dang she's ugly
by holy smokes on 2006-11-14 20:50:43

She needs a blue light to check for you know what.
by jake on 2006-11-14 20:52:38

This is really getting boring now.
by Barry on 2006-11-14 20:53:33

I still say these two should go cross country. Uncover more clues as they move along from state to state, or unravel more of the mystery of this cult as they go along (having run ins with former members, etc). Head over to New York City!
by Musique36 on 2006-11-14 20:55:12

Holy Cow...that was a cute vid but I'm kind of ready for the plot to start moving along now.
by Jen on 2006-11-14 20:55:43

woah. she looks grimey. XD oh well. yay for an update!
by molly on 2006-11-14 20:55:51

Am I first?
by beenbag on 2006-11-14 20:55:57

Finally, a new video. It seems such a long time in between when you are waiting for something important to happen!!
by rebeccaNZ on 2006-11-14 20:56:38

yay!
by Anna on 2006-11-14 20:57:02

I think I've stayed in that motel before.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 20:57:26

Yeah top 25!!!! My god this video is not the best but still watching
by Sim7lizard on 2006-11-14 20:57:50

so... i don't like to complain, because i appreciate all the work that goes into these, but i'm concerned lonelygirl15 might've just jumped the shark. i like Gemma. why did she try so hard to imitate bree last video? and here, well... it's a stretch to bring back the antics of happy times when these kids are running from a secret society run by prominent community leaders. but i'll keep watching, no worries :-P
by mrfett on 2006-11-14 20:58:06

Whaa! One of the first!
by my.highest.mountain on 2006-11-14 20:58:33

*actually 13th*
by my.highest.mountain on 2006-11-14 20:58:50

YAWN YAWN YAWN Cute, good points, but MAN, where is this going??
by Nichole on 2006-11-14 20:59:13

Nice motel... not unlike the other ones...heheh
by Michael on 2006-11-14 20:59:17

Blah blah blah, whatever. I would actually like to seem them be intimate for once. They're always apart. It's weird.
by Name (required) on 2006-11-14 20:59:50

is there any direction anymore?? these are getting a little boring
by liz on 2006-11-14 20:59:55

Why not try to find out more about the cult you have been raised in and that seem to have kidnaped your parents. That might be more fun... and worth while. Or you could prove science wrong.
by mike on 2006-11-14 20:59:56

I bet they get found at the hotel by the deacons.
by Alexis on 2006-11-14 21:00:16

they need to leave, gemma's last vlog creeped me out
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:01:46

she did picture shots in the video she hasnt done that b4 bayme a sign that opa[hid is part of the series?
by Sydney on 2006-11-14 21:02:59

It kind of bugs the crap out of me when she says bye.... And who noticed the man in the suit walk behind her when she was checking off the dirty pool box?? Who wears a suit at a motel?????? Could it be a spy???
by dudette on 2006-11-14 21:03:25

I kinda hope they get caught by the deasons cause this one was kinda boring
by Alexis on 2006-11-14 21:03:37

good job...not all are the same hotel...bt they have the same stuffs...
by Cid on 2006-11-14 21:03:43

Or you could prove science wrong...lol. Good one Mike. I also would like to see them get more intimate. :)
by Emily on 2006-11-14 21:04:33

btw i always diligently click on the stupid ads at the ends of these
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:05:33

I'm actually in the top 50. I can't believe I'm actually posting when I got here. At least it's not a gemma vid...
by TheGreenLaceBeauty on 2006-11-14 21:06:22

when will she ever get to the point where they run out of money, out of parents, out of help and start actually worrying about the fact that her parents have been kidnapped? this videos are taking forever to make and they are far too short... and what's with daniel always reading something, even the bible? why don't he and bree actually start acting as if they cared they're might be in danger... are they now a couple¿ are they having intercourse?
by lola on 2006-11-14 21:06:41

FIRRRRRSSSSSTTT!!!!!!!!@#$!@$$#!@~!!~~ For the General! *salutes*

by mary on 2006-11-14 21:07:24

woot
by starlady on 2006-11-14 21:07:25

i wonder why she hasn't addressed gemma since her video telling gemma everything would be ok
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:08:27

ADORABLE VIDEO!
by HoorayForMeImMakingOut on 2006-11-14 21:09:39

First, Daniel haven't you ever seen that expose on motel comforters? How they are like the direst things on earth and all sorts of gross stuff are found when you put the blacklight to them? You are never supposed to lay on top of them, even if it is something you characteristically do! We aren't in Bree's bedroom any more toto! Also, NEW CHARACTER AHOY!! Anyone notice the person seen on screen while Bree is pointing out the pool? If we abide by the everyone seen on camera is a character rule then.....
by HyeMew on 2006-11-14 21:09:47

also we're supposed to feel and notice her boredom... and they show her taking off her hat, kind of like taking off her happy lets talk about information to keep my mind off things hat. and then she's depressed. but she's trying. so bible reading- boredom induced or significant?
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:09:53

yeah i agree mrfett
by Anna on 2006-11-14 21:10:25

Does anyone else think it is potentially important that Daniel was reading the Bible? He has never been linked to the Christian religion before and it seems to stick out when juxtaposed with Bree's cult/secret society background. Was he just bored because they couldn't find the remote control, or is this the beginning of a new plotline, a clash of religions? Only time will tell...
by desertrose456 on 2006-11-14 21:10:51

Something to do tomorrow? Hey I have an idea... Find your parents!
by chloe on 2006-11-14 21:11:24

the man just made me feel more like, run! don't do what gemma was saying, she was acting like a freak
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:12:13

ok... lets move it along now please!
by yesss on 2006-11-14 21:12:57

she looks so beat. they should find another motel, and not tell gemma that they moved motels (since she wouldnt know the difference, as we learned in this vlog.) unfortunately, she would have to not tell us, either.
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:14:05

This is moving slow. They need to get on the road and get the story moving!
by jenni on 2006-11-14 21:14:27

i miss the action, come back to me please?
by thebrianna on 2006-11-14 21:15:23

I LOVE LOVE LOVED this video Creators! Good job!
by HoorayForMeImMakingOut on 2006-11-14 21:15:25

significance to daniel reading the bible???
by TheGreenLaceBeauty on 2006-11-14 21:15:51

i would imagine we're supposed to infer that they are trying to figure out what to do from here, and where her parents are, etc, but we're also supposed to infer that they don't know yet, so they havn't told us. besides it might not be so smart to say what you're learning about in your vlogs. i dunno
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:15:53

ok "the deacons" have emerged again on the thread and this is interesting it seems like they are calling daniel a bad guy its an interesting twist "the deacons" are on the lgpedia http://lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php/The_Deacons is this legit could the creators be giving us a little info of whats to come?
by dantheman on 2006-11-14 21:16:13

top 50? kinad boring
by yourenodaisy on 2006-11-14 21:17:27

woot!
by yesss on 2006-11-14 21:17:57

hehe my scroll bar is getting smaller!
by yesss on 2006-11-14 21:18:30

I think I spotted a new stuffed animal in there- a teddy bear that said "Be Mine" on the sweater.... possibly from a certain Danielbeast? So let's get the story moving, I'm bored as all heck.
by changingwaters on 2006-11-14 21:19:57

so i'm not really one to atach signifigance to little things, but notice her beaded necklace. it could just be another attempt at cheering herself up... but perhaps it *is* a message to gemma
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:21:30

I liked this vid it was funny but it seems that they need to leave
by sera on 2006-11-14 21:21:54

ok now we know that Bree is definitley NOT Christian..and Daniel may not be either for that matter...what is this "Tattered bible from the hands of Danielbeast" I mean, who the hell tattered it??!! What a disgrace!!
by 707clique on 2006-11-14 21:22:24

off the beaten path, but hey, there is a jenni here who spells it with an i. w00t for us jenni's who are of the i persuasion.
by TheGreenLaceBeauty on 2006-11-14 21:23:35

hey wait a minute....daniel is reading that bible..
by 707clique on 2006-11-14 21:25:20

