so. it looks like we're supposed to be watching OpAphid things now, right? because we SAW someone ransacking her room before they posted this. which means they must be a part of it. hmm.

they don't have any money left. for gas or anything ($100 won't stretch) i see jonas being worked more firmly into the plot. where else can they go? except BACK to look for Bree's parents, which she doesn't seem to want to do. because she's scared? so either they finally start searching, or they end up at Jonas's, which i still suspect is a trap. either that or a victim of bad writing.

owen got damaged. anyone think that maybe he's bugged now? or there's some other clue that's been left with him?

(i can't believe he just left her alone after finding that) and daniel finally snaps. eek. he was pretty mad.

i wonder if there's anything else that's missing from their stuff? did they just get out fast as possible, or did they check to see they had everything else but the money?

ok, so bree and daniel came back from their thanksgiving hike to find their room had been ransacked. all their money was gone, except for the $100 in daniel's pocket. daniel was so angry he just walked away i guess and left bree there for a while. then he came back, they packed up and left (daniel changed in a public restroom). they couldn't get the rest of the week's deposit back from the motel people. they don't know where they're going. daniel gets very upset at bree and tells her to shut up. he wants to go back home, but bree doesn't want to.

also, it looks like owen has been attacked. he has a band-aid on anyways. maybe he's been cut and she couldn't sew him up so she put the bandaid on. i'm thinking maybe he was cut to either put in a tracking device, take something out, or hide another clue that they haven't discovered yet.

i'm also thinking with the loss of funds they are either going to HAVE to go back or meet up with jonas (and i suspect he is a part of it all)

also, in the viewer's strip on the right there is a vid called "Adventures in Babysitting" that doesn't have any words, but shows the place being ransacked. that was posted right around the time we found out she olst her room key when the thanksgiving vid was posted.

Yeah, I agree with Gemma's Flatmate, Jonas is going to conveniently appear in the chat and say that he has a house and wow, it's only round the corner!! lol! I think it will be nice to have him in the story, but only if it is written well and seems realistic. Personally I am in favour of having Jonas in the main story line, I think Bree and Daniel need an injection of something new into the story because it is becoming a little stale.

Thirdly,
I watched the opahid video and when you compare the state the two rooms were left in, they are different, there are a few things the same, such as books on the bed-side table, but where else you going to put books!? I don't think it's officially canon because, a ransacked room was kind of a dead cert and I think they took a lucky guess. I think there would be a lot of outrage if that were to happen!!  It's like on a lot of scifi shows where the most difficult situation is resolved by the end of the episode.  I think they call those "reset button" episodes.

And as new OpAphid videos come out with the Cassie theme, the colors get darker and darker. We started out with a clear view of a girl, but as the videos progress there's like a color filter put over her. Somehow I feel like they're counting down to one big moment. I just saw your list.  One thing that I find weird is that the first names listed are from cast/crew/creators etc... and then what appears to be just fans then some accounts for those with involved in the story like OpAphid.

Maybe they planned for having the characters on the chat room, but have it completely controlled so they created some accounts for this reason.

If they decide to control it than it will be a complete let down to a lot of people.  If they don't control the chat it will be a complete disaster.

I so saw this coming. In Thanksgiving, at 32 seconds, you see these guys walking away from Daniel's car. Later, Bree says that she lost her room key. Then she gets ransacked. They steal her money, but Owen had a tear in him. They must have been digging through her stuff looking for something, and they gashed open Owen. They want something from Daniel. Not Bree. Daniel. There are clues to this in Following the Helper. Lisa has pics of Daniel on her computer. (She's smast to use Kodak Easyshare, but that doesn't matter) They also set up the fake ceremony so Daniel would follow. Then Gemma warns them about a watcher. Everywhere they go, there's a suspicious guy (look for a man in a blue suit in the movie theater in Date w/ P Monkey. That's all I really know. This seems far fetched, but maybe Daniel was part of the Order, and he knows valuable info. He tries to become friends with Bree at school, to lead her into some sort of trap. But along the way, Daniel decides he shouldn't be doing that and he sides with Bree. Now the Order might be trying to scare him into going with them again. That's just an idea, but it might have some truth.

I think that's exactly how it's going to work.  I did something like this for an exec at one of my jobs once.  I was one of 10 people who was suppose to look through all the question and just pick the good ones and send them to the exec.  Sadly our job then became to actually come up with good questions, because no one had any.

