And now we are at depression. Since we only saw Bree's dad three times, and you can't really count the first time because it was just his legs. Foosball would not motivate me to forget personal tragedy. If this were a novel or a movie or a television show, they'd skip forward several weeks in time, but this format is real-time, so this becomes an issue. There's a certain pacing you see in most TV shows where something really vital happens and the pace picks up to reflect the increased tension in the story. Here, we've had them go on the run and it picked up somewhat. Going to Jonas'... that didn't really pick up. It was a lot of pouting and Jonas being all Martha Stewart and baking Bree cookies... And now her dad dies... and we're back to the trying to cheer Bree up plot line with an added dose of male bonding. I love this show. I've enjoyed it immensely. I just want a little more information. I think there's a good balance out there between allowing Bree to grieve realistically and giving a little more information.