Mary, I noticed that in "Learning Egyptian", Gemma also had a beaded necklace and tugged on it while she said "I have to do more research".
by gnome on 2006-11-14 21:25:33

and why are the two pictures in the back exactly the same?
by 707clique on 2006-11-14 21:26:26

so when she says tomorrow, i'm expecting a new vid then
by taylor on 2006-11-14 21:26:49

FFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11!!!!1!1!!!!1!^1!6!!!!!^1!!!61!!
by General Firstsayer on 2006-11-14 21:27:16

yeah gnome that's what i was referring to, and that was the last video where she was acting pseudo-normal, and she talked about gold and jewels...
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:27:19

Really keeping it light, aren't they. I can't decide if it's Bree keeping up a brave front and being optimistic and attempting not to think of the life-threatening situation...or if they're a little light on the plotting skills. Either way, I enjoyed it. I wish I didn't have to see Gemma next. When's OpAphid going to track them down?
by runawaykite on 2006-11-14 21:27:48

707clique, it's a motel. haven't you stayed in one?
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:28:03

Let the Danielbeast speak!
by Sadie on 2006-11-14 21:29:12

hmmm... interesting, yet paralel to a abiding future conversation. i do believe, these persons have far to much to compensate, and the bible is only a holistic window to a new force
by gogo on 2006-11-14 21:30:29

I wonder if the shots have affected her mentality. I mean "You think being in a motel wouldn't remind of them but it does..." sounds kind of cold and shallow. I don't the writers would be that careless. The shots must have effected her mind. I agree with changingwaters Post #50 - Let's get the story moving. BTW - the Owen bit with the shower cap was hilarious.
by gnome on 2006-11-14 21:32:03

I guess I didn't miss much the past few days. I think they should have talked more about what they are trying to do to figure things out. It is a little much to just forget about everything that's happening.
by SuzyQs on 2006-11-14 21:32:29

Ooh yeah, that guy in a suit walking behind her during the pool scene is kinda creepy. It might not mean anything though.
by Nichole on 2006-11-14 21:32:59

yes I have, but every time the bible was in perfect condition, and the pictures were never exactly the same.
by 707clique on 2006-11-14 21:33:05

Oh and I don't think the person by the pool was a spy - James Bond usually doesn't carry take-out around.
by gnome on 2006-11-14 21:35:41

...unless the take-out was designed by Q to contain miniature guided missles and bullet-proof condoms.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 21:38:52

Come back to us اوريم وتميم No one means to harm you.
by The Deacons on 2006-11-14 21:44:39

They never used the soap. do they ever take showers?
by richard on 2006-11-14 21:45:17

Y'all aren't gonna believe this, but I really did mean to write 'condiments.'
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 21:45:35

First of all, I would like to go on record as saying that I find the whole series very interesting. I honestly wish I would have known about it BEFORE word got out, but oh well. After watching some of these vids I can honestly say that I am glad that it's not real. Teenage kids going through this kind of weird crap in actual life would really bother me. My kudos to the creators for the well-rounded characters of Bree and Daniel! I must agree with most everyone else on their dislike of Gemma, namely because there is something about her that doesn't "fit". Adding a character is fine, but I am confused at how Bree could have been "best friends" with this girl's dog and not be friends with her. Their age difference doesn't seem too drastic after all. Also, Bree never mentions Gemma in her earlier vids especially when she spoke about her life in England. Methinks this would be an important key to segue into a new character. Now, this girl shows up out of the blue and there's no real response from Bree, other than an aloof "Hello to Gemma" video. Bree makes no further comments to Gemma and asks no questions directly to her the way she did to Daniel's videos, so I wonder...is it because Bree doesn't know her (or want to know her) that well? Or is it something a little weirder, like maybe Gemma does have some connection to these "people" Bree and Daniel are trying to avoid. It is interesting after all, the "WHEN" of her first appearance in the timeline of Bree's recent life events. I do find that there is a very high similarity between the facial expressions and mannerisms of the two girls, which is also weird since they are not related and don't know each other well. Still, though, Gemma starts off as being concerned or serious and then goes into some strange "happy-la-la mode" as if this really isn't serious and there really isn’t anything at stake. Even though we know the show is not reality, there is still the storyline which consists of a 16 year old girl whose parents have disappeared. I love Daniel's character. Bree is perfect at acting 16. I don't know or care how old she really is. Daniel is so very much like so very many guys, it's scary! He has the demeanor and facade of a guy his age...even his in his "moods" he is brilliant. He may not have to do much to act the part, but he does it well, including the annoyed looks as she talks to the camera. I love it! Daniel is also appreciated of course, as he is very "knight in shining armor". Her parents are seriously shortsighted and I don't think they realized how much so until the stuff hit the fan, so to speak. Then, when the going gets tough they TELL her to stay with Daniel. Again, my kudos to the creators and the actors...I will definitely contribute monetary to this series as it is actually better than most crap on TV. Soap operas on TV spend hours every week and progress the story very, very little. Even if this story progresses little by little, at least it's only a couple of minutes at a time. Thank you, A Loyal Lonelygirl Fan
by Jennifer on 2006-11-14 21:45:38

Ha-ha... Anyone notice Danielbeast was on the bed reading again? That is so like him :). Hmm, it looks like he was thumbing through the scriptures. Anything significant, Danny boy? Best of luck to both of you! I'm sure the two of you will think of something to do together ;).
by A_Gray_Phantom on 2006-11-14 21:45:46

I think that man in the suit is with th reigion or cult or whatever it is supposed to be and that they've been found. The next video could be all "Ladee-dah-life-is-peachy" and then someone knocks on the door and Daniel's like "We have to go, now!" That'd be aweseome. I like action. =)
by Haley on 2006-11-14 21:45:50

you're lucky, then. i've been in one in s california where the door was bolted to the wall and the lock worked, but the door wasn't actually in the doorframe correctly, so it didn't really close... but it locked. I guess it depends where you are how nice the bible is and how creative your room designer was.
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:46:00

uh moondoggle... i believe you, but only barely.
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:47:06

Ricahrd, motels will give you more than one bar of tiny soap.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 21:47:32

lol mary...talk about a Freudian slip...
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 21:48:28

im just a little confused about a few things like: if these guys are like kids (16,17ish) where are daniel's parents? does he go to school? does he live alone? do his parents care that hes just out galavanting around? i know its fictional, but those are some topics that i think need to be covered... and they need to find another place to go or have a run in w/ her parents or somebody to get this plot moving, i mean we can only watch so many gemma and motel movies b4 ppl quit watching... newayz, if ne1 knows the answers to these things and maybe i missed, feel free to lemme know... thank ya
by sara on 2006-11-14 21:48:46

yeah they replace it when they do housekeeping.
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:48:48

word moondoogle. word.
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:49:15

Quality establishment....cough..Quality Inn Motel..cough..cough.Am I the only one that picked that up? DanielBeast reading the old bible eh. Why are people so in a rush to get to the end? Just enjoy it for what it is, a small piece to a larger puzzle. Some Motels have remotes but their permanently stuck to the dresser on side the vibrating bed.
by JeffParish on 2006-11-14 21:49:29

Not to sound rude 707Clique but I worked in a hotel and every picture above every bed was the same. Who's to say Bree and Daniel tattered the Bible - drunken kids renting it for their high school grad could have wrecked the bible playing 'keep away'. OR Maybe that was some sort of clue. Chill out its just a story. Speaking of Daniel and the Bible - this kind of reinforces the idea I posted on the "Proving Longitude Board" about 7:11-7:13 referring to the passage from the Book of Daniel about the fourth Beast.
by gnome on 2006-11-14 21:50:04

hey jeffparish nice additions
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:50:50

motels scare me.
by Jana on 2006-11-14 21:50:51

Ooo! Someone must've sent me a psychic signal to stop studying and check this site! I think this was terribly cute, and I found it interesting that Danielbeast was reading the Bible. I wonder what prompted that. I never noticed that he was particularly religious. I would kinda like Daniel to stop being a background prop and make a video. I know that's his old role, but we kinda got used to hearing the beast speak. Plus, I'd like to know what's going on, and I think if anyone's likely to be making the plans, it's probably Daniel. It's a little odd that they seem so content to lounge around just now. If they have a reason for that, I'd like to know it. Maybe not immediately, but otherwise it's just going to seem like Bree and Daniel have decided to live in the motel and never do anything useful again... until the money runs out and they're living on the streets. I've got to watch it again, I missed the guy in the background at the pool.
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 21:51:09

