I think everything happens for a reason in this video.  Especially the suit in the store, because it was in such close proximity, if nothing else than to make us keep guessing.  But the position of his body is interesting.  He's in position sort of turned towards daniel, as if he's looking at him.  But I guess, if I saw some dude in a grocery store with a camera I'd be looking at him too.  But I definitely think if the guy at the pool is following them, then the guy in the grocery store is. I don't think it was an accident that we saw both a suited man in the store and the creepy foot shadows outside their door.  Things tend to happen for a reason in this series.  Even if the videos rarely confirm the validity of our explanations for them.

What's more is that the man in the grocery store was out of place and acting strangely.  I consider myself somewhat of an expert on grocery store behavior, because I go to them almost every day, and no one just stands rigid staring at cereal boxes.

If that's not enough to convince you, I think that no person has ever been shown in any of these videos except for actors involved in the plot.  Especially in a grocery store, you might expect to see other people, but they are carefully cropped out of the video.  The only person that we get to see who doesn't fit in (and this goes for the "exploring the motel" video too) is Mr. Creepy Inasuit.

I thought the ending was really abrupt too, and noticed that right before it ended, the camera kind of fell down so that the center of focus was at the base of the door, and then Daniel shuts it off. And his upper body wouldn't block the peephole if he's crouching down to listen at the crack in between the door and the frame, or at the keyhole, although there probably isn't one...

And people who say that the people in suits could be there for other reasons, tell me... how many useless extras have you seen in this show? How many people who they have to pay just to walk around without adding anything to the plot, keeping in mind that this is not exactly a show with a huge budget. Did you see pretty much anyone else at all, other than the guy in the black suit?

Yes, it is true that people wear suits all the time for other reasons, and if this were real life, I might be more inclined to agree with you. But the creators have made a point of stressing that the bad guys in this show wear suits repeatedly. LOL!  The more I think about it, the more I think you're actually right about the "orange forshadowing."  After watching the video again, I think that the most ominous and creepy part of the video is where Bree is looking at the camera with the orange wedge in her mouth!

And this after Daniel mentions how grocery stores specifically have oranges and his relatively long shot of the oranges on display.  Not to mention that these "orange forshadowing" scenes are together with the very creepy shots of the suited man and the unmoving foot shadows outside their door--and the fact that Daniel cuts off mid-sentence!

I think we can expect major plot developments soon.  But I think it's clear that they haven't gotten into too much trouble just yet--they were able to finish editing and uploading the video.

But it's really hysterical that:  a) the creators have actually followed the evil orange fan plot in the video boards and b) incorporated it into the series!  First they aknowledge N2PTF (ok, maybe) then the oranges?! You know what's funny? I was half just being silly, but it did seem odd to me that we see orange- the fan code for (or symbol of) evil- and then there's the suggestion of something bad happening. :P Plus, I was an English major as an undergrad. EVERYTHING is foreshadowing to an English major. 

I also thought maybe it wasn't fan motivated, but then I was like, "how many times in that video did Daniel say oranges or show oranges? Did he say bananas half that much? I don't think so. He barely acknowledged the existence of the lesser fruit."

This all came out of a weird conversation on the mainpage comments about Daniel maybe working at a 7-11 or something, which turned into a conspiracy theory about why the orange slurpee nozzle on the machines never work or something along those lines. Eventually, it was decided that the slurpee machines were being tampered with by the cult and the orange slurpees were being drugged. Orange slurpees, in the world of the comments page, came to be the official drink of evil. That morphed into a video from Hooray on the run from evil orange juice, and before you know it, oranges and anything colored orange became associated with evil.

Daniel brought Bree oranges.  He also didn't flinch when he saw the suited man in the grocery store.  He went there to meet with the cult and receive instructions from them.  I think he's keeping Bree where they know where to find her, and then he's going to turn her over to the deacons. 

The deacons had to separate Bree from her parents somehow, because her parents were going to allow her to call the ceremony off.  So Daniel is doing this for money?  Maybe?  Or maybe he's been brainwashed?  What is it with me and brainwashing?

It was a guy shopping. I doubt there's any more to it than that. People do go shopping in suits ya know. And there could have been someone standing at the door, but who knows, there could be a couple explainations for it.


As for being first.. It's like people who fansub anime or Toku or any foreign shows and the people who download the subs bitch and complain about how they take forever to come out and then the subbers come back and tell the people who were bitching to get over it.. also, after watching a few times, i do not see any arm on the passenger side of the car, EXCEPT for the other car that is filmed in passing. just like the farm truck. if you really want evidence someone else is in the passenger seat (which... well of course. we all know it's a fictional story now... trying to prove it's NOT real is silly. exercise that suspention of disbelief) but if you want to by nitpicky- the driver couldn't have zoomed and focused on all the different things while he was trying to drive. k? but we're pretending he can.

yay for oranges! among all the vlogs and post discussions, i missed the orange slurpee thing, but i have come to appreciate that. also, yay for daniel.

man in the suit- someone said that if it's going to be in the film it's probably intentional (especially since no one else is caught) yeah. probably right. also right is the one that said people walk around in suits everywhere all the time. but suit= foreshadowing.

