bree Kung-Fu fighting now.

The fact that you don't like swearing is nothing that I was trying to assail, really--you are WELL within your rights to hold that opinion, and I would never claim otherwise.

All I was trying to do was to point out that from a certain adult point of view, such opinions are irrational. Because ultimately, my personal opinion is that it would have been a shame to make the script for this episode artificial-feeling or unintentionally hilarious in an attempt to please those who don't like swearing...and/or those who have 4 year olds with them in the room while they watch (for example).

And don't get me wrong: I'm using the reasons you gave, but I'm not trying for a personal attack here. I guess overall, I really do think you are welcome to your opinion, but I would not want a single episode altered because some audience members hold such an opinion. It's so hard to tell from scripted acting(quite good acting by the way) why some questions were not answered but I am leaning towards editing by Daniel.

The weird sequences of colour shifted/audio altered close ups of Jonas are too obvious a way to make him look evil.

Apart from him being terribly loud and mildy irritating, he has a point.  The Order's resources are pretty numerous, from what I've heard.  Of course they could easily find out where Bree and the boys are.  They could have easily set up Jonas in order to split up the group and make it easier for them to get to Bree.  Either that OR the Order knows where they are because Jonas's parents OR his nanny were members.

I don't buy the whole "lost at sea" thing. If anything, his parents ARE still alive and felt that they never wanted him to be apart of what they were doing because of how bad it's gotten. So they disappeared. Leaving him with all the money and resources that he needs. I mean how the heck is he able to constantly pay for the house bills, car bills.. phone bills... with no job. He doesn't know how he gets it, he just knows that he does. He's probably the heir to The Order throne, but doesn't even know it...

Although I have to wonder why he would run outside on foot in the snow, unless he had a sanctuary or someone else he is tied to where he can be safe. They are so secluded, Bree sounds really shady lately. If Jonas was part of the Order and has fooled them (and for the most part us.) for so long would someone that clever leave a symbol around to be found. Perhaps his parents were in the order but completely left him out of it.  He isn't the "Chosen one" like Bree is, which makes sense why they were never strict with him.
Or perhaps this was a complete set up that Jonas doesn't know about, like maybe his parents and Bree's parents agreed that he would somehow get involved in her life after they are both orphans.
Or perhaps, has anyone ever wondered that Jonas could be getting framed?  Maybe someone from the order placed that symbol there before they got there, since they know where Jonas lives, they probably knew about that other house since they are so good at tracking down information.
They want Bree to think Jonas is part of the order so she'll abandon him and have no place to go.

If Jonas were part of the order, obviously he's done a terrible job of not letting Bree figure it out.

Another possibility is that Jonas is part of the order but has developed feelings for Bree and doesn't really want to go along with it.  But that's too cheesey.