Incidentally, the Bible may just be tattered from being handled a lot. ;) It doesn't mean anyone chewed on it or anything rude.
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 21:52:55

Wow post # 29 the deacons
by bartstarr on 2006-11-14 21:52:57

in post #76 from deacons.. is that arabic? come to us... (BREE) no one means to harm you.. kinda like. that terrorist dude from true lies when he says, "GIVE ME THE KEY TO THE NUKCLEAR WEAPON AND I PROMISE YOU WON'T GET HURT!" but i guess he's serious.
by richard on 2006-11-14 21:53:59

I've been in rooms with tattered bibles and identical pictures, but there was always a remote control. Hmmm...remote control...to control remotely!..like the Deacons are controlling Bree and Daniel! That's it!...it all makes sense now...or...or does it... No. It doesn't. Nevermind...
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 21:54:20

hmm.. or unless the take out container actually contained an orange slurpee... just a thought.. just wish we could see what chapters daniel was reading... he's been in protection mode since they left.. which leads me to believe there might be something in the bible that can help them.. or at least that he's thought of something in there he's researching... and next time.. a close up of the suit guy.. guaranteed he's got orange lips!
by jc_gypsy7 on 2006-11-14 21:54:55

Just keep in mind that any idiot with a keyboard can come here under any screen name they like :-P
by The Deacons on 2006-11-14 21:55:24

Oh, wow, Moondoggle, then I definitely don't want James Bond delivering my takeout! :O Keep that stuff away from my sesame chicken, dude!
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 21:58:06

i would also like to hear daniel again. what is going on in his head? the absent-mindedness in the car, the mysterious map by the pool, he was clicking away at something on the laptop in the motel... what, daniel, what?!@?!?!? but then, maybe they can't say over vlog (and 1000s of viewers would cryyyyy and whiiiiine about how unrealistic it was if they did)
by mary on 2006-11-14 21:59:22

If this entire project was set up in the intent of appearing real . . . why don'tcha all get your panties out of a wad and go with the flow. If every single second of this was action, it would take away from the initial intent and integrity of the vlog. Now, pardon me whilst I pick out my wedgie.
by Jana on 2006-11-14 22:01:47

moondoogle- 98 made me laugh. it's exactly how i feel, all the time. "that's it! or is it... maybe not... no, nevermind"
by mary on 2006-11-14 22:01:39

Unless your sesame chicken is working for the bad guys, you should be safe. But you have to ask yourself before you take a bite,"Seasame chicken?...or glazed explosive ninja poultry of death?"
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:02:30

Didn't the Gideon Bible have something major to do with the whole Cassie Is Watching thing? Pages from a GB in the drops and what-have-you?
by eliza on 2006-11-14 22:03:55

um this is weird other comments are appearing and messing up the order of things... what's going on.. someone who knows about these things tell me
by mary on 2006-11-14 22:05:10

Ah...shower caps...brilliant
by Liv on 2006-11-14 22:05:35

I don't know if anyone has noticed but the numbers in the URL are back on track - this one is 106, last one is 105. The skipped ones were 101, 102 and 104. There are missing URL numbers early in the series - I don't know which ones. I possibly can't think of what this could mean (it was around the pre-ceremony videos).
by gnome on 2006-11-14 22:06:13

I dunno, I think an army of ninja poultry could be cool. The expression on the faces of the workers at KFC alone when the feathered army rolls in might be well worth being ruled by beings that poop EVERYWHERE. And when we finally defeat, we can have a big barbeque! Incidentally, Mr. Takeout Man is holding the bag awfully high. It's half-covering his face, a la Wilson from Home Improvement. Am I just imagining this? http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i92/kespohla/creepytakeoutman.jpg
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 22:07:36

Mary, when someone post for the first time, they post is 'held' until moderated. After it passes whatever test it's given it gets listed as the number it originally posted as. Does that make sense? I'm not sure...
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:07:55

I GOT IT!!!! THEY COULDN'T FIND A REMOTE CONTROL MEANS THEY COULDN'T FIND THE BUG/TRANSMITTER GEMMA WAS HINTING AT.
by gnome on 2006-11-14 22:08:43

EDIT- when we finally defeat THEM. *sigh* Ok, I'm going to look up the Bible text indicated above. It seems like a pretty good hint.
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 22:10:03

She did mention roaches...and not finding any.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:10:17

80, 87 for example
by mary on 2006-11-14 22:10:35

Or roaches can me - not finding any bugs.
by gnome on 2006-11-14 22:12:19

ok yeah moondoogle that makes sense. so to sara, now 87, daniel is 18 and has graduated. we presume he is not in school. we're not sure if he moved to live alone, but we know he at least used to live with his parents, and his parents are cool enough with him to let him leave for a few days with some friends and not to need more information than that.
by mary on 2006-11-14 22:15:26

BTw post 29 mentions alot of odd words like Asmodai, theis word is in hebrew and is a semi-Biblical demon mostly known thanks to the deuterocanonical Book of Tobit; he is also mentioned in some Talmudic legends and in demonology, as he is a leading figure in the construction efforts of the Temple of Solomon. Amongst many scholars, legends about Asmodai are thought to derive from Zoroastrianism, and incorporated into Judaism (and hence Christianity) during the Persian Achaemenids' rule over the Jews. since it's in the dead language of hebrew i must assume that the language they are using is old hebrew or modern day Farsior can also be Aramaic. the writting although not familur to me seem to be simular to that or arabic. it's.. uhh.. a far cry of egytpion mythology. but i assume there is some intent. Sonneillon is also mention and he is the Demon of Hate, and he tempts men with hatred against their enemies Pseudomonarchia Daemonum means Hierarchy of Demons so basicly everyone in the demond world as been alerted that bree has been reborn. and yes daniel did all the things that most horney teenager do to get a girl in bed. decieve and make a girl not belive in her parents. as was mention in post #29 Origenes Adamantius is mention too so when searched on wikipedia origen came up: he was an Early Christian scholar, theologian, and one of the most distinguished of the early fathers of the Christian Church. He is thought to have been born at Alexandria, and died at Caesarea. His writings are important as one of the first intellectual attempts to describe Christianity. his full name was origenes adamantius. there is alot more information there but i really didnt want to read through it all. it's basicly the whole life of origenes adamantius. they mention that Sariel is daniel beast. Sariel is one of the Archangles of the judiac / islamic tradition. but anyways there is lots of info about him being a deceptive angel and also known as "Suriel, the Angel of Death" lots of cool stuff really. but i write too much

well they answered the question about if there was only one bed. i really wish they would make out or something though. daniel, get off your ass and do her already!!!
by shawna on 2006-11-14 22:17:35

Great Vid. I liked that soft lighting on her. Is Dbeast working out? Hes looking a bit buff. Well I am afraid this is the calm before the storm. Something is about to happen.
by voyboy on 2006-11-14 22:17:59

Precisely what is going on here? One loves to mug for the camera. One loves to lay in bed and read. Leave it to love to make opposites attract. Found anything interesting, Bree? Look hard -- and deep -- for direction. One will have to get wet. One will have to get a towel. Revelations can be clear or clearly chlorinated. Keep what you find at the bottom. Etched clues will get you back on top of things. You'll know what to do next, my daughter.
by Moonpies on 2006-11-14 22:23:23

okay i did some more seach and i come to find that the odd writting of post #29 is actually arabic Urim and Thummim typically translated as "lights and perfections" or "revelation and truth". it is a divination medium or process used by ancient Hebrews in revealing the will of God on a contested point of view or other problem. dang.. the deacons are calling bree their light and perfetion.
by richard on 2006-11-14 22:23:41

Daniel is probably reading the bible because he is bored. Don't they have bibles in all American motels? I know in the motels I stayed in Australia there was a bible next to my bed.
by lilly50380 on 2006-11-14 22:26:08

