Many natural ribozymes catalyze either their own cleavage or the cleavage of other RNAs, but they have also been found to catalyze the aminotransferase activity of the ribosome. Investigators studying the origin of life have produced ribozymes in the laboratory that are capable of catalyzing their own synthesis under very specific conditions. huh? by eyeswideopen on 2006-12-20 14:28:08 : D by Schreiber on 2006-12-20 14:28:13 jeeeeeej 63th!!!!!!!!!! by Lizzy on 2006-12-20 14:28:34 ATLEAST IM IN THE TOP 100! lol....whatev by breakinahabit05 on 2006-12-20 14:28:50 or 67th1!!!!!! by Lizzy on 2006-12-20 14:28:57 yea it was only put under daniel because "S" comes before "U" by sydney on 2006-12-20 14:29:16 Ok, some conjecture: the double helix, if a section were chopped off, looks something like the symbol on the box. by krig on 2006-12-20 14:30:01 Pointless... by jillian on 2006-12-20 14:30:09 #18 Holly-- NOoooooooooooo. Most people know what DNA is... RNA is basically half of a DNA double helix. If you imagine DNA as a ladder, there are two sides and "rungs" between them that are the actual proteins of the coil. If you divide DNA in half so you have just one side and half of the rungs, that's basically RNA. Because half is left open, RNA can combine with other enzymes (=chemical reaction; =catalyst). Hope that helps. by Perky on 2006-12-20 14:36:47 Is Jonas stupid enough to think that talking about random facts about "missing persons not being classified as missing for weeks" would not be something that Bree would want to talk about with her Parents missing? And it's not even 48 hours if there's reason to believe that a particular person would not have just taken off. For example, if you have a child and you abandon your child with no history of so doing, the police may reasonably suspect that you have run across foul play. Although if you're known to take off, they won't rush to save you. Given what ahppened to Bree's parents, they'd probably start investigating. Ribozymes often have divalent metal ions such as Mg2+ as cofactors." by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 15:18:10 She seemed a bit taken aback when Jonas said Powell. Do we know if she told him about that? Did she say Ribozymes or Ribosomes? by gnome on 2006-12-20 15:39:17 #138 - because guys are dumb, and say stupid things without realising that it was a stupid thing to say ;) either that, or he's trying to imply that because the police dont classify someone as missing for a few weeks, there is a possibility that they will show up, because they arent "missing" yet. by sonieee on 2006-12-20 15:41:36 kimmy - I had an idea. Now that Gemma was confirmed evil, that from now on at the end of her posts she would reply to one or maybe two of the shitty comments that were made about her in previous posts. You know really campy, or scarcastic. I think it would be so funny. by voyboy on 2006-12-20 15:41:58 I think the wrong numbering of the vids is just an accident. Happens quite easily when you're in a hurry to stop the withdrawal symptoms of your fans. :) by Dream on 2006-12-20 15:43:09 I think Jonas is wrong about it taking weeks to declare someone missing. I think it only takes 24 or 48 hours to file a missing persons report (unless cop shows have failed me!) by gnome on 2006-12-20 15:44:45 is it just me or does Jonas look wired when the video begins? His pupils kinda look dilated. by gnome on 2006-12-20 15:45:42 Okay, so Jonas is either weird, or his missing person's thing is a clue since wikipedia says this "A common misconception is that a person must be absent for 72 hours before being legally classed as missing, but this is rarely the case; in instances where there is evidence of violence or of an unusual absence, law enforcement agencies often stress the importance of beginning an investigation promptly. In most common law jurisdictions a missing person can be declared dead in absentia (or "legally dead") after seven years." by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 15:46:25 And we got a MSN chat with REBEL. Wow! sydney, you around? by Dream on 2006-12-20 15:46:29 I want to see her on her stealthy missions, like alias.. come on creators, do a gemma alias spinoff! by GoodGollyItsHolly on 2006-12-20 15:46:45 #23 JoAnnP38: You know I didn't mean it... you know you're special to me. Don't let this tear us apart, JoAnn... don't let this be the end.... by Jackie on 2006-12-20 15:48:29 #75 Evan: I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing. Jonas = not the smartest banana in the bunch. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 15:48:44 Kimmy #157 Yeah, because if they didn't start investigating right away, we wouldn't have crime shows like "Without a Trace"! by krig on 2006-12-20 15:50:25 Voyboy--I would love that :) She should start telling really long, self-centered stories about how hard it is to keep all her lies straight and find the right blue "you can trust me" outfit by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 15:50:55 Bree's obviously missing Daniel. She made a joke that I'm sure Jonas didn't get or find funny, and Bree has no idea what Jonas' skating references were about, and Bree said Daniel would've laughed. They miss each other. She misses his intellect... even though I always got the impression that he didn't really care much about her Ms. Smarty Pants jargon anyway. Point is, Daniel's smarts and ability to relate to Bree on a deeper level than Jonas is only going to mean something for so long. Especially with the two of them trapped in a house together, bored as hell and Jonas wearing those tight damn shirts. Daniel, you better do something about this. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 15:51:19 Sonjee/Gnome: Yes, guys do say dumb things but I think it was more then dumb...it was hurtful and in poor taste. I mean, Daniel and Bree are running for their lives! Gee, thanks for reminding Bree JonASS. I think she forgot! :P Also, I agree with Gome. I think its 24hrs when a child is missing and 48hrs for an adult to be classified as missing. Although when a kid is missing the police take it seriously very early. VoyBoy: Of course I'm right! Thanks for noticing and kudos for us being so smart! :) by SuzyQS on 2006-12-20 15:52:13 Hey good point SuzyQ maybe the videos being "Out of Order" is a clue to Bree's dad. by gnome on 2006-12-20 15:54:13 156 gnome--Jonas's pupils look fine to me, but he's always seemed like one of those guys constantly smoking up in his freshman dorm room (or in this case, giant mansion) 161 krig--Hehe, we totally have television to thank for the short wait 'til investigations start. Anyways, I also agree about JonAss's eyes. I have always maintained that I think he looks like he's continually on drugs. Plus, ska8t boarders aren't exactly famous for their healthy drug-free lifstyle's... :P by SuzyQS on 2006-12-20 15:58:22 Holy damn, Sydney. Your teeth are whiter than your shirt! wtf do you do. Because seriously, I use tons of whitening products and my teeth are WHITE, but hot damn. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 15:58:39 Idea--Maybe Jonas was trying to tell us that it's not definate that Bree's parents were actually abducted. I know some other people have said that it looked like they might have gotten in the car willingly. So maybe it LOOKS like they went missing/were kidnapped, but it's too soon to call it yet until we know more. Also, was that letter in P. Monkey specifically from Bree's mom? Maybe her dad has closer ties to the order/is in on it and the mom is less so...Why did he want to meet Bree alone? by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 16:00:24 i definately think that thing at the beginning with jonas is important...its so...random by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:00:28 or maybe kimmy, her MOM has ties, its always been hinted at that the mom wore the pants in the house...so maybe brees dad is trying to escape the order as well? (and he was roped into it by the mother after they met) by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:03:10 #172 Kimmy: Mmhm, and her father WAS the one giving her the shots. And it turns out he probably knew what he was injecting her with, as he's somewhat of an expert on biology and had pamphlets that I assume were to what was being given to Bree. I'm thinking Daddy's in on it. Could be why he was always keeping such a close eye on Bree and Daniel too. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:03:23 174 sydney: Didn't Bree say, when she wanted to go to that party with Daniel, that her mom was usually the more lenient one? by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:04:04 Maybe her parents are tricking her into the ceremony by pretending to have been kidnapped. by gnome on 2006-12-20 16:04:40 Ooh my gosh. Jonas is great. Seriously. I like Bree and Jonas together they are soo cute. by Maniacsflower on 2006-12-20 16:05:26 #177 gnome: But wouldn't that just make Bree even more sure that The Order's bad and may put her into danger? by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:05:47 this video made me realize how cute Jonas is. And they basically had him teach her skate so they can be in a video together because everyones been asking for that. and the whole "powell" thing. by JaneyLane on 2006-12-20 16:05:53 Yes. Put her into danger. Not in. Into. Like a bag. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:06:30 #170 SuzyQ - yeah Jonas has set of my 'drug-dar' a couple of times (which works a hell of a lot more than my gay-dar). Personally I think he's on blow (he's rich, he can afford it). by gnome on 2006-12-20 16:06:59 Creators: I was really happy to see them together. Thank you! More, please! by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:07:12 hey sydney, I got so much information to take in and comments to read that I kind of forgot what I wanted to ask. Anyway, thanks for recording the chat and putting it on the REBEL page. Any ideas who the high school ghost could be? Any ideas how to find out the name? Cause expecting a video under her name is all nice but if we don't know who she is she better post it here and not on YouTube or we won't ever find it. Unless of course Gemma is the high-school ghost. I'm definitely expecting a video under her name soon... by Dream on 2006-12-20 16:07:56 i totally get what u all are saying...uve convinced me lol that sounds rly plausible that her dads getting her to meet him so she goes to the ceremony...the only question is, if hes in on it, why al the secrecy? by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:08:42 yea im thinking that rebel might be gemma dream. I went and read all the comments from REBEL and it really makes sense. by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:10:04 178 For sure. I think that he should like, kiss her or something along the lines of that, in a video, and then daniel should show the beasty side of him, and rush on over to Jonas's house, and realize that Jonas is much stronger and cuter than he. Hah. that would be entertaining. by JaneyLane on 2006-12-20 16:10:52 and thanks jackie! lol i dont realy do anything special...however trident white helps lol...but ive always had just naturally white teeth for some reason :-D by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:12:24 Maybe the creators are hinting the series will end by January 1st with 0101 twice. Some have been asking for clues when its going to end. Or maybe they are going to go on hiatus for the holidays and that's when it will resume. by gnome on 2006-12-20 16:13:44 highest ever! lol by loveyamuchqt on 2006-12-20 16:14:14 This whole thing is starting to sound like a conversation I had some time ago regarding dreams. Dreams are theoretically a way to keep the brain occupied. Our brain throws random thoughts out and tries to organize them into trains of thought because that is what its purpose is, to rationalize randomness. This causes the weirdness we see in our dreams. If you take random images or "clues" and throw them out there on the internet via video. A group of people forms to rationalize them and try to bring meaning. If you then incorporate those thoughts and throw them back out there. You have an internet dream. It would be very cool if we were part of an internet dream of sorts that is being developed from our own randomness and communal knowledge and different thoughts on things. Okay that said pass me the slurpee I am due for another hit before I get even more philosophical. Also, I forgot, FFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!111111 by Toad on 2006-12-20 16:14:26 I remember Bree's mom sounded fiesty in that "how they met" video, does anyone remember which video says that she's the one who got the dad into the religion in the first place? I'm more suspicious of Bree's dad because a.) he was a doctor and/or medical researcher, but still injected his daughter with some chemical (and either didn't bother asking what was in it, or knew and lied about it) b.) he worked at a company whose logo may have connections to the Order c.) he seemed to be the one who really wanted Daniel to make that videotape of the camp play d.) I think he's the one who yelled at Bree for breaking her "purity pledge" or bond or something which would mess up the ceremony But mostly I'm suspicious of him because that phone message just sounded so creepy! She did mention NASA in this video. I searched ribozymes but found nothing. Newton got a bunch of results but i couldnt tell if there was anything worth reading. by sydney on 2006-12-20 16:23:26 OK I've hear a lot of ppl talk about this 'purity pledge' - but has it actually ever been mentioned by Bree in the videos or is just been speculated, given this series is abouts a young girl talking part into some mystery religion ceremony? by gnome on 2006-12-20 16:23:45 y is this one before the daniel one when it came out later? by Cayla18 on 2006-12-20 16:24:01 193.Kimmy, Thanks, I even spell checked it this time.:-) by Toad on 2006-12-20 16:24:03 Jackie--I think there are links if you look through this forum thread. http://www.lonelygirl15.