I totally agree with a lot of people about Bree acting immature. We all saw her videos in the beginning &amp; we know how funny she is, but I find it hard to believe that even someone like that would still be making pointless videos when her parents are missing &amp; she's on the run from a potentially dangerous cult. I'm starting to like Daniel a lot more just because he's actually realistic. He doesn't even have to be doing this for her, &amp; it seems like she doesn't appreciate it.

Secondly. I think there needs to be a little bit of action. Even though speculating is kind of fun, the videos themselves are getting boring... I mean, they're being followed by a creepy cult &amp; they have one friend with similarly freaky experiences &amp; another whose parents mysteriously disappeared... there are SO many oppurtunites there. I'd love to see Jonas look around that giant mansion of his &amp; discover traces of his parents' membership in whatever cult this is. &amp; maybe that would explain their disappearance.

I'd also like to know a little bit more about this cult. Yeah, it's creepy, but I want to be more scared, lol. Since they're so secret, it makes people afraid of the unknown... but if some of our fears were confirmed, that would be awesome, haha. Maybe they could post a video of something scary to intimidate anyone so that we won't help Bree out?

It is better to try to relieve stress with laughter and make the most of a crappy situation.
Now granted, in Bree's case the word "horrendous" or "dangerous" would probably be more accurate than "crappy", but still!
Look, what good would being glum or angry do her right now? None. It is better for her to relieve her stress and clear her head so she can think clearly about what to do.
And that's the key. I'm not saying she should sit around talking to her stuffed animals all day, but she needs to do something to bring her back from the edge of fear and crazy so she can start dealing with the situation at hand. This is her way of doing that.

I understand where you're coming from about how Bree's acting.  I've had some stressful situations in my life (but no weird cults chasing me).  I think Daniel's acting that way, because he deals with stress differently.  He's never really liked being on camera from the beginning of these vlogs. Before you go to another motel, i honestly think you should consider your other options.  First of all, if somebody ransacked your room, you should go to the police.  I know your gut reaction says not to, but they are only out there to help you in situations just like the one you are in.  Second, do you have any family nearby?  Grandparents, or an aunt or something.  If so, I would try to stay with them.  The more people you bring into this mess you have on your hands, the safer you'll be.  Thirdly, (and this option is the hardest to swing, but most likely the safest) did you ever think about maybe flying over to england and staying with Gemma?  She seems like she would jump at the chance to help you, and you guys have been friends for so long.  Fourthly, maybe you could go to Daniel's parents for a few days and stay there.   These are just things i came up with while brainstorming.  But I really don't think you should go to another motel, becuase they don't seem safe, and whoever it is that is following you will just follow you there.  I really hope that things turn out ok for you Bree.  Who ever thought that this ceremony would turn out like this?  Anyways, best of luck. 1) Make the link for the chat tomorrow HUGE and brightly colored (temporarily) or people will miss it.

2) For new fans, you requested a "story so far", and I don't know if that exists or not.  BUT... A single link to a new page which contains links to all videos would be necessary and fun for new fans.  (Yes I know, you can already get to them all from the main page, but it's not obvious how to get to the first video, which you would view first, if you're seeing the site for the first time.)  So again I suggest one link to a page full of ALL the videos... and the links should bring up a new window so the navigation page remains.  And on that page, the first video should be at the TOP, not the bottom.  Arrange them in a grid so it's all on one screen without scrolling.

These suggestions won't help those of us who have been fans a long tim.  I know how to get to chat and I know how to see all the videos. there are some lyrics from the veggie tales movie jonah for those who dont know the story about jonah. :D basically the god tells this dude jonah to go to ninevah, jonah's like "hells no! i ain't goin to ninevah! people in ninevah suck!" and he goes in the opposite direction. then god is like... "umm... you're gonna mess with ME?!" so this giant fish eats him. and then pukes him back out. then jonah's like "fine man, ill go to ninevah" and he goes and preaches god's word and then all the people repent and god saves the town and jonah gets all in a huff again so he runs off to mope. then god makes a tree grow over him and then has a caterpillar eat it the next day.

The people following Bree and Daniel are probably watching these videos somehow. This would explain how they keep finding them as well as them watching Gemma. The only way they would know Gemma is involved is through the videos. What I think they should do is upload new video blogs a few days after filming to mislead the people following them. That way they would be a fair distance away before the Order or whoever finds the new location. 

Obviously, they have to keep moving rather than hiding out in motels.