You know, I wonder what the significance of what Daniel's reading from video to video is. Because in Proving Longitude Wrong, he was reading TIME, and he was holding it up spread out towards the camera, which I'm not sure he usually doesn. And then there's the clock in that video... I dunno... It may have been mentioned before, but I just went back to watch it and thought it was interesting.
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 22:27:43

Cool! He's reading the Bible!
by dawn on 2006-11-14 22:28:10

Richard, relax. We would never come to an internet fansite and leave secret names like اوريم وتميم for the whole world to see. We're much craftier than that. The posers above are merely imitators and will be dealt with accordingly.
by The Deacons on 2006-11-14 22:28:38

Gnome, I definitely think that Daniel reading the bible is a clue. And it likely does point to the Book of Daniel. I think this might have been a hint that your "proving longitude wrong" comment--that the numbers given refer to verse 7:10 of the Book of Daniel--was on the ball. Alternatively, Daniel could be doing some research on the Order. I suppose that while he's been glued to his laptop he's discovered at least something about this "not a religion." And it might point him towards biblical passages. In any rate, it should be a clue because Daniel is not Christian and probably wouldn't read the Bible just for pleasure.
by Treefunk on 2006-11-14 22:28:57

by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:32:40

HAVEN'T YOU GUYS NOTICED???? All of these videos have hidden morals. I'm not sure why...or what they all are. But these random ones aren't here for no reaseon...there has to be. Watch all of the other videos... They might alll have diffent clues just waiting to be found. Well that is my theory...follow it if you'd like... Raquel
by Raquel on 2006-11-14 22:35:09

LOL, Raquel! Hmmm...hidden clues. I'd have never thunk it...:-)
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:36:25

I just hope Daniel reading the Bible doesn't mean they are going to get all "born again" on us and end up in an Evangilical Jesus Camp. OH NO!
by robtomorrow on 2006-11-14 22:36:31

Also interesting to note that the editing of Bree's videos has become more aesthetically-minded. Earlier videos were edited solely for the purpose of entertainment and silliness (e.g., Bree dances around the room in fast motion). But her last several videos have featured some more artistic montages, such as: the clips of the train and passing parked cars to emphasize "being on the run" and this video's montage of motel images :) It's neat to see the character Bree growing as a vlogger! On a completely unrelated note, penny for Daniel's thoughts?? We haven't heard a peep from him in nearly a week!
by Treefunk on 2006-11-14 22:37:10

True, Treefunk. I'd never heard Bach in her videos before either.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:38:20

Ack, I'm going back to researching the cults. That, I'm a little more sure of. Btw, voyboy, I noticed that, too. I think Daniel HAS been working out. I am suitably intrigued. ;)
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 22:38:28

#128 but still. it was very crafty. and to say bree is the special one.. it fits.. the pieces fit. aside. the whole egyption thing. im sure if it were true the whole religion thingy would have to do something with the isrealites movemnt to the jerusalem. the hebrew language was present durring those times and the story does mention the egyption story tangently.
by richard on 2006-11-14 22:40:54

I like the Deacon's post. Who says you need a camera to get in on the fun? Seems like they've done a good bit of research too.
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-14 22:43:46

I just thought of this while reading the previous comments, as well after watching this video. You all know how Gemma mentioned how her family recieved letters from that family that went "missing" and they wernt really the "same" ... Well Bree had a note from her "parents" with money. I think the note was written by the Deacons. Daniel could still be apart of the whole cult thing, just being a watcher over Bree.....
by Aidan on 2006-11-14 22:49:34

Btw, guess what I found on a Golden Dawn web site? Bible verses 7:11-7:12, only of Exodus. "Many would scoff at the very suggestion that such a war of black magic could take place, but the Bible does not deny the existence of this evil power and on the contrary, it tells us that it does exist and forbids us to use and practice it. 11. Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. 12. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods. Exodus 7:11-12 (KJV)" Coincidence?
by Lizard on 2006-11-14 22:49:51

Bree! Stop sitting around the Motel and DO SOMETHING! Seriously, its time for you to go kick those Egyptian Cult peoples ASSES!

i didnt have time to read all the comments but daniel spent the whole thing reading the bible? i wanna know which chapter. its strange, hes never been associated with a religion before, but him being christian makes sence. i think this is important
by abba12 on 2006-11-14 23:13:04

If you guys could help me out with the project, I'd be more than grateful!! I'm so busy being at the bottom of my pyramid scheme and all! Bree is sooooo cute! She even brought her hat with her!! :)

when bree mentions missing her parents, daniel turns his attention from the book to her
by mary on 2006-11-14 23:23:40

um the bibles in all motels n hotels ive seen is the Gideon bible now pardon me if iam wrong but isn't that not a christian religion isnt it a totally different separate religion? and when did Daniel say he was christian? and even if he is he's always on the bed reading somthing, i relly dont think that Daniel reading the gideon bible in a motel were theres nothing else to do is significant (# 146)
by FINALLY on 2006-11-14 23:32:45

things you would find in this video - i love it - check i love bree - check i want to have a baby with her - check well - we all agree - its goooooooooooooood
by robin on 2006-11-14 23:40:56

You're wrong Finally! Sorry, someone has to say it. There is no such thing as a Gideon bible. Duh!! That is just an old wive's tale. Anyway, I'm sure that the passage that DanielBeast is reading is important to the storyline. These people know what they're doing here...
by Marbella on 2006-11-14 23:43:43

Well, I finally got to see this. It's kind of typical for a LG-15 video clip. It's fun and craftily done, but leaves us no real information. Any POSSIBLE clue seems likea STRETCH.. but the funny thing is, if WE see it and we believe it, it all becomes part of the plot! Did anyone notice that the chair she was sitting in was torn? Other than that, they motel looks better than a motel-6 or something like that. I agree with comments #4 & #5 and #12. I am relieved they are staying at a DIFFERENT hotel. I was kind of surprised to see Daniel reading the Bible. I also DID find it odd to see Bree in a sweater we have never seen before, with a necklace of dark beads around her neck. I believe they ARE similar to Gemma's! Was this a sign of some sort of solidarity? I don't know. She's never worn these beads before that I remember and I doubt she would waste her precious money on them while traveling on the road. I like that they have separate beds. I do imagine that at some point, Bree must get scared and want Daniel to hold her. At some point, they might end up sleeping together in an innocent way. I think they would do that way before anything sexual came up, if at all. I HAVE stayed in hotels where the remote control for the TV was missing. It's not that abnormal of an occurence, so they COULD just go to the front desk and get one. I will watch the video and watch for the passerby walking by the pool with chicken take-out. Don't you think it is POSSIBLE that sometimes, people just walk by and it doesn't mean anything? Oh well... those are all Marbella's thoughts for now..
by Marbella on 2006-11-14 23:44:23

Seriously guys, I am having such a bad day today. The only thing that was good was the new video. But, I definitely expected that tonight. Is the passage that Daniel was reading in the Bible important? I'm not sure. He's normally reading magazines on the bed, so it WOULD make sense that he would read the only thing available. It could ALSO be important to the plot. These writers seem tricky like that. I definitely disagree with Lizard. Sorry guy. Your comments are way out there. Don't quit your day job. Anyway, I'll read some more comments later. (I have a lot to say today! :)
by Marbella on 2006-11-14 23:52:30

Have you ever noticed that members of the same cult/fundamentalist religious group tend to look/act in disturbingly similar ways? Perhaps it's just inbreeding, or some kind of brainwashing program, but this could explain the similarities between Bree and Gemma, and why they both seem to always be so happy-go-lucky, even in the worst situations.
by newbie on 2006-11-14 23:52:45

It's kind of interesting how the camera set up kind of mirrors the set up in her room, with Daniel on the bed again reading.
by robtomorrow on 2006-11-14 23:54:34

why is her bed made,, and his is all messed up.. hrm.. IM CALLING C.P.S.!!!!