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4210 We know it's canon because the original number they called was given out in Bree's "phone home" video. It was an odd message from a dry cleaner's. Using the numbers in the dry cleaner's message, people came up with a second phone number which led to a message from Bree's dad. by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 16:25:00 #202 - gnome, I believe it's just speculation. Something that's canon is a real part of the fictional universe Bree lives in. Something that isn't canon is just fan created fiction. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 16:31:23 HSA has a website? Where is it? To be honest (and I'm sorry if whoever posts them is reading this), I don't usally watch them all the way through. I assumed they were someone's own fanfic/part of some game I wasn't playing by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 16:32:13 I like the touch of Jonas' slightly different editing style. For what it's worth, I think this is some of the "tying together of clues" that the Creators promised us a couple of weeks ago. We're going to see a lot of references that we vaguely recognize... and I think gemmas flatmate was right when (I'm pretty sure she said) we should go back and review the earlier vids. Personally, I'm trying to postpone that inevitable until next week, but I'm thinking there were missed clues relating to science, Bree's dad, the Order/Ceremony/shots and other miscellaneous things that would help us now. by Perky on 2006-12-20 16:44:09 Sorry Dream! I'm not exactly up on java applets. Boyf is but he's away on business till tomorrow! I could ask him when he gets back. Is there anywhere I can get up to speed on this? by Toad on 2006-12-20 16:57:10 #233 Flatmate: I found this on net: Lisgar Collegiate Institute Another hotspot for paranormal activity in Centretown is Lisgar Collegiate at 29 Lisgar St. Built in 1843 as a grammar school, the building’s architecture is straight out of the Victorian Era, giving it the stereotypical haunted-house look. The fourth floor, which once served as a shooting range for cadets, is said to be haunted by two ghosts. One is believed to be the spirit of a girl who died when a sheet of ice fell off the steeply slanted roofs and crushed her. Her accompanying spirit is believed to be that of a custodian who died in the 1940s while trying to remove snow and ice from the roofs to prevent a repeat of the accident that killed the girl. Eerie feelings and rumours of the haunting led the fourth floor of the school to be closed off. But that didn’t prevent Lisgar students from locking new students in the range as an initiation tactic. http://www.thefulcrum.ca/view.php?aid=38801 Nothing in the book I have that I can find (stupid thing doesn't have an index) by gnome on 2006-12-20 16:57:16 Oh btw we found some ghosts in Toronto, too. I will see what he can do! xx by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-20 16:59:59 GF and Dream I am positive someone who gets personal messages from REBEL actually specified Toronto after we found as much as we could about Ontario, a week to ten days ago. Bones told us that "people often think the capital is Toronto, but it is in fact Ottawa." I'm not sure about Rebel=Gemma, but I think Dream you and I talked about this before, it has possibilities. I have no idea at all where Canada came from in this thing... Toronto OR Ottawa. The Rebel messages started after Gemma's freak-out, when we assume she was forced to cooperate with the "enemy." Sorry, I refuse to learn Java. I refuse to learn anything more about computers than I already know, because once people know you can do it, they come calling for troubleshooting and whatnot. Bleh. by Perky on 2006-12-20 17:00:56 Kimmy - Yah! that along with a reference to a mean fan. ie: after her vlog say something like: "oh and by the way gemmahater222, funny how you think you know what a real english accent sounds like when you have never left that trailer park in shawnee oklahoma... anyway...pip pip....cheerio...(bitchy smirk, and end vid). by voyboy on 2006-12-20 17:01:02 Thanks gnome! a nameless ghost! Seems sorta wrong (I know I am overthinking this). pip pip cheerio :) by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 17:08:13 I think its fanfic (probably from a Canadian fan) - what would Ottawa have to do with our story set in Cali? by gnome on 2006-12-20 17:10:00 Dream, I think this is part of the "tying things together"... Rebel and Gemma will tie together and we will finally be told what the constant ice referencing means, the Order/Tachyon/Brother thing will tie together... I don't know about you, but I am feeling some satisfaction with the videos lately. Like we really are moving in a somewhat planned direction. by Perky on 2006-12-20 17:11:02 gnome, I don't think it's Canadian fanfic... A Canadian would have known that Toronto is not the capital of Canada. Cause rebel told us about her school ghost haunting the floors of her high-school in "the capital of Canada" first and then told someone the same about "Toronto". by Dream on 2006-12-20 17:12:04 Yeah most non-Canadians assume Toronto is the capital. by gnome on 2006-12-20 17:13:43 Well Toronto is a capital - the provincial capital of Ontario. Did Rebel say national capital or just capital? by gnome on 2006-12-20 17:14:36 cheers gnome! been there already! (not literally of course but the wiki page you refer to!) I think as so much fanfic is unrealiable someone may have made a mistake and the capital clue was meant to be for Toronto not Ottawa...(and after I did so much meeping research too!!! arrgh!) by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-20 17:14:58 hehe, looked up the definition of the song for this video's title... neophilia - /nee"oh-fil"-ee-*/ The trait of being excited and pleased by novelty. Common among most hackers, SF fans, and members of several other connected leading-edge subcultures, including the pro-technology "Whole Earth" wing of the ecology movement, space activists, many members of Mensa, and the Discordian/neo-pagan underground. All these groups overlap heavily and (where evidence is available) seem to share characteristic hacker tropisms for science fiction, music, and oriental food. The opposite tendency is "neophobia". Oooh, are we a leading-edge subculture? by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 17:15:32 Perky, yes, I think - I hope the same. The videos definitely seem to be moving towards some solutions, what with the message from Bree's father and Daniel finding the OpAphid cameras and now Bree (hopefully) sending a message back to her father. In the winter, an ice bridge is maintained at the same spot. by Dream on 2006-12-20 17:28:08 Hokay, so after watching these last couple videos and think back on the series, I'm starting to think that bree's parents are not in a "religious group" but are part of some strange scientific experiment, perhaps the order's religious facade is jsut a front for crazy genetics experiments or cloning or whatnot. The mention of bree's father's occupation in the last video and the mention of ribozymes made me think of cloning or something else equally sci-fi. I thought about Bree's shots and how they were administered by her father, and how bree's parents allowed camera's (or conveniently didn't notice them) in their daughters room. I doubt highly that they were set up after the whole running away thing. I've also been thinking about the video where bree gets caught sneaking out by her father who becomes very angry because she has violated her purity bond or something. Since Bree's father is such a "man of science" it would make less sense for him to be a highly religious man upset about his daughter sullying herself before some kind of higher power and more sense for him to be a creepy scientist who was upset that bree's antics might have compromised their "experiment" a.k.a. her. Sorry this was just craziness and I apologize. by Scooter on 2006-12-20 17:28:30 The link on Lucys pc leads to Alberta Canada. I know nothing of Canada! I apologise to all Canadians! Labs. Basically back in the video (name?) where bree practices her enochian letters, i made a bit of a...discovery. Someone translated those letters to be CRSA. I happened to be on google earth, and since google itself didn't give me any good results, i "google-earthed 'crsa'". The only location i got in southern california was Jet. Propulsion Laboratory. I posted a comment about it, but honestly thought it meant nothing. Then someone else (sry for lack of credit)did a little research on Jet Pro. Labs and discovered one of its founders, Jack Parsons, was an occultist, personally KNEW crowley, and actually was appointed as head of the Agape Lodge, which is the California sect of the O.T.O http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Parsons by sydney on 2006-12-20 17:49:09 *sulking* In the last video "undisclosed location", I mentioned the connection between the occult and the double -helix, also the symbology of the broken connection. But then the Deacons said I was gullible and silly on post #100 and turned me into a Llama... *meep* by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 17:49:16 I mean post #300. And even though I'm not a LLama anymore, I'm an Andesian Guinea Pig with a poking stick for the keyboard...*meep* *still sulking* by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 17:51:13 I'll post it again, but it'll just be called silly again... Actually, the first thought I had was to what extent this symbol had any meaning to Bree, or more importantly, Bree’s parents and the occult. It’s an interesting connection, actually. The infinity symbol itself is unremarkable. It has been depicted in many occult and mathmatical texts. One of the more interesting ones is the infinty symbol depicted as serpents swallowing their own tail or a double ouroboros . Bree’s Dad is also probally familiar with the Caduceus, or medical staff, also depicted serpents in forming a (DNA)? loop of infinity symbols, but the head face each other and are not joined. Why? Because that symbol has direct ties to the ancient belief of ALTERED or Divine genetic code, dating back to ancient Babylonian and Biblical times. Many occult societies (including the Freemasons) believe that man’s DNA has been altered, the infinity loop broken and imbedded with divine knowledge. One of the primary believers of this notion was Aleister Crowley. One of his favorite passages in the Bible is Ezekiel 28:3-15. “Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret they can hide from you…You have been in Eden the garden of God…You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so…you were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.†These were the words of Satan onto man, basically explaining to him that the key to ETERANL LIFe was hidden in his genome. Many Freemasons believe that only the very wise have known for centuries that our DNA has been altered. So the question remains: Who or what does either Bree’s parents or the Order think she is and what key does she hold? by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 17:53:06 I hate being a Guinea Pig *meep* by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 17:53:36 well i'm going to put down the L-crackpipe for awhile. My head is starting to hurt! Are there any X-Files fans in here? Scooter's theory and the talk about Alberta reminded me of that episode of X-Files in which Mulder and Scully found a farm full of clones somewhere in the middle of Alberta (I think it was that province - I know it was Canada - that's something a Canadian remembers!) by gnome on 2006-12-20 17:53:49 sydney--Ohhhh, that is an interesting connection...Could be a coincidence, but how many founds of engineering-type companies are also members of the occult and hung out with Crowley? WatchingOne--I was hoping you'd repost what you said about the DNA thing here...... by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 17:57:34 WatchingOne--Oh, I guess I didn't even have to ask :) by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 17:58:20 How come this video and Daniels last video have the same number, 0101, and this video is posted on the left below Daniels video when Daniels video came first? I guess it doesn't matter, just curious. But that blows the theory that 0100 was going to be the last episode. Not only did we get 0101 but we got two 0101s. lol by robtomorrow on 2006-12-20 18:01:38 I've seen some sci-fi shows where cloning was involved, and the cloned subject sometimes holds onto memories of their past "true" self. Maybe Cassie was the original Bree? Maybe Bree's "Cassie 2.0" -- she did mention skeeter hunting in the first vid where Cassie was mentioned! In fact, she mentioned Cassie WHILE skeeter hunting. I'm so totally onto something here. (Yeah, probably not.) by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:02:01 WatchingOne--Altered by what/whom? Also, where did you find stuff on this? Even if the ancient people thought that whatever it was that made up a person has been altered, I think the infinity sign looking like a double-helix would be a coincidence. (Of course, if someone used it now, they would know, and might be expecting others to make that connection.) by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 18:03:44 #303 sydney: VERY cool find! by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:04:14 Noooooooooooooooooo... I'm gonna go cry now... :'( by OooTiffyooO on 2006-12-20 18:05:56 In response to my own post at 312: Maybe that's why Bree's so held onto by her dad. Maybe Bree isn't his daughter, really. Maybe she's a clone, and that's what she holds onto, what makes her so special for the ceremony. Maybe she was genetically engineered for it or something. Or maybe "chosen ones" have been cloned for centuries or something. Yeah, I don't know. I think I just need some answers here. Going a little loopy. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:06:15 Kimmy - that would be telling ;) by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:07:13 #306 WO, this reminds me of the movie "The Fifth Element"... the existence of a divine, superior being needed to fulfill prophesy and save the world. The Deacons (whose credibility I suspect, but who have made this point several times) have said over and over again that Daniel has in his blood what is needed to protect Bree, who must be defended at all costs or whatnot (sorry, I don't care to scan thousands of comments to find the exact quotes)... maybe DNA is the key? by Perky on 2006-12-20 18:13:19 maybe cassie was supposed to be the chosen one or whatever but came down with some horrible deathlu disease...soo they cloned her? idk but thatd be kinda cool...and now the clone is having her own thoughts and feelings because well...shes human. by sydney on 2006-12-20 18:15:59 Actually, different Occult cultures have different beliefs about the Divine relation in human the human genome. The Babylonians believed the secret to eternal life rested with their gods. That culture was passed on to the Egyptians. The Freemasons adopted a similar mentality as the aforementioned cultures. Scientologists believe it comes from aliens, etc. My point was that it is was and IS a widely accepted view in the upper echelons of many "secret societies", and a paticular favorite of Aleister Crowley. by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:16:04 WOW- a lot of spelling errors in that last post - I apologize. *meep* Perky - OH, the Deacons went a little nuts towards the end of posting on the last video. So, her parents must have known something about the ceremony. It's interesting that he researched ribozymes, since they are self-cleaving sections of RNA, maybe symbolic of the order. Also, he sounds important, so the Order probably will not dispose of him very readily. by fuzzybunny85 on 2006-12-20 18:24:35 holy crap i am gone for like 18 hours and there is 2 videos!!!!!!!!! What you said actually reminded me of the 5th season of Buffy--How Dawn's blood was the key to opening some portal. You know how those Thot cards need a key to read them? So if those sybolize the ceremony, maybe Bree's blood is the key like you said. (That goes along with some of the iron pills theories, right?) About cloning--If Cassie and Bree were clones, then there would be an age discrepancy between them (unless the beginning cells of one of them were made, then cloned, and then both were used in in vitro fertilization--um, I don't know if this is scientifically possible) by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 18:28:18 Perky- Actually they transformed me into a LLama for a few posts there, but it didn't take.... by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:30:17 ...my nose looked like Daniels... by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:31:12 ...jsut a little smaller! *meep*! by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:31:52 Maybe Cassie's long dead, and Bree holds some of her memories or something, and her mind's trying to rationalize this as another person having been present at times. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:31:55 watchingone i havent read any of the posts yet soooo... WTF??! by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 18:32:31 Aw, poor Daniel. We love you, Daniel. Even though you're grumpy as hell and abandoned your own best friend when her life's in danger, in favor of a job at a gas station :o) by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:33:00 #329 There is an age difference between Cassie and Bree. The idea of cloning reminds me of a basic idea of quantum theory... if two subatomic particles are together and one is manipulated, both will react. The catch is, if one of the particles is moved far away - even to the opposite end of the world - it will still react when the other is manipulated. We don't really know enough about cloning technology to understand the possibilities of that... but if Cassie and Bree are genetically identical, that theory could have cool implications... by Perky on 2006-12-20 18:33:49 Kimmy -I highly doubt it involves cloning, more likely it involves the occult belief that the secret to godhood and eternal life is HIDDEN in the human genome. by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:34:04 WO - you appear to be enjoying your transformation more than the Deacons had anticipated... should we be worried for you? by Perky on 2006-12-20 18:35:25 cloud_ax- you gotta go back to the last video "Undisclosed Location", and start at post #300. It's just that, even if they are making cassie canon (which I hope they are not!), they wouldn't have known that when they started lg15. As for how itscassie thinks she is connected--from her point of view, I really have no idea. If she had mentioned DNA and stuff in her videos, I would be more likely to believe the cloning stuff or twins separated at birth. But since I think she's fanfic and doesn't actually have contact with the creators, I don't really think she could have known they were going to do this DNA stuff and set up her ARG accordingly months ago. Hehe, no anagrams please! by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 18:48:15 Kimmy -itscassie, as far as I'm concerned, is fanfic. Cassieiswatching, on the other hand, looks very professional. by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 18:54:16 yay, thank you, Kimmy. Well, if this whole Cassie thing were to pan out in any way, I don't think it'd have anything to do with that itscassie chick that's prancing around. I mean, clearly the character of Cassie IS canon, Cassie exists in Bree's world somehow. I don't think itscassie is that Cassie. Whether or not they'll work any of her ideas in -- I think it's just too cheesy, personally. I wish cassieiswatching would've kept up with her ARG. That was pretty cool until it got to the whole Second Life thing. If itscassie IS canon, for some unholy reason, I think it'd have to be that it's Bree shot from some pretty original angles (I don't think it looks like Bree at all), thinking she's in some Order-related facility, when in reality, she's at Jonas'. And the only reason I'm even thinking that could be a possibility is because I want SO BADLY to explain that bad, horribly-obvious wig. "Must be Bree acting out her delusions with a heinous synthetic wig." by Jackie on 2006-12-20 18:57:31 anyone notice the credits for this video? The music is "Neophilia" by Rebel Rebel REBEL? :) by jerik on 2006-12-20 19:02:15 Haha to the wig...reminds me of voyboy's first vid :) The whole Cassieiswatching vs. itscassie thing confuses me a bit since I didn't get into lg15 until after the transition or whatever you could call it happened. I get that it's probably two different people, and cassieiswatching was "gamejacked," but I don't know what this whole Second Life thing is....so cassieiswatching just disappeared? did she start her game over? I've read stuff about it on lgpedia, but I still don't totally get what happened. by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 19:02:43 Why would Bree's father contact her and not her mother. In the message he left her their was no mention of her mother. Did something happen to Bree's mom? Or do the two of them not see eye-to-eye on things? Maybe the cult/order broke Dad first. I still don't think he didn't know what were in the shot. I think he just didn't want Bree to know because she would research it and find something he didn't want her to know. Before I forget. FFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!11111 *salutes the General* *meep*! by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 19:06:12 Joe--Some of us where starting to think that that weird "missing people" thing Jonas says at the beginning means that although it looks like Bree's parents were kidnapped, it's really too soon to know if they were kidnapped or are actually working with the order. Or at least her dad for a number of reasons, including that creepy phone call and the note in p. monkey being from her mom. by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 19:07:28 348 Kimmy: Basically, she's releasing all these creepy videos, right? And this is before OpAphid and , of course, way before itscassie. One day, after people are actually receiving calls from "Cassie" (people that called her voicemail after following clues and stuff, people that spent hours on this), "Cassie" releases a new video. ... And it's a cartoon. Hardly the creepy stuff we were used to (which sometimes kept us up at night, kept our lights on and we loved!). So we figure out that the cartoon's from a thing called Second Life, which is essentially a chatroom where you get a little visual character of yourself (an avatar). So people go in, find her in that little Second Life world, and she's just standing there. She says nothing. No clues, no hints. Nothing. A dead end. She hasn't released a video since then. In the meantime, OpAphid starts posting videos (some time before the last vid cassieiswatching posted), and later, Op releases one showing that she had the passcode to "Cassie's" voicemail -- the one everyone'd been calling for new Cassie clues. So it was actually gamejacked by OpAphid, giving her more credibility. I don't know if Op and cassieiswatching were the same people, or if cassieiswatching couldn't take the pressure and just handed it over to Op or what. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 19:08:42 Didn't the creators say early on that cassieiswatching was too dark and not part of the story. It was made by someone not associated with them in any way. I'm sure they could change their minds and add it to the story if they thought the fans wanted it. by Joe on 2006-12-20 19:09:07 Yeah, but Op wasn't canon at first either. Although I'm sure The Creators wouldn't add in a character that adds murder scenes from the Sharon Tate murder in their videos. ... And that calls Jesus a murderer. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 19:11:16 watchingone - thanks good to be back. i to get new glasses today and now i have a huge headache but i will survive. by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 19:12:01 You know what I miss? When she would like dance around and do the whole speed it up thing. I don't know i just like Bree so much better when she was fun and the early videos and it wasn't so confusing and creepy. I mean no duh she isn't going to be happy and cheery all the time but I was glad to see her acting a little like her old self. =D by jennamarie xo on 2006-12-20 19:13:05 Maybe cassieiswatching was too dark, but The Creators loved some of the ideas, the creepiness factor and the production -- so they talked to them and got them to start OpAphid, then they staged OpAphid gamejacking cassieiswatching. Since then, everyone's been following Op, thinking the cassieiswatching thing just fizzled out. But that could've been a good way to get some of the CiW creepiness, without the offensive and altogether-too-far thing, keeping it family-friendly (to an extent). by Jackie on 2006-12-20 19:13:21 358 jennamarie xo: I'm sure even the most hardcore OpAphid and ARG (gamer) people miss the old Bree. I liked her teahing us things she was learning about and wondering if she would ever fall in love with Daniel and if we'd see them kiss, but ultimately there's more of a plot here. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 19:15:02 Jackie--Thanks so much for explaining that to me! by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 19:15:52 Kimmy, I thought Jonas told Bree that as a threat. Come outside and skateboard with me or I'll kill you and dispose of the body. And by the time anyone thinks of going to the police and looking for you, it will be too late. But it could have been about her parents. I'm not sure if the time line on these video is suppose to match real time but Bree hasn't seen her parents since the "On the run video" which was posted in early November. More than enough time has passed to contact the cops. Also Daniel wanted to go to the police but Bree was afraid because she thought cult had members who were cops, judges, etc... So Bree hasn't contacted them (cops) because she thinks it's to early. She thinks they will take her back to the cult. I'm meeping tired. and it's only 9:00. This is pathetic, I'm getting old. by Joe on 2006-12-20 19:20:53 #357 cloud_ax LASIK. Expensive, but worth every penny. by Perky on 2006-12-20 19:25:45 Joe, it's just that besides being out of place and not something you would tell someone in her situation to "get their mind off things," what Jonas said just plain wrong. (wikipedia "missing person") That's why I think it has to be a clue of some sort. Hehe, your sinister meaning never occurred to me, but I guess it would explain why Bree didn't enjoy skateboarding..... You know what's weird? Even if Bree hadn't gone to the police, you would think that her parents would have friends and/or neighbors and/or coworkers who have noticed that they've gone missing and would have contacted someone by now. So you would think the police would be on the case anyways. Although I guess maybe the order created some sort of fake "they're on vacation" thing. by Kimmy on 2006-12-20 19:29:48 can some one fill me in on the bree/cassie clone talk? by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 19:31:41 361 Kimmy: No problem :) Joe: Either way, you're right. Jonas' saying that made no sense. It's been more than enough time. I'm wondering if it was a hint regarding her father somehow. Like maybe Bree was talking to Jonas about that message and she and Jonas made this video with hints for him? And I'm wondering if the 0101 thing just has to do with a date. January 1st was what I was thinking. I don't know, though. by Jackie on 2006-12-20 19:31:57 how is talking about missing people gonna get bree's mind off of her parents jonas...oh gosh. BUT y'all do look like y'all are having fun so keep it up!! by lively551 on 2006-12-20 19:36:13 Cload_ax, Cassie was the orignal. She was the chosen one who was suppose to do the ceremony. Only something happened to her, car accident, slipped on an orange slurpee cup and broke her neck. No one knows for sure. So they cloned Cassie and made Bree. by Joe on 2006-12-20 19:44:20 cloud_ax The clone thing is really not the direction I'm leaning towards, but there's a lot of talk of it during this videos posts due to the company Bree mentioned. Damn cloud_ax - you watched lonelycrack so much that you broke your eyes! Good *meep* all! by WatchingOne on 2006-12-20 19:47:37 what if cassie was the chosen one but the order wanted a "super cassie", someone who was cassie but better so they used a cloning prossess to create bree a better cassie! by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 19:48:56 watchingone the mostly white screen burns my Retina!!! by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 19:50:44 Kimmy, Jackie, I agree it's out of place but remember Jonas's parent went missing. Maybe he's telling them what happened to him when his parents went missing. They go sailing a lot so the police figured it was their usual behavior and didn't do anything until they were gone for "a few weeks" which oddly enough is how long Bree's parents have been missing. If the timeline of the videos matches real time. by Joe on 2006-12-20 19:51:08 Wait B comes before C in the alphabet. So maybe Bree is the first clone and Cassie is a clone of the clone(Bree). This would explain Cassie's bad wig like hair. When you make a copy of a copy it's never as good as the original. Who was the original? Angie, Amy, Amber, Hmmmm? by Joe on 2006-12-20 19:58:14 joe what if neither one is the orignal but both clones of some third person bree is the better one and cassie is a poor one. by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 20:02:53 eew jonas by loveithateit on 2006-12-20 20:05:42 FFIIRSSSSSSSSSTTTT!!!!11!!!!!!! *MEEP!* by loveithateit on 2006-12-20 20:06:09 a little cloning story for you all. gather around the fire children... The Les Enfants Terrible project - Big Boss was considered the "greatest soldier who ever lived" by his contemporaries and superiors, and as a result a great deal of concern ensued about the potential loss of his genes when he grew to advanced age. Big Boss had previously been sterilized during participation in a 1954 hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll, so he had no children. As a result, in 1972 the government started a project to clone Big Boss instead... by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 20:08:11 Maybe the two 0101 and the mentioning of Bree's dad studying ribozymes is a clue that Bree is a clone. by gnome on 2006-12-20 20:08:41 We have been under attack we don’t have much time. The company you seek uses the symbol of the double ouroboros. This symbolism is derived from the belief of the alterations to the human genome. They are trying to rebirth the race of the Nephilim. Ancient religious signs such as the Star of David, the cross or swastika, the ankh, and the ouroboros match DNA and protein formations found in HGT and lytic transformation. These mutations were roadmaps for the human race to follow when the technology could understand what they related to and are being exploited by the Grigori. They have been looking for a candidate that will not reject the transfer of genetic material. What we call the اوريم وتميم. Genetic Perfection. They are here. We must go. by Deacons on 2006-12-20 20:08:43 #355 Joe, What if the Creators are behind cassieiswatching and they realized "oh this is too controversial, let's say its a fanfic." by gnome on 2006-12-20 20:11:18 ...eight separate eggs were fertilized with Big Boss's DNA and placed inside a single mother, and then six of the fetuses were intentionally aborted to stimulate healthy growth in the remaining two. After this, the "soldier genes" identified in Big Boss's DNA (which the government assumed were responsible for his exemplary combat performance) were isolated and concentrated in a single fetus, which would grow to become Liquid Snake. The recessive, apparently useless genes were concentrated in the second fetus, which would become Solid Snake. -From the metal gear solid series so replace so Liquid snake with Bree, Solid with Cassie, "solider genes" with what ever the order wants with these girls and Big Boss with a person who remains unidentified. yes it is a crazy theory but a theory non the less. by cloud_ax on 2006-12-20 20:13:10 329 - you just reminded me of Dawn. Adding new characters to Buffy and Angel (Connor) was a bad, bad, idea Joss! by gnome on 2006-12-20 20:16:53 #381 Gnome, The only problem I have with that is they said it wasn't part of the story not too long after it was revealed that this was all fake. It would seem like a bad idea to then lie and say CiW has nothing to do with them. They learned that there is no way to keep it a secret. Also why lie and say it's not part of the story then bring it back into the story. Actually now that I think about it you are probably right. More often than not it looks like they have no plan and just make things up as they go along. by Joe on 2006-12-20 20:21:36 I think that too Joe. And Bree seemed to like him. I couldn't tell if the shyness and blushing was her flirting, or if it was just her being new and unfamiliar with him. I'm going with the former. Still no heating...apparantly the plumber will be out "some time today"...I think the company wears orange uniforms personally... Still cant find any names of high school ghosts in Toronto..(mumble mumble, if the person doing the fanfic had got their facts right and known the capital was Ottawa not Toronto I would probably not only have a name by now but an address, a driving license..) Hey! Guillotine's new vid is called "Morior"? Does that sound similar to that MSN messenger address that REBEL used? by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 04:08:28 Good Night, All.. 6 am here. Can you send me the link? by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 04:14:36 second that flatmate. i f***** hate searching for things on the YTube! I can never find anything! by gnome on 2006-12-21 04:30:36 #447 - That's funny wasn't that fanfic in anagrams or code too? They go to the trouble of creating some complex puzzle but don't even bother Googling "Canadian Capital". However, Toronto is a provincial capital (of Ontario), they could have intended to mean capital in that aspect in order to through people off. by gnome on 2006-12-21 04:34:41 meep meep for Marbella! GF: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=guillotinecalamity The hex string (Simon contact) translates to: simonsayssister@gmail.com by Dream on 2006-12-21 04:40:42 #452 gnome, she said "Canada's capital". It irritated me to no end, when she then came up with Toronto. If you involve us in a game, you should make sure that you do your research better than we do. by Dream on 2006-12-21 04:47:08 froze the misty words in Guillotines vid, it appears to be an anagram though I cant read all the letters. by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 05:12:17 I'm fairly new and haven't really posted much (but have enjoyed the lurking *lurk lurk lurk* and reading of your amusing back and forth) and I know my thoughts are probably not quite "in tune" with the symphony that IS lonely crack -- but here goes me blathering away anyhow... (i appologize in advance) First thought: I had always assumed that "Cassie" (as discussed in the 'Swimming' video) was older than Bree as she had mentioned to Daniel, "She was in your class." Maybe she just meant one of Daniel's actual classes -- but still. Second thought: I thought the interaction between Jonas & Bree seemed a bit awkward and 'polite' with one another. Which really should be the case since they don't really know one another. -- as a side note, how on God's green earth does Jonas' "better looks" make him a better candidate romantically? That is a totally MEEP-ed up outlook on relationships. Bree is inexperienced, naieve, and will need more than eye-candy to support her through her first (and most likely awkwardest) romantic interlude. That said, I also hope that she won't go for Daniel unless she's actually attracted to him. That's a bad spot to be in too. --- Last thought: I've believe there is a theory out there somewhere stating that the amount of ranting you do on the internet is proportionate to the amount of sleep the internet has stolen from you... or something to that effect. Sorry for the blather ;) by snurffle on 2006-12-21 05:35:38 GF, I did what I could on the misty words but it's hard to make them readable... http://www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=Image:Gc1.jpg by Dream on 2006-12-21 05:38:15 well done Dream! I'm not sure if it is an anagram now, the last piece of writing looks more like a symbol. or it could be the number 91.. by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 05:54:20 GF, "Zlychua Dov Rpssz" becomes "servant who kills" with a rotation 19 decoding... Those were the three words I was fairly sure of the letters. Trying my luck on the rest. by Dream on 2006-12-21 05:54:47 maybe it's just me but - I really didn't care much for Bree's attitude in this video. maybe it's just some stupid teen sarcasm or something but she just seemed kind of witchy to Jonas. He was just trying to do something fun for her and once again she seemed totally unappreciative. I really used to like her and now - not so much. I feel bad for Jonas - extending his home and hospitality to a complete stranger - and all he gets is a brat. by kellyg on 2006-12-21 05:57:11 GF: Aol Obtisl Zlychua Dov Rpssz Aol Rp.. The Humble Servant Who Kills The Ki.. Rot19. I can't make out the last letter(s) and the number. by Dream on 2006-12-21 06:03:51 What would be cool is if Gemma showed up at Jonas's house! The vid would go something like.. Jonas and Bree taping Gemma knocking on the door. With both of them talking in the background about how she found Bree. Then we would hear Gemma saying something about Daniel or her dad! She would then point to a car. Window would come down and... that would be end of vid. I have to say I'm losing interest. There needs to be some major climax or suspense real soon. by seeit on 2006-12-21 06:07:42 The Humble Servant Who Kills the Killed? Not sure... But maybe what I thought was a 91 is actually letters.. urgh! guillotine needs to practice her hand writting!! by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 06:09:25 GF, "Killed" is too long I think... Any ideas what the original letters could be? by Dream on 2006-12-21 06:17:44 Your right Dream (sorry I miscounted the letters..) this is really hard because we cant read the writing properly... My eyes are hurting! by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 06:28:31 hang on... rotation 19 decoding...would the 91 be a reversed 19 as a clue on how to decode? In which case can we ignore that last part? by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 06:31:52 PS STILL!! nothing from plumbers... very cold today! Pulled out electric heater to keep warm! When heating company turn up I shall let you know if they wear orange uniforms...grrr... by gemmas flatmate on 2006-12-21 06:38:42 Ok, So... Bree, stop fraternizing with the enemy! I don't want Bree and Jonas to get together! :( What about Danielbeast, Bree! This video reminds me a lot of the hiking video. Same Chemistry. by Sadie on 2006-12-21 06:57:14 GF, orange = fire = evil, as WO pointed out a few vids ago. So the heating company is probably evil. Make sure you wear something purple! You could be right with the 91 = 19! That means we only miss the last one or two letters from the last word. by Dream on 2006-12-21 07:00:05 Ah, it was easy! Rpun = King. So the solution (under the condition that the numbers are a clue for the rotation) is: The Humble Servant Who Kills the King. by Dream on 2006-12-21 07:11:52 It's a chess move: "The humble servant who kills the king would be when your pawn has advanced so far into your opponent's territory that it can now checkmate the king." http://experts.about.com/q/Chess-1332/chess-strategiesfor-school-project.htm by Dream on 2006-12-21 07:14:24 Ok, I think that's all I can do for now. And thanks for the thanks! There is a reason why we chair the "anagram and puzzle obsession" break-out session of our support group meeting... by Dream on 2006-12-21 07:52:19 Hey there. Long-time lurker, first