if those were feet, they stood really still for a really long time. listening to the whole conversation? for what purpose? in the grocery store i did notice the slight bump/cut after the suit. daniel kept talking like he hadn't made a cut... it was almost imperceptible but i did notice it. i wasn't too sure if it was as pronounced as i thought after watching it a few times.

it might be daniel is with the decons. hopefully not. we've seen him be kinda crazy (what with breaking into a stranger- lucy's- appartment) but a relationship has been built with Bree since before the ceremony. also, i would be disappointed if daniel were with the decons for the sole reason that everyone is predicting it now. it would be somewhat validating to be right, but it would be a pale victory in the face of some new twist or development. also, daniel is her protector. if he goes, she's on her own and vulnerable; how is she supposed to conquer and save her parents alone and naive as she is? she'd also be taken unaware and wouldn't be able to fight back from a trap like that.

Gemma i'm suspicious of. in her first post she says hi. then, when bree decides to not go through with the ceremony... she gemma gets upset and tells her it's not a choice she has the right to make. it seems, at least to me, that her message is "just go with it. they are more powerful than you, you got an honor i wanted how can you turn from that so easily... lots of people know more than you just go through with the ceremony." soon after, she was rooting for bree and telling her to get away. bree also never said gemma was ever her friend. she actually said she never made ANY friends in england ("not one.") and then when gemma said hi, she said "oh, of course i remember you! your DOG was my only friend" she never said gemma was ever her friend. she goes back and forth too much, i'm suspicious. as for the scriptwriting of gemma... i'm ok with the introduction of a new character... but she should be her OWN character, different that the two they already have. her own characteristics and personality. gemma imitates bree's characteristics too much. she doesn't seem to have much purpose. least, not yet.

they can't show bree and daniel just... "going at it" or whatever. bree's an innocent character... it's not really in either of their personalities. she freaked out when she was kissed for the first time. and even if their relationship deepened, they wouldn't be doing much physical stuff in front of the camera. at least, i'd hope not. it would happen in the rest of their day, and they would talk about it later. if it's porn you want, go somewhere else. the internet is full of the stuff.

my favorite vlogs are still the hiking one, the swimming one, "on the run" and now this one. this one called back to the simpler time in the beginning of the show... a sweetly innocent crush developing.

also, the "eat up" line of daniel's seemed to be a weird/abrupt ending. and bree making an orange smile seemed very bree (despite the evilness of oranges.)

  Someone mentioned that maybe there are more videos lately because donations are poring in.  Look at the list of donators.  There are 56 at this posting.  At $5 each, that is a whopping $280.   Wooo Hoooo!!!!  Bet the creators went wild with that.  I can see how when they got started, not much money was required.  The camera cost them $150, and they came out with a thee minute vid once or twice a week.  But I would bet with a very active web site to maintain, and at least three regular actors (I'm betting its now four), and several locations, this is starting to take a little bit of money and a very great deal of time, which as we all know very definitely equals money.  The three creators all had jobs before lonelygirl15, and I am betting that all this has cut into their regular income quite a bit.

   I was introduced to this series when the discovery of Jessica's identity hit the news.  I was intrigued with the new mode of story telling, and impressed with the creativity and professionalism I saw.  I must admit, for a little while there I was disappointed.  I told my husband that I only kept watching because I couldn't believe that as much talent as I saw earlier couldn't produce more than I was seeing now.  I must say, my patience has paid off. Dorigen promises Aurelius that she will become his lover if he can make the rocks in the sea disappear, because she fears her husband's ship will crash upon them.  Aurelius manages the feat, the husband returns safely, and Dorigen tells her husband of her promise.  He says she must keep her word, and she goes to do so, only to be released from her vow by Aurelius, who now realizes how much she loves her husband.

Perhaps someone Bree loves will press her to keep her promise and go through with the ceremony? This vid has CONFIRMED all of my suspicions about DB being in on thing!

1. As observant as he is he didn't even flinch at the suit in the cereal aisle...eventhough he knows to be on the lookout. 

2. "Eat up" Sheesh DB she just woke up and is thanking you for things and that's all you say? Is it because you did in fact DRUG her yougurt?!

3. He didn't even mention the feet under the door which was in clear viewing for him, Bree has no idea!

All along daniel has been in the right position to build Bree's confidence in him. He was following her to protect her, at the ceremony, pictures on lucy's computer, Parents telling bree to stay with daniel. What better way to keep an eye on somebody that be next to them and have their confidence.

However, I like "creators" because it reflects how they built the Breeniverse and turned it into something that people can interact with, like another world.

I hope that when people say "Deacon video" they mean they want a video with the Deacons in it... not a video made BY and posted BY the Deacons.  That would be a million times more implausible than Gemma or Daniel being on here.  Implausibility hasn't stopped the Creators on other occassions (eg, some people argue Daniel would not have posted himself breaking into Lucy's house, but it's on here anyway), but I feel that a Deacon-posted video would be too much of a stretch.  M suspension of belief would go *splat* and I'd be so disappointed.
That being said, I really would like to know what the heck they are up to!

And I maintain that the Deacons posts (the creepier, better researched ones) are probably the start of another ARG or story (a la CiW).  Keep an eye out for clues o_O