I did NOT write comment #154. Someone is masquerading as ME, just so you know. I said nothing about Lizard. I would never insult him or anybody with those kinds of words. Whoever is impersonating me,you are a total jerk.
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:03:46

Marbella, "I definitely disagree with Lizard. Sorry guy. Your comments are way out there. Don’t quit your day job." Marbella, I'm a gal. :P Just thought I'd put that out there. And I have to say, I am a Christian, but man you'd have to be desperate to read the Bible for entertainment. Sure, for study. But to pass the time? And it almost seems to get pointed out in a very unsubtle way. We probably wouldn't have known what he was reading if she hadn't gone to fetch it from him and point it out. I could be wrong, it has definitely happened before. :)
by Lizard on 2006-11-15 00:04:34

Oh, phwew, I was wondering. I was like, "Oh, wow, that was the fastest I've ever fallen from social grace. In the space of hours, I went from being cool to a fool! Woe is me!" :P Or something like that. Not that I mind anyone disagreeing with me in general. I better not, not being a future lawyer!
by Lizard on 2006-11-15 00:06:33

I see a lot of people complaining that the plot seems to have stalled out again. I can't say I disagree...perhaps bringing back the romance angle between Bree and Daniel would spice things up a little bit? Also, LET'S SEE DANIEL AND BREE INTERACTING A LITTLE! It seems like we never see them talking into the camera at the same time, and the only time we see them interacting is when they are fighting. Putting them both in front of the camera would not only give us break from the same old same old, it would give us an opportunity to see chemistry between them. Surely, being on the run has had an impact on their relationship...so let's see it! Are they growing closer, or are they being pushed apart? Either way, it would be refreshing to see. Also, Bree seems sort of blase about being on the run from a crazy cult. Isn't she at all curious to do some investigating into what the hell is going on? P.S. Doesn't anybody know anything about this cult they have dedicated their lives to? I understand that Bree may not know everything about the inner workings of her religious cult, but if she was raised in it then wouldn't she have beliefs from it?? How can you be a part of a religion without knowing a single thing about it? At the very least Gemma must know something...she did leave after all. There must have had a reason why.

It's a portmanteau, not a contraction.

I did not say comment #52 either. This is getting pretty scary. My ONLY comment on this page for this video all day has been #154 and 156. I DID NOT say comment #s: 147 or #152. These comments are completely insipid. Any of you who know me would realize I would never write them. I suppose I will have to either change my name or just become a lurker here, because of this total jackass. I'll try to find a way to write to the moderator with this problem!!!
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:08:59

Well, in the old days, there WERE Gideon Bibles in motels, and they WEREN'T just an old wive's tale ... but I've been gone from the U.S. for a long time, so I don't know if they stopped doing it.
by crispy on 2006-11-15 00:11:41

Yay foreshadowing towards there being a video tomarrow. But why is Daniel reading a bible? Does anyone know about his religion? And is Bree spying on me, or is it coincidental that I'm never even in the general vacinity of a computer when they post vids? Ok, so for the General: FIIiiIIiiiiRrrrrRrrrRSSSSssssS$TttTTTtTTT!!!?!2112!@##%^531!@@gnfud!!Spankme!!!!!gnfid[snS! WTF why does that say spank me? I do not know, just another mystery of the LG15 board. By the way, I got a game on my phone, where I have a dog. I named her Bree. No, I'm not saying Brees a dog. I just like the name tatafornow TTFN ♥Robyn
by RobynCorynne on 2006-11-15 00:15:55

Ok, btw, instead of studying my Torts flashcards, I started organizing clues they'd given outright during the series into a table like I use to plot my Legal Writing memos. One thing I'm slightly intrigued by now is this play they kept talking about early on. Daniel talked about it more in a later blog, about someone's adventures after landing at Plymouth Rock. I cannot find ANYTHING about a story like that on the net, but I find it odd that somehow this Egyptian-influenced religion has plays they put on about the Puritans who fled to this country on the Mayflower. I want to know what connection, if any, there might be between the two. So anyhow, I'll let you guys know what I find, if anything. And in the meantime, I'm still not done reading for Civil Procedures, so the rest shall have to wait! Goodnight!
by Lizard on 2006-11-15 00:16:22

I'm not sure the Gideon Bible would be a clue, that's a little too "Mission:Impossible" for this setting. I also want to say that I appreciate that the creators are keeping to the original idea, that this is a "real" video blog by a 16 year old girl. If there was plot advancement in each video, it would be more of a podcast soap opera. Even in a motel, hiding from the deacons, Bree is using the video blog primarily to entertain her viewers. So she's putting on a happy face, and dressing up her stuffed animals in shower caps. This authenticity is the reason that new viewers (like me) can still stumble upon recent videos and wonder, at least for a little while, if these are real people. As Bree would say, "Pretty cool, huh?"
by newbie on 2006-11-15 00:18:18

Marbella #152, there is a Gideon's bible. I have seen them many times myself. Here's the story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gideons_International
by SharpI on 2006-11-15 00:19:17

I have met the Gideons. They DO provide Bibles for hotels in the south. They are usually small and green, although larger brown editions do exist. I grew up Southern Baptist and the Gideons came to our church and gave all the kids Bibles as I was growing up. I usually do still see Bibles in hotels, although outside of the south, they aren't always Gideon ones. Anyway, I never made that comment or said anything about Bree having a cute hat. Has anyone EVER known me to comment on anyone's clothing as cute? I just have to stop posting here until I find a way to contact a moderator? Does anyone know how I can do it? I've been searching. I need help!
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:19:57

Sharpl, stop.I am not making those comments! I am very frustrated right now because of this. Is there anyway to trace IP #s?
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:21:44

Ok, before I go to study... Marbella, maybe try to post something in the forums under Complaints? I think you may have to create a log-in name there to do it, but it might be worth it to call it to someone's attention.
by Lizard on 2006-11-15 00:21:51

Marbella, the operator of the web site surely can. I know the forums I operate on another site show IP addresses. Incidentally, someone else made a nearly identical comment to what the imposter Marbella said right before the fraudulent post, which looks suspicious for said person. Ok, I REALLY have to go! I hope you get it worked out, Marbella!

I'm sorry guys. Wow this day keeps on getting worse and worse. It seems like someone has been using my username. Just so you all know, I only will take credit for comment #153 and #154. And, Sorry Lizard for messing up, but there is no such thing as the Gideon Bible. Also, I am so happy that Bree and Daniel are staying in the same room. I was wondering how that would work out. I think that as a child, Bree looked up to Gemma. Remember that she used to be best friends with her DOG?!! It looks like Bree is still looking up to her now by dressing in Gemma's fashion.
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:29:18

This is scary. I tried to do what Lizard said, but somebody has already somehow registered my email address in the forum. How would anyone else know my email address?
by Marbella on 2006-11-15 00:36:34

#1. Yes, Gideon Bibles do exist and are the typical Bible you will find in a hotel bedside drawer. #2. No, "Gideon" is not a different religion or some offshoot of Christianity. It is just the name of the distributors who put the bibles in the hotel: "The Gideons primary purpose has always been personal evangelization conducted by Christian business and professional men. As early as 1900, the organization considered putting Bibles at the front desk of the hotels its members stayed in, but it was not until 1908 that the association voted to place Bibles in all hotel rooms."
by GertrudeBeast on 2006-11-15 00:38:34

by Lizard on 2006-11-15 00:53:31

Gideon as an organization made it their mission ages ago to ensure that there is a bible in every hotel or motel room in the nation for whosever wanted to read it. That doesn't necessarily mean they are the only supplier of bibles for hotels and motels. BTW, the vid was cute. And everyone who's complaining about the storyline dragging needs to develope an attention span greater than the average six-year-old's. The only thing I lose patience with is Gemma. And her vids. Huge lips for a white chick.
by Tacoma on 2006-11-15 00:55:33

You guys should have sex, then bree should feel really guilty about it and it should spark even more of a fear and need for her parents, then you should go back and try to find them, sneaking around and trying not to get caught. You should find them by means of waking up somewhere after they came up behind you with clorophorm (sp) in a room full of mafia-type people, deacons, in suits who explain to you that you are actually from another planet then you become fearfull for your parents sanity first then your own maybe they are right but how could you think that.... etc. Make it go totally out there and off the wall all because you did a little love-making haha oh and you gotta enjoy it not that i want some porn but a love story where both sides connect might be nice for a change.