time poster. So.... FFFFFFFIIIIIIIRRRRRSSSSSSTTTTTTT!!!!!11!!!!1 Anyway, I happen to have made my living as an investigative journalist. Maybe I've got some insight. Gemma first: We've been shown that we can't trust Gemma. Therefore, we mustn't trust anything she says. She told us Bree wasn't involved in a religion, but a secret society. Perhaps that was a ruse. In fact, perhaps they aren't called The Order after all. On a personal note, Gemma's gorgeous. I hope she's not gone for good. Gemma also said "go home" and "don't trust Jonas." And "don't trust the authorities." If she's looking to protect the interests of, for lack of a better term, "The Order," then of course she would try to scare Daniel and Bree from going to the cops. On Jonas: Why would anyone bring up a factoid about missing persons out of the clear blue? I'm not sure he's all that trustworthy yet. On MsKelly: Thus far, I can't find an actual connection between MsKelly and LG15. I think we try to make it fit, but it looks to me like the whole HSA thing is fanfic. The itscassie videos are well edited, but I think they're obviously not canon -- the allusions to Bree's parents and such are just stupid and feaux-spooky. On religion: I hope the Creators aren't stupid enough to get this story tied up in Aleister Crowley. I really do. However, we know that Bree was learning Enochian. We know she was to have some fashion of ceremony. We know her father was a scientist. I've seen some postings here about Crowley and Jack (Whiteside) Parsons, one of the fathers of modern rocket technology. Crowley, Parsons and L. Ron Hubbard were buddies and at one point, following Crowley's lead, attempted what was termed "The Babylon Working." There are different theories as to what that was exactly, but one explanation was that it was meant to incarnate the demon Horus into the body of a modern-day whore of Babylon. Hence, you have a melding of religion and science in this awful group of men. The Order of the Eastern Temple, which Crowley led, was (is) a secret society. I guess all this boils down to: If Gemma says it's not religion, or Thelema, perhaps it really is. If she says don't go to the authorities, you probably should. JM2C by Maddingo on 2006-12-21 07:55:47 The Ouroboros, also spelled Oroborus, Uroboros or Uroborus, is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle. It has been used to represent many things over the ages, but it most generally symbolizes ideas of cyclicality, primordial unity, or the vicious circle. The ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism, but has also been frequently used in alchemical illustrations. In the last century, it has been interpreted by psychologists such as Carl Jung as having an archetypal significance to the human psyche. by modelmotion on 2006-12-21 08:07:04 i hope someone posts a new video today Anyone other than GC I don't like her, or her videos, they're annoying. I feel your pain. We were supposed to have a roofer here 2 weeks ago to fix a leak in our roof. Now, we have a very cold rain today and I'm sure it's about to snow and he still hasn't showed up. I think our landlord probably never set up the appointment. We can't use the ceiling light in our hallway because it's below the crack and it filled up with water, so if we turn it on it may start a fire. So we are stumbling around in the dark and hoping no more water gets in. :( Yay, apartment dwelling! Dream said fire = orange = evil. Transitive property suggests that roofers = evil. The heater is never on, but instead my dad or mom will turn the fireplace on, and it will feel like we're in an oven throughout the whole house. I rather be cold than that. by JaneyLane on 2006-12-21 09:10:30 So far I have liked Jonas, and I haven't been suspicious of him. But the factual error he made about Persons being Missing was odd. It could either mean: 1) Creators didn't bother to do their homework. 2) It was a clue to Bree's dad that Bree made him say. 3) He lied about his parents being missing - how to declare a person missing is something he should know about. Which reminds me of Gemma when she was given a 5000 word essay to write on the Miller's Tale in one night and then she turned out to not even be in University but working for the Order. by gnome on 2006-12-21 09:11:17 Every time I have seen my landlord, he has been dressed entirely in black. Hmmm... Not orange, but pretty evil. by krig on 2006-12-21 09:16:06 #486 gnome I agree, this has to be some kind of clue, either to Bree's dad or to us. Like others have said above, this is too glaring of a mistake for it not to mean anything. by krig on 2006-12-21 09:23:58 Oh man, thanks Guys, I'm knee-deep in stuff. I could have sworn if was in 48 hours and not a couple of weeks, though, that people were considered missing. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:31:00 That or yeah, it was part of some secret message to her father. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:31:46 yeah, me too, i always thought and heard it was 48 hours. by JaneyLane on 2006-12-21 09:33:17 JaneyLane-- I feel you on the GuillotineCalamity. I don't feel about her even close to the way I do about itscassie, but it's kind of annoying how's she's trying to become part of the ARG by sending out random clues and remixing other videos without being able to offer any new info. And yet, if you look at her youtube videos, everybody's comments are like "omg this video is SO AWESOME," and yet-- it's really just clips from Cassieiswatching mixed with clips from Tachyon's videos put to like...Gwen Stefani or some crap. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:36:12 Thanks for the welcome, Krig. Anyway, the ouroboros thing doesn't work for me. It seems like a dead end, if anything. Here's a question: Daniel goes to Bree's house and finds a box? We all saw the medical pamphlets. Why didn't he? They were obviously cause for concern, I'd say. Much more than a box -- even with a symbol on it. Bree should not meet up with her father. He got into a car with operatives, and he hasn't returned home. He says he's safe and that she'll understand everything? That's a trap. Oh, and let's not forget that the people running this so-called "secret society" is run by "deacons." by Maddingo on 2006-12-21 09:36:30 And *meep*s to Marbella Claus by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:39:14 what if you are all right and it is 48 hours and the few weeks he talks about is another code! by cloud_ax on 2006-12-21 09:40:24 Yeah, PinkoLady, I've come very very close to commenting her on youtube saying "stfu, you're annoying." Implying that her Dad worked for OpAphid, maybe? Ay, I don't know, but Maddingo, the infinity symbol isn't doing it for me either. However, as someone figured out, the similarly shaped Mobius Strip (when it'd doing it's Mobius Stip thing, and twisting and all that) has definite connections to Crowley. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:43:35 Good morning all!! Thanks for the lettuce Dream! The Guinea Pig thing wore off in the middle of the night (it scared the crap out of my dog...) *eats lettuce anyway...mmmmMMMMmmm ... crunchy!* I think that the diligent work of the lonelycracks here have kind of detected the story arch being related to some type of gene manipulation. I can't stay long today - I have a meeting (Thank heaven I'm not a Guinea Pig anymore!!!) I'm still leaning towards the story arch involving either the Order OR her father trying to extract the fabled hidden, altered genetic code from Bree....the only problem I'm having is trying to figure out whom is trying to do what and for what purpose? The implications can range from the benign to the very dark. On the one hand, they may be attempting to find the code to obtain the secret of eternal life that so many occult groups believe in. On the other extreme, they might be trying to bring forth anything from the spirits of the Fallen Ones manifested in Bree to trying to genetically ressurect the biblical Nephilim. At this point, it's impossible for me to determine what's at stake here and why. Anyway, happy *meep* everyone! :) by WatchingOne on 2006-12-21 09:45:03 Maybe now that Bree's parents are communicating with her through videos they might go back and watch the earlier ones. Uh oh, someone's parents are going to see all of the things she said! Tee hee! by krig on 2006-12-21 09:47:25 Are we sure they're communicating with her through videos? Nothing in this video was neccessarily a response -- and assuming it wasn't, we have no reason to believe her dad's phone message had anything to do with the videos-- "he" didn't know she was going to say the number outloud when dialing it while making a video-log thing. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:51:55 Oh, I'm just working on the hypothetical because it sets everything up for crazy hijinks! by krig on 2006-12-21 09:55:17 :) by jerik on 2006-12-21 09:56:10 PinkoLady: I think the Mobius strip makes sense; the ouroboros does not. The ouroboros is the snake biting it's tail, which really isn't what we're seeing. It looks like a Mobius strip to me. I studied Crowley for awhile. It ain't pretty. And I believe that if LG15 is introducing this many people to Crowley, they're getting into something very dangerous. This may sound stupid, but I own and have read Crowley's Book of the Law. I was studying it during a time period when I had an interest in learning about the Tarot, AE Waite and Gematria. While reading his book, I began to be tormented by the number 418. Lots of bad things happened to me during that time period, and many of them were connected to the number 418. In fact, everywhere I looked that number appeared. Well, that book, according to Crowley, was dictated to him by the evil demon Aiwass, whose number is 418. If it hadn't happened to me, I wouldn't believe it. But my life went to hell during that time, and I know Aiwass was behind it. The unfortunate thing here is that there seem to be a lot of Crowley connections. by Maddingo on 2006-12-21 09:57:38 voyboy - another great video... thanks! by Perky on 2006-12-21 09:57:58 Haha, Krig, I just considered that because I was thinking that there's no reason to believe anything in the video is a message to her Dad-- how do we know he's watching them? Though it would be hilarious if he was meeting up with her just to be like "Your parents WHAT? SUCK? Young lady, you're finding your own way out of this mess, and if life every returns to something resembling normalcy, you're even more grounded than before." by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 09:59:41 The infinity was developed from the Ouroboros, and the double Ouroboros, which is probably why people think it has anything to do with it. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:01:32 voyboy, once again, GENIUS!!! by krig on 2006-12-21 10:07:25 Haha, voyboy, that ones rivals the brilliant Yearbook one--- you've got her facial expressions exactly. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:08:41 #520 PinkoLady lmao! by krig on 2006-12-21 10:09:58 after hearing that, Maddingo, 518, I really wish I hadn't seen any of the lg15 videos. Now I'm scared. I want to read the book, but i don't at the same time. by JaneyLane on 2006-12-21 10:14:56 My friend was really freaked out about June 6 of this year because it's 06/06/06 and she's very religious and she kept saying "I'm going to stay in bed ALL DAY, something is going to happen, I just KNOW IT." Then, the morning of 06/07/06, I call her and say, "So, did you stay in bed all of yesterday?" and she says, "huh? what are you talking about? What was yesterday?" It tickled me. Anyway, I don't mean that disrespectfully, I find the psychological effects of belief incredibly interesting; and you made those ties yourself-- bad things happened to you around the time you were learning about Crowley, and so you made the connection to 418, otherwise you wouldn't have even believed it. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:24:36 voyboy, that fan video is hysterical! My hard core Christian friend once was calculating what her pay was going to be and she showed me the calculator and was like "Ahhhhh! Look what I came up with!" The total was $666 exactly. I joked with her "hey if you're scared, I'll switch pay checks with you!" - mine was only like $500 and something. by gnome on 2006-12-21 10:41:15 #529 I'm going to ask my brother about this one. He used to be a volunteer for this Search and Rescue Org and he's a medic - so he'll probably know or know someone that knows. by gnome on 2006-12-21 10:42:50 Here's what wikipedia says about that (my #529): "In most common law jurisdictions a missing person can be declared dead in absentia (or "legally dead") after seven years. This time frame may be reduced in certain cases, such as deaths in major battles or mass disasters such as the September 11, 2001 attacks." by krig on 2006-12-21 10:43:32 Maddingo #518 When I heard about this on the news I expected that the Christian Organization that thinks Harry Potter is a ploy to expose children to the occult to be all over LG15 and its Aleister Crowley connections. by gnome on 2006-12-21 10:50:03 And wiki also says: A common misconception is that a person must be absent for 72 hours before being legally classed as missing, but this is rarely the case; in instances where there is evidence of violence or of an unusual absence, law enforcement agencies often stress the importance of beginning an investigation promptly. So, it's either 72 hours (not 48, I guess) or sooner. Between that and 7 years, either way, Jonas is factoid is CRAP. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:50:23 whoops more to add to my comment #533 I'm surprised that Maddingo #518 is the first one to bring this up. by gnome on 2006-12-21 10:50:59 *Jonas' factoid, not Jonas is factoid. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:51:29 #532 - maybe the Coast Guard (since his parents were lost at sea) - declared people dead after several weeks if their boat is lost. by gnome on 2006-12-21 10:52:33 Yeah, true, Gnome: I'm surprised more people aren't concerned about this introducing people to Crowley and the occulty--- I mean, they were freaked out about Harry Potter, which is so blatantly NOT doing that, if you've ever read any of the books. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 10:53:34 bleh. We'll see you next year! :) by krig on 2006-12-21 11:06:38 Heya people, ok...following up a theory of Dream's, that Gemma could be Cassie...I did some photo work. I put white lines on the main visible features of a pic of Cassie, then superimposed a semi-transparent image of Gemma. Gemma's features seem to match the white lines marking Cassie's photo, even down to the crease on her cheek!...What do you think? http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c46/Mirrormilana/LG15/ by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:11:17 Bye Janey, good luck going cold turkey. Like-- "Crowley is all, occulty and stuff"? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:11:51 Those look pretty good, but Gemma had a clear New Zealand accent that her British accent couldn't cover, and Itscassie has no hint of any accent. Also, Itscassie's voice has a completely different, annoying nasally quality to it. Gemma's voice, accent aside, was pretty pleasant. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:14:25 Rebelgoddess, fantastic work! The pics got me all excited. *bounces up and down* by Dream on 2006-12-21 11:14:37 PinkoLady I've never thought Gemma even had a hint of British accent, I'm from Britain, I should know...hopefully! It seems totally NZ but faked...sometimes an American accent seems to show through...so it would be easy enough to drop the accent. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:16:56 Oh, and whispering could give the nasal effect...maybe by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:17:21 Also, the tip of their noses are shaped very differently. (I'm sorry... I hate itscassie so much... I don't want her to be canon!) by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:17:45 Whispering would make it sound a little more nasal, yes, but the way she pronounces certain words sounds a good deal like a girl I know, who naturally has a nasally quality to her voice. I'm pretty sure the Jackie, who plays Gemma, like Jessica Rose, is from NZ. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:19:50 #549 RG, yep, I agree with you. Even though I'm not an expert, seeing I speak English with a distinct German accent. ;) Although after I visited the Aussies for a few months a few years back, my English teacher tried desparately to get me back to British English. lol. by Dream on 2006-12-21 11:20:15 And that her NZ accent is real, I mean. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:20:23 Oh, and haha, I definitely didn't mean to imply that Gemma had anything resembling a decent british accent-- pretty much half my family lives in Britian and speak with a British accents. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:22:23 I found this on the LGPedia: "Jackie is from South Africa and she moved to England where she lived for many years. She went to LA to do a course." http://www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=Jackie_Jandrell by Dream on 2006-12-21 11:22:45 Lol, PinkoLady, if you really don't want her to be canon, doesn't that mean your arguments will be biased? by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:23:13 Okay, I lied, Jackie is South African? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:24:57 Dream...so that would imply that she is faking the NZ accent... by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:25:00 557: I know, I know, haha, that's what I was saying... that I'm probably wrong, and that you could be totally right, but I'll never accept it. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:26:32 bree looks adorable in that hat! I'm jealous! (maybe I should start wearing hats... I wonder if I could pull it off...) ps: yesterday I was out to dinner with my friends. They said the room was making them sleepy because the lights were yellow. and i said... "or, orange!" and burst into hysterical laughter. they asked me what i was talking about but i was too busy gasping for breath and crying from laughing to answer. pps: 447, Maddingo: interesting and well-put-together! by eno on 2006-12-21 11:27:15 But if she's supposed to be British, why would she be faking an NZ accent? Gemma was never said to have lived in NZ, as Bree did... by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:27:46 PinkoLady, fair enough! :) Me and Dream will probably defend this theory til it's shot down anyway. so we're pretty biased too! On that note...I think the irregularity in nose shape is due to the slight difference in face angles. They were the closest shots I could get, but still not perfect. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:28:12 I have no idea why she would fake an NZ accent, but it seems that she is for whatever reason. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:29:00 For some reason, I thought they were both part of the same NZ acting company. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:29:48 Anyway, so she's not NZ, I accept that... But I don't just mean that their noses are different in those pictures, but in watching the videos, they have very different noses. The noses actually look quite similar in the pictures you were able to find. I guess I'll re-watch one an itscassie video. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:32:01 Ok, so what kind of accent do they have in South Africa? I'm at a loss here... PinkoLady, I kind of understand, why you wouldn't want itscassie to be canon, but the similarity of her features to Gemma's has bugged me for a while. I don't have the image manipulation skills RG has, though, so I never managed to get a good comparison. RG, you rule! :D It's only a theory, I know, but it would make a lot of sense. To me at least it would. by Dream on 2006-12-21 11:32:24 #561 eno I did something like that...several things like that actually. I threw an orange across the room today to keep it away from my brother. The other day I hid behind my bf because I saw a Watcher... Oh, and my bf and family now all say meep! Do you think LG15 is affecting my life at all......? by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:32:33 Damn typos. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:32:44 I actually enjoy itscassie's videos. I don't think it likely that she would be made canon, but the videos are creepy and they do seem to follow the storyline well. by ApotheosisAZ on 2006-12-21 11:32:55 Thanx Dream! Oh, and if it helps at all, a South African accent sounds like a Dutch accent...in case you know any Dutch people! Erm, that's all I know about it :) by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:34:19 #566 PinkoLady, strangely enough the noses were the first thing that made me think their features were similar... by Dream on 2006-12-21 11:34:25 and holy crap there are some smart people on here! i love reading your comments! by eno on 2006-12-21 11:34:30 PinkoLady: I forgot to mention that when I was plagued by 418 before I knew it was Aiwass's mystical number. If I'd known it beforehand, I could probably play it off; but I read the book, started seeing 418 everywhere I went -- like waking up in the dead of night after some wicked dreams to find it was 4:18 in the morning -- and then, after going back to the texts, I found Aiwass's mystical number was 418. I'm a very rational person. As I said, an investigative journalist by trade. And a good one, if you don't mind a little self promotion. Nothing in my life has ever scared me more. The worst part is that it isn't over. Anyone who wants to read the text can find it online at www.aiwass.com. But I really don't recommend it. Back to itscassie. Her videos are slick enough, but she's so wacked -- especially the last video with the parent eating thing -- that I think it's just someone hoping the creators will add her to the story. The only idea against this is that she did post the phone call video way too close to Bree's video about Cassie and the prank calls. Either way, there's really very little in her videos to suggest she's helping the plot at all. And she just CAN'T be Gemma. Gemma is way too pretty. I'm still cheering for her to make a comeback as a good guy. Oh, and missing persons: It really depends on circumstance. It's entirely possible that a person could not be considered "missing" for a couple of weeks, if there's no sign of foul play. For example, Bree isn't missing, because she's online and others know where she is. I think Jonas is a bad guy, and that he's trying to lure Daniel to his cave. by Maddingo on 2006-12-21 11:35:24 Actually, South African accents have very similar vowel pronounciations to NZ accents. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:35:33 Dream, the noses were what I noticed first in the photos! Odd. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:36:16 Rebelgoddess: "Oh, and my bf and family now all say meep!" haha, loving it! maybe it will catch on as slang and one day we'll see it in the dictionary. origins: lonelygirl15 geeks. the coolest kind of geeks in the world. by eno on 2006-12-21 11:37:13 RG, yes, I happen to know a few Dutch people. That's right, me!", until they threw orange slurpees at me to make me go away. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:41:27 Though Afrikaners were originally dutch, South African accents are extremely different from Dutch accents-- at least from my experience in both Johannesberg and Amsterdam. Also, a good friend of mine lived in South Africa most of her childhood and hasn't really lost her accent. Actually take a look at this: "South African English spoken by whites bears some resemblances in pronunciation to the English of the South East of England. Afrikaans has heavily influenced only those living in Afrikaans areas. The most noticeable difference in Afrikaans pronunciation is probably the flat "i". This is a part of the vowel shift that has occurred in South Africa as well as New Zealand. However, the population possessing English as their mother tongue pronounce words in much the same way as the British upper class."? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:41:36 PinkoLady, good research! However, I still stand by my claim that Gemma really doesn't have an English accent....even that of the upper-class! The New Zealand part is much more pronounced. by Rebelgoddess on 2006-12-21 11:44:25 HHHHMMMMM..... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peralta_Community_College_District by NAXAN on 2006-12-21 11:47:31 Ok, I have to get this out. Last night I was sitting with my boyfriend at Whole Foods, having some dinner, and he remarked on one of the cashier's (who is always horribly mean to us) outfits. She was wearing orange and blue together. He said to me, "Orange and blue has to be the worst color combination ever!". I said "Well, how do you feel about orange and purple?" He thought it wasn't as bad. Maybe my boyfriend is a closet P*Monkey fan and never told me? Reagardless, I am sure that cashier is evil. by krig on 2006-12-21 11:48:38 Yeah, I agree, it didn't seem British to me at all. Good to see you back, and with a useful tidbit of information! by krig on 2006-12-21 11:50:04 Need to check my posts before I post them. Oog, bad spelling. by krig on 2006-12-21 11:52:27 Maddingo -You're comments are well researched and very insightful! Let me try to ease your mind and perhaps belay your fears about Mssr. Crowley. Crowley was considered too radical for even the weirdes sects out there, partially because of his lifestyle and partially because of his tendency to try (and often succeed) to force his way into the Governing Body of certain sects. His conversations with Aiwass and other, as he refered to them, "Mystical beings", or "Angels" can very easily be attributed to the VERY severe use of psychotropic drugs he was known to abuse. Combined with his obsessive nature about the occult and his thirst for power - it made him into a very interesting, but in my belief, deranged individual. by WatchingOne on 2006-12-21 11:52:49 On that note, it's probably just referring to pronouncing the word "class" like "clahss" where american's pronounce it... uh, "class" I guess. You get what I mean. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:56:52 Also, Maddingo-- Didn't Crowley consider Aiwass his personal guardian angel? I haven't done much research on the subject, so I don't know-- is Aiwass supposed to be a malevolent being...? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 11:59:01 I started thinking that 'Powell' wasn't as much of a clue as a lead in to 'Peralta'.... by NAXAN on 2006-12-21 12:01:30 So do you think the significance of "Peralta" linked with Powell (other than skateboarder Stacy Peralta working with Powell skateboard co.) is hinting at a location, or...? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 12:02:19 Location, Powell Dry Cleaners, San Fransisco-Peralta, Alemeda...near the windmill ? by NAXAN on 2006-12-21 12:11:32 Ah, Tachy's windmill in San Fransisco, I forgot about that. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 12:16:21 I just watched Nikki Bowers last video where she goes to "Gemmas" apartment...I thought that was where Lucy lived. Not Gemma...? Am I confused? by cdewsie on 2006-12-21 12:35:34 WatchingOne: I'm very familiar with Crowley's drug use, odd sexual proclivities, and his penchant for managing to get into leadership positions. Deranged, perhaps. But also evil. If you can dismiss him as merely crazy, then by all means read The Book of the Law. I think you'll change your mind. PinkoLady: Crowley called Aiwass his spirit guide. He was the one to convince Crowley to begin the Babylon Working. If indeed that ritual would bring about the Aeon of Horus, we could certainly surmise that Aiwass is evil. Another footnote here: Crowley once drew a picture of Aiwass. It very closely resembled our modern-day alien greys. This, of course, was years before Roswell. I'm only posting any of this because I fear the creators are going in that direction, and I think it's a really bad one. by Maddingo on 2006-12-21 12:41:35 Tachy's windmill... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Gate_Park by NAXAN on 2006-12-21 12:48:22 #559 Rebelgoddess I am from New Zealand, yet when I traveled extensively overseas, people mistook my accent as being South African, Pommy or Australian, but very rarely did people suggest New Zealand. I didn't have the heart to tell him that English is actually the main language spoken here :P CONCLUSION: My travels around the world made me realise that it all depends on each persons perception through limited knowledge of what they are actually hearing as to where it is classified you are from. by Alexi on 2006-12-21 12:56:34 Can someone magnify the picture to jonas's right in the beginging of the video? "is your refrigerator running? i think i saw it running down the street!" by mary on 2006-12-21 15:03:18 my last exam wasn't terrible, but it was long! but now the semester is finally over hooray! thank you for asking i'm resisting the urge to print out my syllabus for my seminar next semseter. my brain will probably explode. i slept late today :) and i've been sitting here vegging and watching all the stuff i missed or wouldn't let myself watch until finals were over. i haven't gotten to the guillotine calamity stuff and i'm kind of putting it off. i wish tachyon or opaphid would do something new. by mary on 2006-12-21 15:09:03 voyboy makes itcassie's annoying, pathetic youtube existence worthwhile! On a random note, every dog in my neightborhood is barking or making weird howling noises right now, and it's really creeping me out. I miss the mountains or the city-- suburbs are weird. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:12:44 *gets up from a sitting position* "Oh. no...I...fell off that...skateboard." Sorry, this was the first video that seemed especially fake to me. Nice to see Bree and Jonas together for once, though. by loser078 on 2006-12-21 15:16:27 they probably hear a siren or something. i wonder if you would call my neighborhood suburbs. by mary on 2006-12-21 15:16:42 hmmmm 1st time i ever posted on here, interesting eh? lol ok whatever but hi ppl :) by rose_ on 2006-12-21 15:17:00 I took a year off after high school to do Americorps (like, a domestic Peace Corps), so even though I'm 22, I'm a junior. I only bring this up because I'm incredibly thankful to not be thinking too much about a thesis paper yet, when everyone else who graduated with me is. I felt so lucky to be worrying about finals when my good friends were worrying about things like that. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:17:30 Congrats on getting through the semester, mary! I'm probably going to go into law, preferably international law. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:24:04 What about you, Mary? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:24:42 What about you, Mary? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:24:42 Uh... yeah, wtf, double post? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:25:33 Pinko Lady, what are you doing in the suburbs then?! Get yourself on a train and come on into the city! I just stood in line in the Italian Market for 45 minutes. Just to buy a half pound of cheese. Boo. by krig on 2006-12-21 15:26:19 ok so i see both the flirting and the awkwardness. we have jonas holding her hand after she's already gotten up, but she kind of pulls her hand away. and then when she acts all defiant like "i can do this mySELF." it seems like flirting for sure- but we also know bree is that type of person. she *would* think she could teach herself how to skate better than someone who actually knows how already. im sure her dad had her singing the "anything you can do i can do better" song at 6 months. and when she blushes and laughs after falling off the skateboard, that seems like flirting, but it also seems like she's just embarassed that she fell. making her mad, and defiant, and blaming jonas/the skateboard. i agree with 644- i have a skateboard. and i didn't just fall off, on my butt. most "falling" involving skating is more like flying off, with legs getting tangled (which i guess is what they were trying to show when she was lying on the sleeping bag with the board on her legs?) i mean maybe she just hopped on and then fell because she didn't realize she needed to get her balance right and that skateboards aren't stable surfaces... but i didn't see sparks or anything, and i'm pretty sure that she misses daniel because he would've gotten her joke. by mary on 2006-12-21 15:29:48 yeah pinko how did you manage that? it never lets me double post. i studied philosophy in undergrad, and now i'm in law school, my second year. i took 3 international law courses this semester! i don't think that's what i'm going to do, but it's funny since you brought it up. my seminar next semester is on legal issues and controlling science... i think it's gonna be fun fun but a lot of work. by mary on 2006-12-21 15:33:40 Haha, I'll probably head into the city around 9 or 10 tonight. Mmm, good cheese and the italian market are so worth a wait. I kind of want to go Whole Foods and get a Jamba Juice though. Wait! The whole foods with the evil lady... not the one on South Street? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:33:55 as for her dad and giving him a message, i don't think anything we saw was directly for her dad, because he doesn't watch youtube. or know a webcam from a hole in the ground. i think it's more likely that the "powel" jogged her memory, like krig said a long time ago. she'll probably have to leave some kind of message on the drycleaner's number, or something like that. um as far as our 8 symbol goes i definitely agree with all who have said it looks like a double helix piece. and i thought ribozymes was an awesome addition! before i turned to philosophy, i thought i was going to be a virologist. (that's why my specialty or minor was in natural sciences) by mary on 2006-12-21 15:37:39 Yeah, South Street. Keep your eyes open! Watch out for cranky cashiers in blue and orange! by krig on 2006-12-21 15:37:52 Ha, cool, Mary. I'm not sure if that's exactly what I want to do, but that's where I'm headed for now. I want to tear down the world bank and the wto, essentially, but that's probably not going to happen, ha. I might need to go a more direct-action route for things like that. And yeah, I'm also not looking forward to applying to/paying for law school... I actually might go do some development work in Africa with some Peace Corps-type organization first. While I do care deeply about developing African communities that have been raped by the World Bank SAP's, but I really just want to put off law school. It's so bad. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 15:40:14 #648 Krig - the best way to get Op or Tach's attention is not to send the same old chant, VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO VIDEO! rather, do it in hex or an anagram: doive! doive! doive! doive! by gnome on 2006-12-21 15:41:42 Krig: Damn, what a shame. I think most ppl would probably boycot the chat tonight if itscassie. I get the impression most find her videos cheesy and lame. Although without her we wouldn't have VoyBoy's awesome spoofs. by gnome on 2006-12-21 15:45:37 so i have no idea what jonas is exactly talking about when he says it takes a few weeks to classify missing people as missing. i suppose he may be saying that if no one has reported that they're gone (like bree hasn't) then it takes a few weeks for their absence to be noticed and for them to become classified as missing. but then what? there's not a lot of funding for missing adults. when kids run away, the cops won't even go after them if they're 17 or 18, unless their parents are some big shots or something. i think pinko said this, that the only way to reconcile telling bree that it takes a while to classify people as missing to make her stop thinking about her parents is that jonas thinks somehow bree will stop thinking about her parents... even though it's been over 3 weeks.... hmm by mary on 2006-12-21 15:53:46 yeah gnome remember "well talk december 21st!" Partially just because I hate them so much. It's just a string of cheap accessories stores these days. :( No more Spaceboy, Zipperhead had to move and change its name... :( If any of you join the chat with itscassie please report back. I also noticed that "clearing of the head" line. Jonas is saying something, and I'm still not sure if it is on the up-and-up. by krig on 2006-12-21 16:07:25 644 loser078: HA, I noticed that too. Dear God, just fall off the skateboard, for chrissake. And does anyone see anything in the bushes, or is it just... leaves that kind of look like a face... like clouds do if you look at them? I'm so confused. by Jackie on 2006-12-21 16:16:12 haha krig!! "here take a hit from my... water pipe..." speaking of intoxicants, i don't drink, but there is one alcoholic beverage that i like and drink when i deem drinking to be appropriate (like tonight) and for your edification it is lambics!! they are gueze (beer that isn't innoculated but rather put up in an attic to innoculate itself, like fancy cheeses in caves) that are then added fruit juice and further furmented! wineybeer! by mary on 2006-12-21 16:16:28 jackie i haven't seen any of those videos. sounds like grasping at straws to me. by mary on 2006-12-21 16:17:22 everytime i come on here i see "skaterboarding" and i think that would've been a much better title. by mary on 2006-12-21 16:18:41 Mary: They're up to the right. The one's "What the heck..." and the other's "Time to grow up" -- sorry, MoFun, if you're here and reading this. But it seems more desperate than itscassie. But it's always good to see people looking for clues and hints everywhere. by Jackie on 2006-12-21 16:20:20 oh btw, you can REALLY see the blonde hilights in this video when she's outside. i don't like em :( by mary on 2006-12-21 16:24:17 Yeah, itcassie is worth bitching about at the very least, but I kind of just ignore the mofun ones. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 16:25:12 Poor MoFun. I bet his hair's better than itscassie's at least. Why don't you like 'em, Mary? I've been kind of jealous of her hair. by Jackie on 2006-12-21 16:27:13 the vids on the right won't play for me, so i looked mofun up on revver... there are 24 videos- he did brees web, and some of the other "is this a watcher" videos... by mary on 2006-12-21 16:28:12 Krig: I was never was a big fan of Zipperhead in concept, but it definitely added to the atmosphere South Street used to have. I havn't seen anything in a long time. by noreaster on 2006-12-21 16:32:44 Jackie: I don't know about him as a person, but his videos are not awesome. Especially not his last one. He seems like the kind of guy who would sell a grilled cheese sandwich on ebay claiming an image of the virgin mary appeared on it. He's not as bad as the guy who buys that grilled cheese for thousands of dollars though. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 16:33:22 aww he's an old guy with a silly sense of humor! and DEFINITELY grasping at straws. but hey, why not? one thing's for sure: mofun should not take any hallucinogens, because if he's seeing watchers and faces in little splotches and bushes now, who KNOWS what he'd be seeing on mushrooms or something? by mary on 2006-12-21 16:33:25 The Deacons are now apparently posting as the Deacons.....see earlier post on this page. by modelmotion on 2006-12-21 16:34:23 http://www.lonelygirl15.com/?p=138#comment-31573 by modelmotion on 2006-12-21 16:36:32 Haha, the "Is Bree Safe with Jonas?" one is amusing. Speaking of Diamond, there have been a lot of jewellery references: Gemma, 'Gold and Jewels' from "Learning Egyptian", the emerald ring from "Proving Longitude Wrong", Jared Diamond from "Bree Phone Home"? Or am I just grasping at straws? by gnome on 2006-12-21 16:53:46 I actually was wondering if Gemma's name had any significance... What's with the name Bree? Short for something? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:00:17 so yeah, mofun has mostly 10 second clips of "suspicious" random images... but he does have like a 2.5 minute video of wild kittens playing!! that was a good one. and he has another long one of the wind blowing a tarp around. by mary on 2006-12-21 17:01:04 brianna? breemanda? breesica? by mary on 2006-12-21 17:03:04 "the wind blowing a tarp around" -- I seriously just peed a little. I don't remember which video it's posted under, but someone went through Gemma's videos to see what she said when she was wearing jewelry and posted her findings in the comments... I don't have time to go back and find it now, but someone here might remember and reference it for you all. by Perky on 2006-12-21 17:11:11 Haha, it's kind of cute, he thinks every black spec ever has to be a watcher. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:11:57 oh jackie! i don't like the blonde because it looks... too fake i guess. i mean i guess you're supposed to be able to see hilights and everything... i'm not the biggest fan of blonde tho and she looks more natural with the brown... i'm not explaining myself very well. i'm hungry. by mary on 2006-12-21 17:13:32 if you go to revver and look him up- it has all his videos and he has one of these wild kittens with their mama. all it is is 2.5 minutes of the mama sitting at the edge of his yard and the kittens playing like crazy by mary on 2006-12-21 17:15:44 Hahaha, Mofun guessed that Gemma was evil--- granted, it was based on the fact that she had a stylish fedora, but he guessed it nonetheless. Maybe she is Beta Ribozyme Engineered Extraterrestrial or something like that. by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:17:01 Haha, yeah, I'm there, it's just really random. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:17:02 hell yeah pinko it's really strange. he meets a random woman, concerned about bree, who then realizes bree is fake but p. monkey is real? and then happily kills herself? he makes it sound like she has this revelation upon realizing p. monkey is real but bree is a fictional character. and it comes right after his super ridiculous pun joke. i think mofun's brain might be a tiny bit tweaked, but i like kittens. by mary on 2006-12-21 17:21:25 good thinking gnome! ha! by mary on 2006-12-21 17:22:33 have you seen the smiley faces plus LOL over exclamation points= cats video? its by killthesmilies i think by mary on 2006-12-21 17:23:51 I think I might have the name of that movie wrong that I put down for my comment #728. Supposedly the river was named for her, but it is more likely that her name was actually derived from that of the river. ---------------------------------------- Just for the hell of it. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:31:01 thank you gnome! so good by mary on 2006-12-21 17:34:40 hahahahahahahaaaa mark day comedy is the best by mary on 2006-12-21 17:36:18 gnome D.A.R.Y.L http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088979/ by Alexi on 2006-12-21 17:36:18 #733 gnome D.A.R.Y.L http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088979/ by Alexi on 2006-12-21 17:37:05 i agree that he's harmless. we all know 2.5 minutes is a long time in the world of video. and he filmed kittens playing for that long. by mary on 2006-12-21 17:39:13 he was also totally inspired by a blue tarp on a windy day by mary on 2006-12-21 17:39:36 thanks Alexi! that's it. "Daryl" ("Data Analyzing Robot Youth Lifeform") by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:39:36 728: I missed this comment-- hahah, nice, I like that. And yeah, Gnome, I do remember that movie, and I'm pretty sure it was A.D.A.M-- it was actually on ABC Family somewhat recently (couple years ago). I can't find the movie though, for some reason. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:39:37 Oh shit, you're right. I thought it was ADAM too, for some reason. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:40:30 kinda off topic but do you guys also remember "Flight of the Navigator"? That was like the best movie ever! Nothing to do with LG15 but I just wanted to share that with you. If you haven't watched it, go rent it! by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:42:10 Hahaha, gnome, I do remember it. The I knew the name was familiar, so I looked it up in IMDB, and apparently it's actually playing on ABC Family on Dec. 30th. How random. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:45:32 I think there was a robot named A.D.A.M. but he was on a TV show. The movie I was thinking about was definetly D.A.R.Y.L. by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:45:44 OMG I am so stupid! A.D.A.M was on BUFFY!!! And here I just brought up the Buffy-verse Breeniverse similarities a couple days ago!! by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:46:43 #752 gnome ADAM is an ANT! haha... just kidding... adding humor to the convo ;P by Alexi on 2006-12-21 17:47:48 750! That's one of my favorite movies EVER! What was the ship's name? Did it have one? I can't remember. It was also kind of scary, though... the boy being away from his parents and maybe not being able to get back to his time and being like institutionalized. Kind of terrifying. by Jackie on 2006-12-21 17:49:31 Now I'm stupid! Tt's ATOM ANT not ADAM ANT! haha by Alexi on 2006-12-21 17:49:44 What year was that ADAM movie made Pinko? by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:50:24 Has anyone seen Watership Down? "haven't seen my parents in about a month, but hey, i'm sure they're okay. or dead. or whatever. maybe Daniel's dead or missing too, since he was scared to go home for fear of being killed or captured. whatever--i'm going skateboarding with this stranger i met over the Internet! Sincerely, Bree." by Danie1beast on 2006-12-21 17:53:29 Actually there's an animated version of Jack and the Beanstalk that I really loved-- by Gisaburo Sugii, it was actually really freaky, and kind trippy with this crazy 70s music. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:53:38 figured out which actor is leaving yet? by Danie1beast on 2006-12-21 17:54:04 #755... didn't the kid call the ship "Max?" by Perky on 2006-12-21 17:54:10 according to wiki the ship's name is Max, here it is on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flight_Of_The_Navigator apparently sarah jessica parker was in that movie by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:55:14 I got Adam and Daryl confused, as you did. I meant that Flight of Navigator is playing on Dec.30th. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 17:55:18 I remember Watership Down - it was one of those cartoons that scared me. Anyone remember "The Secret of Nimh"? That movie also freaked me out for some reason. by gnome on 2006-12-21 17:56:56 I remember The Secret of Nimh, and I remember watching my little sister watch the sequel which was really bad. Yeah, you thought Watership Down was going to be about fluffy bunnies, but then they started tearing each other apart. I read the book later, in middle school. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 18:06:56 Assuming Jonas knows more, what he said at the start of this video actually does make sense: "I don't know if you knew this, but when somebody goes missing it actually takes a few weeks before they're classified as missing. (...) I was just trying to take her mind off of her parents. I just think that sometimes if you can just clear your head, you can see things from just a whole new perspective." He wants Bree to take her mind off of her parents, and see 'people being missing' from a whole new perspective. BREE is now in his house, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Seen from the eyes of society, she is missing too. I'm not quite sure why he would want to point that out to her though, as it is a somewhat creepy thought. by anironminuial on 2006-12-21 18:18:27 Does anyone know what time itscassie was going to be in chat? by robtomorrow on 2006-12-21 18:22:44 Like, "Muahahha, no one will know will come looking for you for WEEKS." by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 18:24:07 Hehehe exactly PinkoLady :-) by anironminuial on 2006-12-21 18:27:20 Oh and another thing, about what Bree said at the end: - *He* did research for a bunch of companies. - *He* specializes in ribozymes. I like that word. It's always "he", until all of a sudden: - I made a joke about Newton's laws of motion today, when I fell off my skateboard. *You* would've laughed. Bree might have realized the Powell message was a clue before skating or maybe she realized it while sitting on the board, but in any case she has enough time before the library scene to dial the number again and figure out the clue. So I think this last sentence in the video was definitely the clue her dad asked for. I'm curious to see what will happen a week from now. by anironminuial on 2006-12-21 18:37:57 robtomorrow, I guessed it was tied to the solstice, Midnight in someone's time zone... by NAXAN on 2006-12-21 18:39:05 #695 PinkoLady Yeah, it's Crash Bang Boom now. I don't think I actually ever bought anything there, I just liked it being there. It seems like once it closed, South Street went downhill from there, although that great used bookstore Book Trader left first and went to Old City. Now everything else is closing up, one by one. Yay! That's progress in Philadelphia! So did you guys figure out yet when itscassie will be in chat? I just checked and she wasn't there. In the video she did allude to the fact that it would be late for Bree. by krig on 2006-12-21 18:44:36 The winter solstice was at exactly 7:22pm EST (GMT -5) this evening. So waiting for midnight wouldn't be necessary for the itscassie chat. You hear that, itscassie? Get on with it! by krig on 2006-12-21 18:48:43 Ayyye, Book Trader is gone? Last time I was on South Street, it was for like five minutes and I noticed Zipperhead was gone. The Pontiac was the first thing to go though, I think that's really what marked the turning point... because once that cleaned up, all my mohawked friends left. And yeah, I like that everything good is being replaced with CASINOS. Gah. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 18:57:39 So... is that an hour and 22 minutes from now, based on the times in these comments? It's 9 my time. by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 19:02:03 Yeah, Book Trader went to Old City. They couldn't afford the rent anymore. Time Zone is going out of business too. Progress = Foxwoods Philadelphia meep meep meep meep meep meep So the winter solstice is upon us everybody! Does that mean we can expect something weird is going to happen to Bree? Will they activate the bizarre cyber-genetic chip they injected into her body so that she starts rapidly mutating? Woo, accelerated mutation! by krig on 2006-12-21 19:03:08 #771 anironminuial she still says "he" not "you" :> by Jo_16_2 on 2006-12-21 19:05:21 #776 PinkoLady No, it has already passed. It was 7:22pm Eastern Time. I think these comments are actually on Mountain Time, which is weird. So, it was at 5:22pm Mountain Time, right when mary commented at #731. Go mary with the being attuned to the changing of the seasons! by krig on 2006-12-21 19:07:17 I wonder if the Creators are Stargate SG-1 fans? In the Six Season the character DANIEL Jackson ascends to a higher plane and is replaced in that season by JONAS Quinn. Purposeful homage or mere coincidence? by gnome on 2006-12-21 19:09:23 wow i just came back and my name was there! awesome! i was just checking in before i go a-grocering... hellz yeah i'm always interested in the moon and seasons and the such. as a crazy person, these changes affect me noticably ;) if itscassie shows up in the chat, send her my regards. HA! by mary on 2006-12-21 19:14:38 PinkoLady and krig... I'm in Pittsburgh, and it's just as bad... and they announced yesterday which casino they sold out to (which probably means we're going to lose the Pens) :-( by Perky on 2006-12-21 19:19:26 wow, lots of people in the chat already! but no odzamran. by krig on 2006-12-21 19:28:03 #771, when she says "you," I'm pretty sure she was talking to us, as in, the viewers. Also, has anyone else been getting "WordPress errors" like crazy the past several minutes? by PinkoLady on 2006-12-21 19:28:35 771 and 778: Isn't it because she's saying "he" in reference to her father, then she addresses Daniel in the end, so she addresses him directly by saying "you would've laughed"? by Jackie on 2006-12-21 19:31:31 #784 yes, the server is already stressed... and I have a feeling this "chat", if it happens, isn't going to happen for a couple of hours yet by Perky on 2006-12-21 19:31:39 yep, word press errors, revver is undergoing maintenance and the chat sucks. yay! by krig on 2006-12-21 19:33:41 So The Creators were in the chat and they say that this is interesting fanfic, but that's all they know. But, here's the rub: they said itskassie is interesting fanfic, and when we asked them if they meant itscassie or itskassie, they didn't answer. I assume they don't mean voyboy, because he isn't even trying to fit in the story, he's just spoofing. Thoughts? by krig on 2006-12-21 19:49:17 Ok, the Creators just said, with all certainty, that "itscassie is very cool, but not canon". So there it is. by krig on 2006-12-21 19:51:00 *sneeze* *sneeze* winter solstce, had to get back in here for a heavy duty fix fore all the holiday madness commences.. *sneeze* *sneeze* No, I'm not part of the ill LG15 horde.. just allergic to the pine cones I bought to make the house smell great. 3 more days and they're out of here!! *meep* (severe marble shortage ATM, can't spare more :( just want to wish everyone a hug and warm, filled up tummy for the holidays! It's also believed that the external and internal are parts of the same conciousness;Part of the collective concious that is what we are made of. I won't single out Thelema because I'm not very knowledgeable in that area, but many occult philosophies are based around the idea that the Higher Self and the Spirit Guide and the Guardian Angel are all the same. It's all written by one hand only. For instance: The Book Of The Law was dictated by Aiwass (a seperate being), but it was Aleisters hands that physically put the words to paper.