usernamestolen - i just read your post, and you've got this all wrong. you're making connections here that don't exist. you don't need somebody's email address to post here. you just type in any name under "leave a reply" your identity was NOT stolen. seriously, you probably just forgot your password...

a BOY and a GIRL bored in an otherwise empty MOTEL ROOM!? cmon daniel...or bree. somebody's gotta get things moving...
by J on 2006-11-15 01:56:41

Sigh, why do people have to be stupid? *Hugs* Marbella, sorry you're having a bad day and got your name stolen :( Are you going to be posting under 'usernamestolen' until it's resolved, I'm assuming? Anyway, yeah this vid was kind of boring...however, the more of these we get, the longer the series will last so I don't mind :) I do think there's something to the beads, going to watch again but it's too much of a coincidence that she would suddenly start wearing them when we've never seen her wear them before. /wave Lizard, did you get your homework done? :-P

What's up with those typing skills?
by Ronnie on 2006-11-15 02:22:35

I think that someone is fooling around with us in these "the deacons" posts but I went ahead and did some googling and cutting and pasting and here is some of what I found. اوريم وتميم al-Ūrīm waʾaṯ-Ṯummīm). Some scholars have suggested "the" Urim and Thummim consists of two crystals; however, the precise nature of the medium is unknown. DANIEL READING BIBLE? : According to the Bible, stones used for "a" Urim and Thummim were kept in the breastplate of Aaron, the brother of Moses. The earliest reference to Urim and Thummim in the Bible is that Aaron carried them with him as High Priest. Many scholars believe Urim and Thummim were originally stones that resided in the breastplate (with other precious stones) of the Jewish High Priest ceremonial clothing when he officiated in the tabernacle or temple. The last agreed-upon reference to Urim and Thummim in the Bible is in Ezra and Nehemiah when, as the Temple and its worship practices are being restored, those who cannot prove their lineage as priests are commanded to wait for a priest with Urim and Thummim to identify them. Some feel that "Urim and Thummim" is another name for the casting of lots, rather than a device (or stones, etc.) that is used as a medium. Because of this context, some traditions hold that the choosing of Matthias to replace Judas Iscariot in the book of Acts by the casting of lot was done by Urim and Thummim, rather than by "the" Urim and Thummim. In either case, Urim and Thummim is not mentioned specifically in Biblical text in regard to this calling. MASONIC REFERENCE: Masonic Legend (taught during the 13, 14 and 21 degrees ceremonies of Masonry) and Kabbalistic tradition states that Urim and Thummin were part of the recovered artifacts taken from Solomon's Temple after Hiram Abiff was murdered while protecting the temple treasury. According to the legend, Urim and Thummin and other recovered treasure were placed back in the temple treasury. Hey cool! there is even a YALE REFERENCE!: The Biblical Hebrew singular form of Urim and Thummim (אורים ותמים) is emblazoned across the open book pictured on the Yale shield. It is translated in Latin on a banner below as "Lux et Veritas" ("Light and Truth"). and we all know that Yale as a secret society that presidents and people in high places are involved in! the The Socitey of the Skulls- I think that there was a movie about it too. I also Googled: Pseudomonarchia Daemonum and I found some order called "the order of the spirits" but basically, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum refers to demons. here is a link, also that other word "Asmodai" is included within this link as well but is spelled differetnly http://www.esotericarchives.com/solomon/goetia.htm#asmoday

by The Fonz on 2006-11-15 03:18:36

okay... The Deacons are getting a little creepy... I definitly think that Daniel is in on all this and he's gonna call the other deacons(cause daniel is obviousley a deacon from the 3rd layer of egyptian hell) and kidnap her to the moon to do their evil ritual of doom to summon a really really really really big box of milkduds. mmm milkduds. anyways ummm I just thought I'd share that have fun all you non-cultist losers!!!! haha go join a realcult and be a real somebody!!!!!!

by Lara on 2006-11-15 04:40:49

Didn't anybody see the hint in moonpies' post? The acronym: POOL FLOOR KEY I looked at the vid again, paused at the pool shot, and sure enough there's something in the pool that looks like it could be a key. Oh boy. I'm studying this stuff for hints? I've got to get a life.
by Mr. Caughee on 2006-11-15 04:47:52

Right, so you're not in the least bit interested where your parents are!? Come on!! If that was real life she'd be frantically running to anyone who could help them and doing everything possible to rectify the situation. At least she could say, we keep ringing or, we are really scared and haven't got a clue what to do. This is getting a.n.n.o.y.i.n.g. Oh, there is a special request from the creators on the LGpedia page. Anything significant? Is American Thanksgiving not around that time? Could they be going for a festive ending or a possible move to film or something like that? They said: The Creators of lonelygirl15 appreciate all the effort put forth by the fans to make the LGpedia the trove of LG15 information that it has become. They now charge the LGpedia community with a new mission: to create a "Story So Far..." section. In a nutshell, they would like a concise yet comprehensive introduction to LG15 for newbies linked to from the main page. The articles Breeniverse Timeline and Down The Rabbit Hole: The Hunt For Bree can be a starting-off point for this new viewer summary. The Creators would like to see what we can come up with by Novemeber 20th. So let's all chip in and see what we can do
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 05:14:40

ok so you guys definately have sucke dme in to the whole oooh clues. Anywho, the person posting as the deacon.. the symbols they posted translates to Orim and Tamim. So on that note, explanation? "It is normally translated as "Light and Truth" -- but the hebrew translates more precisely as Lights and Truths." Shrug... too early+no coffee=much Bunny ramble

Am I the only one who noticed that Bree seemed to be wearing the same top that Gemma wore in the video where she complained about her flatmates?
by galacticemu on 2006-11-15 05:55:07

Wow my laptop broke so i havent been able to see these in a few days, hmmm interesting, danielbeast reading the bible, oh and i notivced a guy in a suit near the pool, im still guessing their being followed.
by sarahbo on 2006-11-15 06:04:16

Guys, Bree is wearing the EXACT SAME SWEATER Gemma is in her "Horrid Flatmates" video...maybe they are dressing alike (which would explain the beads etc) to send each other some kind of signal..or MAYBE Gemma has arrived at the Motel but is keeping out of sight from the camera until it's "safe" or something....whoa!
by WhoaNelly on 2006-11-15 06:45:05

The focus is lost. The room is not something a girl in this position would think or blog about. She would be focused on her parents and/or getting help.
by Handsome Bob on 2006-11-15 06:48:00

That was interesting! I don't really know what to say...
by Tessaroo on 2006-11-15 06:48:56

uhm Gemma's in like a cotton tshirt, and Bree's is a sweater, but nice call... at first glance I could see that being something to catch your eye. maybe it is the breators way of saying that us thinking Gemma is trying to be like Bree isnt the direction we should be taking with this... there is something mroe we are all missing.
by CountryBunny on 2006-11-15 07:02:51

oye breators?? Haha.. try creators, although breators is awfully fitting.
by CountryBunny on 2006-11-15 07:03:37

Why is daniel reading the bible... not really a bad thing, i wonder if he is looking for something???
by Jessica on 2006-11-15 07:33:18

I'm angry because I'm like LAST on the page! Oh well. 198 I also saw somethong at the bottom of the pool!

check out what is going on in Bree's bedroom while she is at the motel: youtube(dot)com/deemontreal
by Aleister on 2006-11-15 07:36:45

I can see how the clothes look similar in those two videos. I would say the only difference is the material they're made from, and Bree has her sleeves rolled up.
by GothicJoe on 2006-11-15 07:40:48

# 207 and 198.. what do you see at the bottom of the pool... all i see is the reflection of the sun!
by Jessica on 2006-11-15 07:45:24

This has gone far enough. Do you think that this is a game Bree? We can assure you that it is not. Your parents realized this was not a game; even though it was too late. Stop playing. Have Daniel bring you to Lucy's apartment before you get to the point where there is no going back and you make our choice for us (as your parents did).
by The Deacons on 2006-11-15 08:14:49

I said it a couple videos ago but I still think Bree and Gemma are talking in code. This video uses the same verifications as the others. At the end she nodds her head "no" while saying no about the hotel being a class establishment. It's to exagerated. I believe this is way she verifies the code with Gemma. I think it is a double negative type code. When Gemma and Bree are trying to say something to eachother in code they say the opposite while nodding yes and saying yes at the same time. (double positive) Nobody acknowledged it last time I mentioned it so I thought I would throw it out there again. Any opinions?
by Toad on 2006-11-15 08:30:17

Ive seen all of them and right now its kinda slow. need to pick up the pace in the next video.
by CyrelTheCoastie on 2006-11-15 08:31:45

Why is everyone so concerned about Daniel reading the Bible? Have you not ever been bored out of your mind in a motel and picked it up just because its interesting? That or the yellow pages, and they can't show him reading that because he might accidentally show the front and give away their location!! (lmfao)
by Mo on 2006-11-15 08:33:32

If you look up Sariel in Wiki, he's one of the archangelss, but is actually one who lusted for one of the daughters of man, in some languages, te same as Azrael... the Angel of Death...in the Book of Enoch... nnow one who was a lot into the book of Enoch was John Dee, who was believed to have translated the Necronomicon..... coincidence??? I don;t think so, now we are talking straight demonology... this is thick!!! Origenes Adamantiuos I think was one of the ones who actually deceide what the churrch was to believe and what book were gonna be part of the Bible
by rosie is watching on 2006-11-15 08:43:26

Origen's conception of God is entirely abstract -- God is a perfect unity, invisible and incorporeal, transcending all things material, and therefore inconceivable and incomprehensible. He is likewise unchangeable, and transcends space and time. But his power is limited by his goodness, justice, and wisdom; and, though entirely free from necessity, his goodness and omnipotence constrained him to reveal himself. This revelation, the external self-emanation of God, is expressed by Origen in various ways, the Logos being only one of many. Revelation was the first creation of God (cf. Prov. viii. 22), in order to afford creative mediation between God and the world, such mediation being necessary, because God, as changeless unity, could not be the source of a multitudinous creation. The Logos is the rational creative principle that permeates the universe. Since God eternally manifests himself, the Logos is likewise eternal. He forms a bridge between the created and uncreated, and only through him, as the visible representative of divine wisdom, can the inconceivable and incorporeal God be known. Creation came into existence only through the Logos, and God's nearest approach to the world is the command to create. While the Logos is substantially a unity, he comprehends a multiplicity of concepts, so that Origen terms him, in Platonic fashion, "essence of essences" and "idea of ideas". The defense of the unity of God against the Gnostics led Origen to maintain the subordination of the Logos to God, and the doctrine of the eternal generation is later. Origen distinctly emphasised the independence of the Logos as well as the distinction from the being and substance of God. The term "of the same substance with the Father" was not employed. He is merely an image, a reflex not to be compared with God; as one among other "gods", of course first in rank.
by rosie is watching on 2006-11-15 08:50:46

Well, they can't be doing toooooo badly if they still have a camcorder and a laptop.
by Haley LaLonde on 2006-11-15 08:56:13

aargh.. complex theological systems always make my head hurt, and Origen had a few personal doctrines that were pretty out of wack, particularly the pre-existence of souls, a view completely unsubstantiated by the Bible. Suffice it to say that "God is, and is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him." Why must we be more complex than that?
by Tacoma on 2006-11-15 09:08:29

For all of you haters out there in regards to the last Gemma video: No one seems to care that Owen and Thor were shown in this video but not P. Monkey... If she was so horrified at the wanker comment, surely she would have shown P. Monkey some love? And the beads are a sure sign that there is a Gemma-Bree connection. Stop the hate.
by Jane on 2006-11-15 09:09:59

#211 Toad - If they are talking in code, what are they talking about?? I think a code is a good idea, but what is it and how can it be broken??
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 09:12:36

I think the videos are amazing thus far. I really like how "real" it all is. If they were posting every day and stuff was constantly happening it would be like every other show out there and I know, I for one, probably wouldn't be as interested.
by Dutchess on 2006-11-15 09:15:30

i think they should fly over to stay with gemma!!
by piefacex on 2006-11-15 09:22:26

Georgia, I guess my theory is more that they are using opposites to give eachother information or rather say yes or no to things without tipping off others who may be watching. For instance if Gemma says "yes" stay put while "nodding her head yes", she is saying Bree should get moving. There could be a code as well but I haven't seen anything that tells me what it is.
by Toad on 2006-11-15 09:29:12

218 & 219, the necronomicon is fiction..it's a figment of H.P. Lovecraft's imagination. It did not exist before Lovecraft wrote about it. There have been "books of the dead" in cultures, but there was no necronomicon. As far as John Dee, the astrologer to Queen Elizabeth, he was an extremely pious Christian. But, as for the rest of your post....BRAVO! I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you. That has got to be the best thing I've read in here so far.
by tannhaus on 2006-11-15 09:36:13

if you haven't been home how do you put your videos on the internet
by Fart Sniffer on 2006-11-15 09:42:18

I just hopped on this lonelygirl site a couple of days ago. I like the story, but really, why extend the suspense any longer? Be careful, or you may lose some viewers! I really enjoy the storyline. By the way, I love Owen! Where can I get one? XD
by Crystal Chord on 2006-11-15 09:43:05

Toad, oooh, I see what you mean now! Ok then, so time to watch all the Gemma/Bree videos since 'On The Run' and see if there is a link or if that was just a coincidence, mmmm great way to procrastinate! What is it we're looking for again, A shaking head to a positive answer and a nodding head to a negitive answer?
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 09:53:26

If you're going to post something, could you PLEASE at least make sure you are Somewhat caught up in the storyline??? Such as #228... we've established why they are able to post videos. Please keep up at least a little bit!
by TheGreenLaceBeauty on 2006-11-15 10:00:37

Georgia, Basicly; double positive (nod head up and down while saying yes) or Double negative (shake head side to side while saying no) If I am right they are meaning the opposite when they do this. They always seam to do a sarcastic bit that is overly obvious(hotel is classy/P Monkey is a wanker, etc.) and I think that is the tip off. It is much more subtle when they are possibly talking about more serious subjects(staying put etc.). This would also explain Gemmas light attitude, not wanting to tip off the order and all. Just a theory but now that I am jaded by my own interpretation and I need someone else to verify it.
by Toad on 2006-11-15 10:03:28

I'm still confused! To be fair it doesn't take much to confuse me, I think I'll watch your example to get the jist of things hang on ...
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 10:07:01

But, if you follow that example then she doesn't miss her parents and she didn't stay in alot of hotels. I think she could be nodding when she says something that is true, like missing her parents. But when she says that every hotel is the same she shakes her head, because every hotel isn't the same ... maybe ... also, that means she's not happy about there being no cockroaches ... have I got the wrong end of the stick, or branch at this rate? Help!!
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 10:10:49

"I think she could be nodding when she says something that is true, like missing her parents. But when she says that every hotel is the same she shakes her head, because every hotel isn’t the same " Sorry, with that I meant that she is lying about every hotel being the same even though she swears that they are ... I'm going to shut up now ...
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 10:12:54

toad-- if wwhat you say is right... -(learning egy...)gemma shakes her head NO while saying its not a reglion at all. (so it is?) -(don't trust..)gemma nods her head YES while saying keep doing what you're doing and youll be fine. (so don't do what you're doing?) - (exploring...) bree shakes her head NO while saying "no business calling this a motel". (so they aren't in a motel after all?) i think if you're right this will make for an interesting discovery.... and we will all have a lot of re-watching to do.
by emilyanne on 2006-11-15 10:13:10

What part of the bible was daniel reading? and wy didnt she mention the gideons leaving it there every bible in a motel says that...
by Elizabeth on 2006-11-15 10:15:05

Geargia said, "But, if you follow that example then she doesn’t miss her parents and she didn’t stay in alot of hotels. " --- She did not nod her head up and down while saying yes there. so she does miss her parents. There is a cut before and after that and she stayed very still while saying it as well.
by Toad on 2006-11-15 10:16:37

Georgia, Sorry I spelled your name wrong. I am terrible at explaining this but basicly the nodding to me says they are meaning the opposite of what they are nodding. Or maybe my brain has shrunk from one to many boring conference calls this morning. It's a close call on which one is more likely.
by Toad on 2006-11-15 10:25:45

Nope, sorry, complete confusion! I think my brain has gone mushy from all the written words (inside joke) Does anyone else understand what Toad means or what it was that I was trying to say?
by Georgia on 2006-11-15 10:39:51

I just re-watched and I think I am just trying to hard to see something that isn't there. Ignore my previous posts. I think I will have to drink either more or less coffee before I watch these things. I can't decide which though.
by Toad on 2006-11-15 10:52:08

Yes cute video. I liked the violin music with the still shots of the motel room But despite everything people still complain complain and complain. I just wish I could stop all this complaining.
by Inigo on 2006-11-15 11:11:08

Some of you guys who say it's unlike Bree to show any emotion other than despair (while her parents are missing) don't seem to realize that a small video blog isn't her entire day. Over a week of their lives (over a hundred and fifty hours), and all we see is about eight minutes of it. I'm thinking that she's thinking like I'm thinking and thinking that she's not gonna show us videos of her breaking down and crying or whatever. Even when I'm sad (as if), I'll still put on a nice face for my guest...and most of you do too :-)
by Moondoogle on 2006-11-15 11:19:15

Word moondoogle, that's so true. People think this is a conventional soap opera, where we see the characters in a more voyeuristic way, and the camera isn't supposed to be there. But in Bree's world, that camera IS there so she is not gonna show any emotion she doesn't want to show.
by Inigo on 2006-11-15 11:21:44

If they released a lonelygirl15 soundtrack with the music they've been using for her videos, I would be the first to pre-pre-pre-order it! Well, not necessarily for this Bach piece. It was just something that came to mind since I've been searching for the songs in the videos... without much success. Ideas?
by literallySpeaking on 2006-11-15 11:22:08

Bree! Daniel! Why haven't you called?! Did you not see our latest video? http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Paulmark18 We've been sitting around worried sick about what happened to you guys, and here you're off sitting by the pool at some motel! The least you guys could have done was invite us along ;-) (Besides little soaps does this place have a bowling alley too?) Well we're going to try to do some investigating here while you're gone, we hope your parents are ok... -P&A
by Paul & Andrea on 2006-11-15 11:28:50

I agree that they should release a soundtrack. I'd buy it, I like the songs used. But they would have to pay all the bands that contributed (except Bach. He's in the public domain!) But anyway, I also agree that I would put on a happy face for my guests, and would not show scenes of me crying. People are right when they say the camera IS supposed to be there. When I did video blogs, I would put on a happy face and not look as sad as I felt sometimes. I mean, come on, yes, it's fictional. But they want it to seem REAL to keep people interested. Heck, this is more real than reality TV.

#189--Marbella--the Imposter Thank you for completely ruining my experience on this board forever. Now that I know that other people can post as me, insult my friends and make stupid comments such as "There are no Gideon Bibles" and have a dozen people commenting in response, I know that this is not a safe place to be. Yes, I have been informed by the complaints moderator that the only safe place for me is in the forums. Problem is, I don't want to post there. So, this is it for me. Marbella impersonator--if you wanted to run me off, you have succeeded. If any of you are interested in running someone off, simply follow the example of that jerk, ok? If it wasn't your intention, MI, then you were unable to contemplate the impact your behavior has had on another person. It was very hurtful. Your shallow apology did not reflect that. Bye. Sorry I have to go.. the real Marbella

changingwaters Says: "As much as I loved Lonely Girl, I think I may stop watching soon. Firstly, the story has gotten very uninvolved and lacks so much of its original inventiveness. Secondly, I’m bored." I am finding it much like that prty after the bar. You know the one where everyone is all excited and wants to continue the excitement along. Then when you get to the house party you find it just isn't as fun as it was at the bar and you realize that you should have gone home and gotten some sleep instead. They seam to be dragging it out now. The pace has slowed to a crawl plot development wise, when it should be picking up given the story line. I like the mystery of it all but mystery without action or verification of clues is not very captivating. Come on creators throw us a bone. There better be some nachos or at least those mini hot dogs soon or I am leaving the party. I already feel like that buddy that falls asleep on the couch sitting up.

Like your parents are kidnapped, you run in and grab some clothes, your stuffed animals, the letter and cash from mom & dad, good, good. I even don't mind her being silly. I see it as a defense mechanism. But I can't take her great escape seriously if she's also packing video props. I thought they were roughing it. What else did she pack, her feather boa? (Note to Creators: NO!!) She could've improvised with the shower cap or towel turban or something. Sigh... Why won't they hire _me_ as a writer, since I'm always right? ;-)

I agree with 251 Changin Waters and 254 Toad. This show has jumped the shark. You should choose 12-10-06 (as in December 12, as in the numbers in Bree the Cookie Monster) as your wrap-up date.

If my children were kidnapped I would be devastated and wouldn't even think of making a video vlog - much less a silly one like this. This is out of place. Either its a clue or bad taste.

sweet Daniel reading the bible. you think thats why he strongly felt bad about the cultish thing? cuz he believes in the words of the bible?
by Emery on 2006-11-15 18:17:19

Mmmmmm....nothing much new on this video.

#203... They DID say they were running out of money... :P
by Brian on 2006-11-15 21:11:26

Oh and also...good for you Daniel for reading the Bible. Maybe you can bring the light into this girl's dark world.

I think the only problems with this experiment is that the writers aren't very good. Loosely constructed, uneven & illogical pacing, Don't give them too much credit for hidden meaning... I think they are way over their heads just trying to figure out what to do next. Every episode someone says it Jumps the Shark... well yeah, they seem to find a new way of jumping in every discombobulated vidpost. Hey guys -Creator dudes- save your "show" ... take every last penny you have & hire at least one writer with professional experience. They can help you with internal consistency & story arcs. Man, I'm on your side, but you've garnered more attention than you actually deserve by getting a luck novelty PR break... But your actual product is just soooo disorganized & obviously floundering. If it really isn't a hopelessly amateur effort, then you are doing a great job of hiding your professional chops. Well, blaze a trail for the suits who will follow, at least they can hire pros. .
by HungryJack on 2006-11-15 23:09:06

Oh yeah, & put some Google ads on the sides, I click on all of the ads at the end of the vids, but you need the money to hire an actual writer.

i thought the cut to the pool was really strange, but i guess the next video explains why that happened. haha. lame.

Why is Bree not replying to Gemma's videos? Then again Gemma did call P-monkey a wanker and a geezer which would have offended Bree atleast a little! Why is Gemma not giving us more info like she promised in her video "Learning Egyption"? Is she really a friend or someone working on the inside helping out the cult? Sure she pointed out the man in the suit BUT she could just be pretending to help? I'm just not sure of Gemma's intentions just yet...It could all end up being some massive twisted plot! What's happening with Bree's parents? Are they still ALIVE?? Will Bree get kidnapped by that man in the suit and leave Daniel to go searching for her again? I loved his videos made around the time of the ceremony! That's what kept me hooked to this most of the time.

Trust is a loaded word, Bree Advice can be biased. Keep your options open and always remember that Even old friends with wide smiles can deceive Ask yourself what your parents would do? Did your mother tell you about Gemma's mother? If something should happen one would cover Please understand that that time is now Before you leave the motel Relax by the pool one last time Everything will be illuminated Even if you have to dive deep for the answer

BTW, the music isn't one of the Bach violin concertos; it's the last movement of the g minor sonata for solo violin. :D

Ugh, can Daniel stop watching magazines?!
by Ashley on 2006-11-17 16:48:30

those of you who are really into this and follow all the time, i love reading your comments and the clues you catch and all that. but why don't you comment on Bree's parents little poem riddles posted as comments? what do you all think of those?
by kassikicksass on 2006-12-01 15:48:59
